Just my opinion
1.Stock rom cuz there are alot of cm7 based rom already and most stock rom based are now either discontinue or buggy.
2.Remove bloat ware and replace stock app with better app. Barebone will be nice too so we can customized the way we want
3.Performance and battery efficiency
4.It really ur choice but I prefer sth else more "weird"

1. try mebitek, cause i think we have andro-id for stock
2. try timescape, but without SE launcher
3. stable, free bugs, good battery of course, and try something new, give some suprises for us, like OC to 1gz maybe (kidding)
4. agree with ICS
No need add too many app on it. .try work on launcher, theme or statusbar.lockscreen....the most important is support a cleannn ROM. Base kittenlinux build squad config...mabtek rom have some bug...

Very unique way too start a rom. Thank you.
Here are my suggestions ---
1. MIUI style ( there are many ics styled rom theme, so miui is my choice)
2. No bloatware
3. Battery tweaks and slaid script
4. CM based - better customization than stock ( my opinion)
5. Base mebitek latest
It should be like a carbon copy of ICS

I used CM 7.2.0 RC1 that was the best...^^ but I use stock 2.3.5 (pre-sales code XEH (if it matters)), because 3.5G/HSDPA

if u want a BUG free ROM, stick to the original GB stock ROM..
if u like advanced features , then you should FLASH CUSTOM ROMS..
FOR stability, u shud use cm7 rc0 v0.7 or v1.0 by MEBITEK.
FOR performance, u shud use cm7 rc5.4+ by SQUADZONE.
FOR just getting new flavours, u shud try different other ROMS which are BRILLIANT n have DIFFERENT FEATURES, PROS, AND CONS.. ;-)

hey bro , u can choose whether the status bar is at the bottom or at the top..
for that , go to SETTINGS> CYANOGENMOD SETTINGS> TABLET TWEAKS> UNCHECK THE BOTTOM STATUS BAR OPTION...
ur status bar would be at the TOP...
dont forget to tell me whether my suggestion worked or not.

You should try kittenlinux cm7 it is very stable.
i would suggest squadzones latest cm7 or the offical cm7 both are good roms

1. some script e.g. V6 SuperCharger + Mugen Power + 2x battery +
2. Tweak (but I don't know how )
3. use the battery with higher mAH e.g. 2430mAH

Just keep this in mind:
1. You can use the kittenlinux's mebitek's deodexed variant (They are both built from Pure CM) in case you want nightlys or weeklys, they are almost the same (I actually flash Mebitek's original build without wiping data without trouble on top of kittenlinux's)
2. I haven't tried the gps on mebitek's latest release (version 1.2) but it was fixed on kittenlinux's mebitek's deodexed latest weekly in case you want extra fast sat fixes.
3. Adding slaidy's scripts has been great for me (it's extra smooth, somehow better than Adrenaline's).
So: Use Mebitek's (1.2), add Salidy's scripts, in case you have gps problems try the gps.conf from kittenlinux's (they are different).

And then flash
But before flashing be sure that you dont have any other script on ur phone
It's basically a perfomance booster

Agree.Cyanmobile is all about functions and tweak but it a bit less stable than cyanogemod (at least for me )
If you want to port a rom yourself, there's already a tut in the dev section.. you might want to try it.

Just try cyanmobile. It is very good rom, with so much different tweaks that cause that phone can be less stable but sometimes it works much better than others roms.

i am currently using cm9.2 by erikcas with no mods to scripts.i think that ics roms like cm9.2 or aosp and gb roms like stock-based or cm7 are best for mini since they are faster and smooth then cm10.1.

My favourite ROM of all time is emanoN, the ROM saves my Mini from bootloops, soft brick and it's my first custom rom !
