Is there any risk in updating Launcher Pro in a Custom ROM.
I just saw that is a newer version but i don't know if i can update it without affecting the the correct operation of the ROM.

I got a Mi3 today and the camera is not working
It takes a photo and the image appears in the little circle to the left of the shoot button.
The problem arises when i click on the camera roll, nothing happens and no images are stored in the gallery.
Android version 4.3 JLS36C
MIUI Version MIUI 4.3.14
Has anyone a solution?

It didnt automatically update. I got 4.4 stable from MIUI and installed it.
Ive just one problem , I had the ability to root the phone in the permissions section of the 4.3 version I had.
Is it possible to root the phone.
I also tried updating to 4.8.22 but am told its apicies file and my phone is cancro. Is there a cancro dev rom available?

China rom has a developer version.
This is a purestock ROM of the official android 7.0 release. Not any modifications or app removals has been made, it also isn't rooted (you can flash SuperSU if you want). This rom has the bootloader, modem, kernel and all the system files from the DPLT build. This is only for G935F! This rom feels extremely smooth and stable.
Before Download please make sure that am not responsible if anything happens to your device.

Tried it with my surface pro 4 but isn't working. Dont have a samsung tv to check it.

Streaming to chromecast is no problem. Tried smart view from the play store?
I'm on marshmallow with twrp, is it ok to flash? no need to flash modem or bootloarder first?

Not needed. Maybe do a factory reset but first try without resetting.

Can this zip be flashed with TWRP? Coz last time I tried flashing MIUI zip through TWRP, it said that there was some compatibility issue between the software i.e. MIUI zip and the hardware, which is my phone redmi 2 1gb Indian retail.

Tbh, nothing excited me. I installed it (previously was on NucleaROM) and while it was downloading I was thinking that I'll be losing my Google Assistant but if the rom is great then it is worth losing it. After using the rom for like 6 hours, I found out only battery life is great, and this rom is really not worth losing the Assistant. So came back to NucleaROM!

Using the Chinese variant of Mi 8 with bootloader locked, fully stock. Waiting for the unlock period. I am on the latest MIUI 10 stable version and want to update to V10.1.2.0.PEACNFI through the built in updater app since I haven't received the OTA yet. It's possible right? It is too early to tell but so far after a few hours, battery is good. However, it would be better to allow a few charge cycles in order determine battery performance.
In this version, the camera has a built-in Night mode.

I have purchased a Redmi 9 power in January and have noticed that the Calendar App doesn't display day and date and displays 16 always.I bought another 9 POWER last month and notice that calendar App is fine on it.

The working phone has Calendar App version 12.0.1.2 .the phone that displays 16 has calendar App version 12.4.6
Is it possible to downgrade this to 12.0.1.2 to see if it will fix the issue?

What version of MIUI do both phones use? Check this in the Settings.
If a newer version of the MIUI is installed on one of the two phones this is the reason.

If your Bootloader is Unlocked, u can try to Flash older MIUI Firmware, but Ultimately, you decide!
