[Q] Nik's Rebirth blocking certain sites when tethered - HTC Incredible S

Has anyone else found that when using USB tethering with Nik's Rebirth rom there are certain sites blocked. I also found this with his Trinity 4.5. I use Gumtree a lot but can't load the page at all.

Obviously nik doesn't want you looking at porn. Or certain dodgy pages of gumtree.

[TESTERS REQUIRED] Dolby mobile activation app

I've made an app that turns on dolby mobile for any app, not just HTC music. It works on any ROM that gives you the option of dolby mobile when you type in snd3254 in a terminal. It requires root.
I'm also working on an update.zip for other phones to use it

Does it just turn one mode on or can it switch between modes? I.e. Headset or Speaker?

What about SRS ? It's the best to listen to music with while using earphones and Dolby is for Speaker this was i use while using Sense ROMs and misses this with MIUI right now
I will love to test this once the version is available for more phones! I have an HD2 and Motorola Droid I can test it on
re: Dolby Mobile tester
Hi Quinny,

once i can use it on the OG Evo , ill definitely try it out!!!!!
Dolby testers
Hi dev was wondering if u still need testers. Let me know thanks.
Looks really cool.
I'm gonna test it, you can count on me.
Sure!
Sure, ill give it a go.
I listen to about 3 hours of music on my phone every day and im always interested in new Software!
I'm on Desire S, if you need for testing
ill try it for tmoible sgs 2 if possible
Is it available for HTC sensation (android revolution 3.6.5)? If yes then I can assist with testing.
I have a HTC EVO 3D infected with Virus Eternity, would love to test for this phone.
Right guys, I'm home from school
And I've been working on a certain 'put dolby mobile on any phone, not just desire HD' zip
In the words of Mr. S Gorse,
"Last one to stand up..."
"...is not the way we will be choosing people"
First 4 to PM me the word 'dolbynow' can be beta testers
It's the same 4 as on the other thread by the way

Delay making me mad...

One and half month back I was new to xda and now I have tried 5-6 godamn famous roms such as nik project, ARHD, nik jb Roms, UKB latest, on my phone, flashed new radios, tried all relevant kernels...and guess what I have finally gone back to stock RUU recently...so guys can I try anything new Rom till the time our great developers come up with new RoMs?
I am getting so impatient that I don't stick to a new Rom more than a day or two as I always move to a better ROM...I wish we cld have a stable jb rom.... I am sure I vl stick to that for a longer time.....

a what?
Mate, you can't expect devs to keep getting updates and new roms out to you.
You should learn to appreciate these things as we have
Developers do all this for free, in their spare time. I know that is said sooooooooo many times but it is true.
Such quality is on the way, in ROMs like Venom Viper and Project X transformer. be patient buddy

I in no way did anything to help make this, but wanted to share because it works awesome on the vivid. Just download the zip file and flash in recovery.

You know theres already a thread about this (which links to the original thread)..like 4 threads down from this one?
But there's no easy link, and this link is for the updated and final version. I figure I'd cut to the chase and actually deliver a link instead of a link to a video...

There are no visible links when viewing from the mobile app. I haven't come across a post yet in the mobile app that references a link but doesn't show it' so I assumed there were none. So, sorry about that. I just never use the website.

No link, only a play symbol that directs to a broken you tube link. And that screen shot was taken after clicking on the link above this one in the mobile app.
So I don't know why my xda app isn't showing them.... Again, sorry!

great
november confirmed -__-
They didn't say for Sprint. They said global.. the international One has 4.2.2 already. My take from that rep is that HTC will look in to a possible 4.3 update for the device in general. If it's worth it then they will do it; otherwise, Key Lime Pie w/Sense would be the next update from HTC

Didn't HTC already release 4.2.2 for the one, but we are just waiting on the update release from Sprint?

The clear text version of that statement is, "Google released a new base and we are probably going to use it for our phones."
Which is something like a no-brainer.

Pretty much. In fact, this is the line that HTC gave a while back when 4.3 was just rolling out. It's pretty boilerplate stuff.
