This is my first attempt in Development section. This was a 'One Package' file which was supposed to be flashed under PDA. I have converted it into 'Multi Package' file(PDA, MODEM,CSC) using a tool called ''SplitFUS'. Ihave tested it and its working.

recovery mode is for flash *zip files or apk's, the Download Mode just only for ODIN please make sure u read the dev instruction properly...

XXLF3 is july update & ur firmware is of february.

If I go to samfirmware.com and sort on the latest 10 for GT-S5830i I see the same ids as mentioned here.
Questions:
What's the difference with the firmware posted here?
Is my Belgian country code of any importance, which country code should I choose?
Where can I find release notes for the firmware? I like to know what I'm installing.

If you go to samfirmware.com/samfit ---> samsung letter code. there you can see what letter code you'll need if you want Dutch language. All codes that starts with xx contains dutch language. Don't flash the wrong modem, its possible that you can't make calls. Can somebody confirme this last part?
You can only flash the pda part if you want.

You'll have to ask Samsung for that. I updated only baseband (modem) today from xxld2 to xxlh2
All works great. if you look for update through your phone. don't you get a update to xxld3??? I did.

This firmware is the latest firmware for indian 5830i. Ur firmware might be the latest firmware in ur country. There is a big difference.

It is the latest Brazilian firmware released last month. I don't know if flashing other countries firmwares may cause a problem, so I prefer to flash this Brazilian one since they released it.

And what about the lockscreen??
On my stock fw (dont know what it is ) i had GNote-like lock, like this:
But, after flashing XXLA2 for the roms i had this crappy one
I tried re-flashing XXLB2 (ITA firmware) but it was still like that
How are these firmwares' lockscreens (XXLA4 and XXLF3)??

XXLF3 has the note style lock screen...Flash this firmware..I think its the best right now

Looks like the other thread doesn't have a link for the latest UK version yet.
Is there a difference between the France and UK *CLK7 firmware? The PDA code is the same, the CSC code is different. Looks like they were released one day apart from each other.

I havent tried the UK version yet but I noticed that the French version didnt have the ability to write and draw on a screen shot.... unlike the 4.0.4 feature

There is a Kazakhstan 4.0.4 (ice cream sandwich) so maybe that contains Arabic?
I think the 4.1 UK supports it though... My girlfriend has taken my tablet with her away for the week so I can't check..

ok now, I'm ready to flash via odin, but I have a doubt: I don't know whether I can/have to root and install the recovery BEFORE updating to 4.1.1 (because I think I would loose root) or if there is a method to do that AFTER the update (and where I can find it an appropriate one)...

You will lose root access but can easily get it back by using CF root via odin... you will find that in this very development section.
This will also install stock recovery but you can easily install clockwork recovery back too

I flashed with Mobile Odin and root was preserved

Hi, how to flash it? By Odin? Little tutorial might be very helpful (I flash hundreds ROMs on Nexus 4, Xperia Z and LG G2 but Galaxy Tab S is my first Samsung device). Thanks!

Does it support Italian language? How can I root it? Does it keep the warranty and official support and updates after it's been installed? Sorry for all these questions but I'm a newbe that just bought it in Japan but I'm Italian and I didn't expect it's supporting just english, korean and japanese, and PlayStore doesn't allow me to download apps made just for Italian market:crying::crying::crying:

I have branded Vodafone Romania and I will flash DBT. This will not void your warranty or knox. If you have 910F you CAN flash this without any worries.
If you want to go back to your original CSC you can flash with odin your firmware when will apear.

I have US n910t.. i know on s4 i was able to flash i9505 roms no problem but im not sure if thats the case with note devices.

I will be very carefully about that. Lolipop comes with new bootloader and modem besides android version upgrade. If I were you I will wait for the specific version of your phone.
(Nobody knows if you can revert back to kitkat from Official lolipop, there is no root or custom recovery so if it's not the right version for you you can brick your phone for days/weeks before you can repair it.)

I will be very carefully about that. Lolipop comes with new bootloader and modem besides android version upgrade. If I were you I will wait for the specific version of your phone.
(Nobody knows if you can revert back to kitkat from Official lolipop, there is no root or custom recovery so if it's not the right version for you you can brick your phone for days/weeks before you can repair it.)

The recovery we have like Philz will still work if you flash Lollipop will it not? You will probably have to flash the recovery again if you flash Lollipop through Odin though.

i'm downloading the rom on 300 kb average lol its scary .

My internet explorer has crashed at 99%. F..k windows. No resume, starting all over again...
