Here's how i ported droid ace to droidgio:

use a gio base rom,
and make two folders. keep the speriance rom that ur going to port in a folder called ported
and the gio downloaded rom as base.
so u dont get confused. Good luck.

You can't use the ROM posted here directly to your device. But, you may have to port it to your device by changing the settings with your device sources.
how i can i do that? what are my phone sources? help pls because the hardware is almost the same

You may have to consult some ROM porters maybe. If you check the development section you can see ROMs ported from other devices. So you may contact them to know how the process actually works.

I love to install custom ROM on my Galaxy Mini II but I didnt find any ROM that seriously build for it. Can I use any custom ROM that used for Samsung Galaxy Mini to Samsung Galaxy Mini II? If yes which ROM is suitable and recommended to me.. Tq guys...

My phone rooted, stock room, locked bl, gingerbread, it's bootloop, i rename 2 file "bootsamsung" & other i forget, from extension "qgm" to "qg", after i reboot it stuck in boot animation.

Make sure that you choose your model, GT-S6500 or GT-6500D on the left, and your region, hover over those regions to see which is which.
Also if you want to potentially overclock the phone, don't choose any of the 27.11.2012 firmwares.

I've been trying to achieve that with Heimdall…*but do not understand it. Got it installed, device is in download mode, but where to get firmware for Heimdall and not Odin? Can you provide little more information?

But can see the rom's dev thread where you'll find screenshots, how to install etc and you can read usefull coments from other members
do check wich ace u get
if u get the gt-s5830i u will have less roms
