VS920 ICS Leak Dump - LG Revolution

Here is the dump I pulled from the ICS Leak. Could possibly be turned into a flashable zip. Who knows, but im sure many people can use this.
This comes in 3 parts.
Part 1 = Everything but /system/app and /system/frameworks
Part 2 = Includes all of /system/framework and 1/2 of the apps
Part 3 = Rest of the apps and all the apps .odex files
Just copy everything from part 3 into /system/apps from part 2 and you are good.

could you post the lg spectrum boot.img if posible, or the bootclasspath?

Don't have the phone anymore or I would. Sorry.

[THEME] Droid RAZR keyboard (no support)

IMPORTANT: I stopped this project (lost interest, no time, etc.), so therefore I will NOT be supporting anyone and will NOT be answering questions. Thank you.
This is a themed version of the Droid 3/XT860 keyboard.
I can't guarantee any results, anything you do to YOUR phone is YOUR responsibility. Though replacing one app will not brick your phone, you never knowXT862 [Droid 3] Blur Odexed System
Download and unzip XT862_Blur_odexed.zip
If you still have the stock Blur latinIME.apk then just replace that with the new one.
Set correct permissions (rw-r--r--). You're done so reboot.
But, if you did replace the stock keyboard, put the latinIME.apk and latinIME.odex in /system/app/
Then put libjni_latinime.so in /system/lib/
Set correct permissions for all files
Reboot
XT862 [Droid 3] Blur Deodexed System
Download and unzip XT862_Blur_deodexed.zip
If you still have the stock Blur latinIME.apk then just replace that with the new one.
Set correct permissions (rw-r--r--). You're done so reboot.
But, if you did replace the stock keyboard, put the latinIME.apk in /system/app/ and put libjni_latinime.so in /system/lib/
Set correct permissions for all files
Reboot
XT860 [Bell] Blur odexed SystemThis has not been tested
Download and unzip XT860_Blur_odexed.zip
If you still have the stock Blur latinIME.apk then just replace that with the new one.
Set correct permissions (rw-r--r--). You're done so reboot.
But, if you did replace the stock keyboard, put the latinIME.apk and latinIME.odex in /system/app/
Then put libjni_latinime.so in /system/lib/ (<--- I Don't have this lib in the zip, can someone upload it for me?)
Set correct permissions for all files
Reboot
If anyone has a rom based on the Droid 3 [XT862] (MavROM, DarkDroid, Liberty etc.) then follow the XT862 Blur Deodexed directions and replace all three files.
Other variants (XT883, etc.) follow the XT862 directions
If this doesn't work for you, let me know.
Note: These zip files are NOT flashable
And as always, backup your files
It has become apparent that this is not working for many people, and I don't know why because it is working perfectly for me. Anyways, I advise you not to try this unless you have a backup of your original files and if you can get your orig. keyboard back.
This spot is taken......
How to get to work with mav rom??
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App
try this. just rename to latinIME.apk and replace the original, set permissions
Tried it but its not working
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App
I'm on liberty rom and I've replaced the apk for the keyboard with the new one, and set permissions and it didn't work so I also went ahead and pasted the library file too and it still isn't working
What could I be doing wrong?

I'll be looking at this tonight. Hopefully with a solution
has this worked for anyone?
Can't get this to work. Does owner and group need to be root? I changed that also but still nothing. And i can't get my old keyboard back either, so i'm stuck with using the slide out. I'm really a noob at this, but shouldn't the LatinIME show up as a installed app? If it is, how do i add it back?
Im using safestrap version of steeldroid3

I have tried all the different ways in this thread and none of them work for me. Currently I am running dark droid rom. I am going to switch over to steel droid to see if it works on that rom.

Where to get original Gingerbread files?

Droid 4, System version: 6.13.219.XT894.Verizon.en.US
Where would I get/recover the original (system) files for this?
All sbf files can be found here:

Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
Downloaded that (large).
That seems to be all image(s)? For example I wouldn't be able to extract /system/bin/logwrapper from that would I?
You might be looking for a stock rom then. Since ROMbot went down, I don't exactly know where to point you to...

You could try the deodexed ROM found here: http://omniimpact.com/android/roms/myfishbear/?dir=/Moto

0 (zero) folder?

I was looking through my files in a file manager app and I came upon a folder called "0" (zero, or maybe the letter o). I opened it and it contained a whole bunch of folders filled with stuff I had from old ROMs I installed. I was just wondering if it is important or not? Can I delete it?

Not sure about that. I would keep it unless someone that knows more says it's fine to delete. I don't think it's used by holoblur, but it may be used by other ROMs you may want to flash later.
I have that in my stock ROM as well. I don't think there is an easy way to get rid of it.

You have to leave it. Something with the roms causes that to happen and if you delete one it'll delete the other.

make a backup in cwm then first test by renaming and if you do not come across issues then delete
ps this is experimental so you must be prepared flash back to stock and lose a'll your info

I've noticed that as well on my phone, tested a couple of custom Roms like LiquidSmooth before coming back to HoloBlur. For me it was data files/folders from the stock build, was in a folder called "0" in the root of the internal memory. It's old data that I needed so I moved it back to the root directory and overwritten/merged with whatever new folders that were created (since they were fresh/empty folders anyway) and then I deleted the 0 folder.
It's safe to do so, one of custom Roms that was flashed moved all the internal data to that 0 folder during the install.

What ROM did you come from? Usually CyanogenMod makes directories like that. I am running my own customized version of CM and my sdcard is not "/storage/sdcard" but is really "/storage/legacy/0 (or 1 depending on internal or external sdcard)". If you are sure that it is from an old rom than by all means delete it if you don't want it. (Note: I take no responsibility for lost or damaged files)
I always do a system format and data abs cache never had this pop up

Hot Spot fix

Is there a hot spot provisioning fix for kK 4.4.2 as there was for JB 4.2.2 for us folks with unl data? You know where u swap 2 files after rooting. Not really interested in custom rom.

[AT&T S5][NCE]Complete Stock DeOdex Base ROM - Feel Free To Use!

Stock ZIP Compiled From Base TAR Image
Hey! This is the base that I created from the TAR filed that I used to compile my Extreme Debloat ROM.
This base will be available to anyone who wants to use it in their own ROM. Just be sure to give credits as to where you got the base!
NCE-DeOdex-Stock
1: DeOdexed (Anyone using it to make a ROM should know how to make an Odex version.)
2: Rooted
3: Busybox
4: ZipAligned
5: Completely stock out of the box (This means Knox applicationes, OTA updater etc. are all still in the ROM.)
Instructions:
I compiled the zip from the tar file using a few tools and Archikitchen. I am not sure if the updater script/binary that is in the zip will work so I attached the META-INF and boot.img as a zip below as well. DO NOT flash the META-INF & boot.img zip as it will not work.
1: Download ROM.
2: Download META-INF and boot.img zip.
3: If you are going to be flashing the ROM, you also need to download the supersu.zip because the root apk built in the ROM is outdated.
4: Open ROM zip, and open META-INF & boot.img zip and have them side by side.
5: Drag and drop the META-INF folder and the boot.img file from that zip to the ROM zip and replace it.
I am sorry for not including the META folder in the ROM zip. I forgot to do it before I uploaded it and it takes forever to upload 1.4gb on my slow laptop/internet so I will update it when I get time. Then again, if you do not know how to replace the META folder, then maybe you should not be using this base to make ROMS.
Download:
NCE DeOdex Base - ~1.4gb
MD5: 50d654feedfce62efffa687537571612
META-INF & Boot.Img - ~9.1mb

I would be surprised if someone had a way to fix it. No satellites are coming up at all. Every gps app online can't help it seems. I don't know what to do besides send it back under warranty or insurance. Samsung is going down hill. M8 soon? Idk. .....smh
