- Unable to start my phone
- Unable to go Recovery Mode
- The screen always show "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
- Tried to use Kies but doesn't even detect my device.
- Put my phone in charger all night (but always with the message "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." in max luminosity) but this morning my phone was cold as ice, battery was empty.

Now I got a phone which don't charge (discharge faster than it charge ) and which got its system partition (factoryfs) corrupted
I'm searching for a solution, (inb4, Samsung Repair Center ISN'T a solution ) Is it possible to use a kind of software to format the eMMc and reformat it right ?
Also, how can I charge my phone if it always show this annoying message which inhibit my battery ?

I think ... none can wake up the note from hardbrick (just like me )
I got same problem 5 days ago with LPY. Wipe in recovery is dangerous think to do. I got my problem also after wipe in recovery while on LPY.
All trick I do to make my note wake up ... but nothing. Thursday morning go to SSC and they said have to replace part inside my note. Yesterday afternoon they call me that my note already repaired ... free of charge .
Hope you can wake up ur note with some trick ... so you can share with us how to do it bro. Good luck !!!

Yep I read it, so many times, but as M3GATROLL said, KingDroid v1.4 is a mix of both LPY and LPF, I thought the dev use LPF part to securise the rom..

When I flashed stock LPF I did exactly as dr.ketan show in his thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1659308 ) with the 16gb pit
(btw I got the 16gb version)
When I flashed stock GB rom (single file) I put it into PDA and I tick "Repartition" "Auto Reboot" "F reset time"
I have removed the battery 2 hours ago, I put it back now

Quand j'ai flashé la rom stock LPF j'ai fais exactement comme décrit dans le guide de dr.ketan http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1659308 avec le fichier pit de 16 giga puisque j'ai le Note 16Gb
Quand j'ai flashé la rom stock de Gingerbread avec un seul fichier je l'ai mis en PDA et j'ai laissé coché les trois cases "Repartition" " auto reboot" et "f reset time" (du coup j'ai un doute, je sais pas s'il fallait activer la re-partition)
J'ai enlevé la batterie il y a deux heures, je la remet maintenant, et puis je vais manger
Le fichier .tar que tu upload contient quoi ?

when you flash with pc odin a tar, don't choice REPARTITION

Galaxy Note is my third Samsung Android device, after Galaxy i7500 and Nexus S, not the first time I brick these device, but there is always a solution to unbrick it..
I'm not dev, but I think this "superbrick" is unbrickable as 'always', need some serious dev to find a way to reformat and repartition the whole eMMc through the download mode, it's maybe possible if Samsung Factorys can do it

for me your phone is not bricked,you have just a bad installation but now the system don't charge the phone...
have you a friend with a note for charge your battery? or test with a seller (exemple phone house ) for 1hour....

Dude, from the gravity of your problem. I seriously doubt you can ever revive back your phone to it's former state.
I'm no expert but I read the important details here that the emmc chip on all Exynos devices have bugs on it. And not even a Jtag can ever wipe out and fix the bug.
My best advice to you (I know it's 100Km from your house to the nearest Samsung repair center) is to just make an effort and sacrifice to take that plunge of going there.
The longer you prolong your Note by experimenting and subjecting to whatever test you do, the more harm you might be giving it to already.
I read somewhere from a chinese saying.. 'A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step...'
Again, take your Note to Samsung and have it repaired. That's my best advice to you.

Si tu va au SSC, il suffit de dire que tu as branché ton téléphone sur ton ordinateur et que Kies ta proposé une mise à jour, que tu as accepté et que Kies a buggé (dit leur que "y'avait marqué le programme a cessé de fonctionner"), fais semblant d’être un utilisateur lambda qui voulait juste synchroniser ses photos et normalement il te le prendront gratuitement, et au bout d'une semaine tu retrouvera ton note

Nop, I doesn't know anyone with a note, and I live in the coutryside ( à la campagne ) and there is no phone store...
But I gave a Nexus S and the voltage is exactly the same, logically I can recharge the Note battery with the Nexus S but the battery does not fit in
Nexus S battery is basiccaly the same as note battery, so I can :
- Charge Note battey with my nexus S
- Put Nexus S battery into the note (1500mAh but same voltage 3.7V)
But both solution require that I make a kind of welding..

I've bought it when it was on exclu at sfr, when I was on vacation... far far away from my house and all the papers, agreement, are approximately at 680km of my house
je l'ai acheté lors de l'exclu SFR, sans prendre de forfait d'ailleurs, ils m'ont juste donnés une sim avec 1€ de crédit je l'ai désimlocké avec un outils trouvé sur le forum du galaxy S, bref, de toute façon la paperasse est restée chez ma grand mère où je vais pendant les vacances, et j'y retourne pas avant 2 mois..
Je préfère essayer de le reparer moi meme, pour l'instant je le laisse charger pour voir, rien ne s'affiche sur l'écran, la batterie doit repartir

After lots of fighting with OnePlus about this, I finally managed to get my hands on the MSMDownloadTool and drivers for the Sprint variant of the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.
USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
To be honest, I was EXTREMELY tired while writing this, and need to get some sleep.
There are other posts explaining how to use this tool. I will update this thread with links to them when I have time.

Know now that I am not posting this as an instructable for those that do not understand the sensitivity of the files that can be pulled through this method.
If you don't know how to accomplish any of the steps, you probably shouldn't be doing this. If you do pull partitions from your phone, do not share them with anybody you can not trust. Do not post them here, or anywhere for that matter.
If you are asked to help by providing partitions, do your research. Are they recognized developers? Have they helped other people? If you feel they can be trusted, then it is okay to share them.
1)Download MSMDownloadTool rar file
2)Start MSMDownloadTool with Admin Privileges
3)When MSMDownloadTool starts, hit F8
4)A screen with partitions will pop up
Select partitions you would like to pull, and input ”oneplus" as password.
Hit ok
You will notice now that a new "Read Back" button has appeared. DO NOT HIT IT YET!
5)Boot phone into EDL:
There are two methods of doing this with the OP7 Pro 5G.
1: ADB REBOOT EDL
2: Shut phone down with no USB plugged in, hold both vol up and vol down, then insert USB cable
6)AS SOON AS YOU SEE YOUR PHONE APPEAR IN THE TABLE, HIT "Enum" BUTTON, SELECT YOUR PHONE IN THE TABLE AND HIT "Read Back".
Note: If your phone disconnects before you have the chance to hit "Read Back" start back at step 5. Once Sahara starts reading, the phone will stay connected.
7)WAIT....
8)Once complete, your files can be found in the root of your system partition (The easiest way to collect them is to sort by "Date Modified")
9)Give yourself a tap on the back. BUT DON'T FORGET, there is sensitive information in the partitions.

Yes and No. Currently there is no Rom to crossflash to the Sprint OP7 Pro. As of right now, it is just a way to recover from a brick for devs.

So none on the currently available Android 10 updates are compatible with the Sprint version? I wouldn't care if I lost 5G, it's not available in my area.

Not currently, unfortunately. Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure they patch the global ROM to work on T-Mobile devices. So, if that is indeed the case, we'd need to do the same to get it to work on Sprint, however that may work. People such as myself are looking into ways of remaining on stock ROM and unlocking the bootloader so you could retain 5G and all Sprint features. I worry that moving to Global would effect more than just 5G, since Sprint is a CDMA carrier, with things such as VoLTE/VoWiFi. I could be very wrong on this though, it's just baseless speculation. We won't know till we try!

How do you actually use this .rar file in the msmdownload tool? The file cannot be extracted, says it is damaged? I've tried downloading a few times with no luck

What are the steps to unbricking? Just plug in and press start? I'm about to try converting to EU and if it somehow messes up I don't want to be stuck. Being a noob with flashing sucks

Status bar problem
So installed your rom on my g965f dual sim and for some reason the clock and battery icon is too close to the corners of the edges and I tried status bar padding apps to see if I could move it but that didn't work so I was wondering if anyone else is having problems with clock and battery icon being too close to corners. By the way the rom works great its just the clock and battery icon being too close to the corners for some reason its fine when I pull down to see the quick panel but then it goes back into the corners when I swipe it back up

The OP is badly spelt, misleading and not very detailed. Reporting this thread to mods, as I have a smart eye and know what i'm looking for to spot a fake without even having to flash this waste.

hola, mi terminal es un A305G y se instala muy bien sin ningún error, pero al momento de iniciar el sistema al finalizar la instalación, se reinicia en el Recovery y nuca inicia el celular como debe de ser, ya descargue varias veces la ROM e incluso cambie de tarjetas SD pero sigue igual, solo pasa con tu ROM por que con las demás no.

it's weird only you and another user had a problem with the rom my testers and other users didn't report those problems make sure you have the latest twrp
I am done with this rom, Downloaded it from both pc & mobile, flashed it few times with twrp(3.4.0.0) but after flashing, it goes straight to the twrp rather than opening the rom.
a305gn reboots to recovery everytime.

I am both under the XEF rom but still with the BOG csc. Which is strange besides because I feel that it will block the OTA. A solution ? Should reflash the firmware bog not cause any concern?

I have specifically written this for S21 Ultra. It is what I'm using. You just pick whatever firmware you need. Me and the other users of S21 Ultra on the other thread wanted to enable the native call recording feature in S21 Ultra and the Indonesian firmware had it and this is why I was explaining how to flash it.
Just read the instructions carefully and you could apply it for any Samsung firmware and it will not void warranty as it is an official firmware from Samsung.

I've done this already few time with French firmware, where on your protocole you're supposed to change the CSC? I'm still keeping the german CSC.

I'm not sure what you mean. But before all that are you using an Exynos or Snapdragon model? this is only for Exynos.
Try the Indonesian firmware. Honestly it is pretty much the same except of the Samsung pay app which shows options to add Indonesian pay cards and whatnot. Other than that it's the same in every way + native call recording.
I highly suggest to use the CSC file and not the home_csc file, this will format your phone and you will lose your data. But it will make sure that it will stick. Be sure to use all the files as I indicated in the post. If you don't want to lose your data DO NOT use the CSC file and use the home_csc.
Edit: yes DFU is download mode.

What I want is to be able to change the CSC region to France and not Germany to be able to have access to Samsung Pay France because righ now I'm stuck with Samsung Pay Germany.

Oh then just download the firmware and unzip it and use the same method. Use all the files as I have explained and it should work right away.
I suggest you try 3 ways.
Try way 1: use all the files BL, AP, CP and HOME_CSC. When it reboots see if the CSC was changed or not. If it didn't, try way 2
Way 2: the same way but remove the SIM card until full boot and check CSC. If it didn't change. No hope but way 3.
Way 3: use all the files BL, AP, CP and CSC. This will format your phone. IMO, there is no way this will not work.

yep, pour passé en XEF j'ai activé le unlock OEM dans le mode dev, ensuite j'ai flashé avec odin, du coup je suis en XEF, mais bon BTU est plus rapide pour les updates

Oui et tu prends le XEF qui est France débloqué, par contre enlever le oem fait un factory reset et quand tu flashera les prochaine fois utilise home_csc si tu comptes garder tes données

You are already on Global rom, there is no difference between Orange and Global. I used both and can say that is a same rom. Just go to settings/my device/miui version/check for updates click on check for updates and you should update on 12.0.4.0

When you unpack files you will have that file.
There is a lot procedure before you can click this file.
To unlock , you need to follow also a lot of procedure , like unlocking developer options and turn on OEM unlocking and so on so please be patient and do a research on how to ...unlock , install and so on

Ho avuto gli stessi problemi di Pikaone 41 col MI 11 con MIUI Orange V.12.0.4.0.RKBEUOR Poichè non funzionava Google Pay (mancanza di certificato plai protect), ho bloccato il Bootloader, è risultato: il MI11 è murato. Entra in Recovery e in fastboot. Ma nulla più.
Ho letto che l'unica soluzione sarebbe il ripristo della ROM tramite MI flash tool che però mi chiede la 12.0.4.0 in versione Recovery che è praticamente introvabile (si trova agevolmente la V12.0.1.0 che il MI flash tool rifiuta in quanto vecchia). Mi potresti aiutare a trovare la MIUI V12.0.4.0 RKBEUOR Recovery? Grazie

I had the same problems as Pikaone 41 with MI 11 with MIUI Orange V.12.0.4.0.RKBEUOR As Google Pay did not work (lack of plai protect certificate), I blocked the Bootloader, it turned out: the MI11 is bricked. Enter Recovery and fastboot. But nothing more.
I read that the only solution would be to restore the ROM via MI flash tool which, however, asks me for the Recovery version 12.0.4.0 which is practically unobtainable (you can easily find the V12.0.1.0 that the MI flash tool refuses as it is old ). Could you help me find the MIUI V12.0.4.0 RKBEUOR Recovery? Thank you

You must trying the engineering rom available here by @Pikaone41
Normally this rom should be falsed with success, after that you should flash rom you want (Glovbal International / EEA) or Custom like Xiaomi.eu/MuiMix

Unfortunately it doesn't work. I tried to flash mi11eng with my flash tool but it doesn't fit. Maybe because the bootloader is blocked and I have neither the developer option nor the usb debugging enabled. From what little I know I believe that in these pendants the only solution is to flash the original rom through Rewcovery of Mi flash tool pro. But I can't find the original MIUI: V12.0.4.0 RKBEUOR European version but Orange. I sincerely hope you can help me. My MI11 does not start: it is in recovery and, if necessary, it goes to Fastboot. But nothing more.

Thanks for the prompt reply, but how can I unlock the phone? I tried with Xiaomi by downloading the program but to unlock the bootloader it asks me to preventively unlock the developer option and the USB debug that I cannot do because my MI 11 is stuck on the recovery screen (I can only go to fastboot).
