I haven't downloaded your Rom to check but if you're including my kernel you also should be using all of the kernel install scripts. USB charging should be working fine though. Maybe turn on fast charging?

But Failed。In our country,The other user said flash your complete kernel package will be fine. But some of them said still not working。 I'm confused。

I tried this rom and have to say it is pretty good. I love that you have the sense 4 theme on it.
One possible issue: I used the kozmikkernel in the aroma installer and did notice one random reboot so far but other then that its a good ROM.

Im using the vivid can i flash this rom...sorry for the bad question...htc is always so confusing to me....just so use to samsung...
Not to bad, its pretty quick and has the wonderful stock look. Though stock isnt always my fav., this is great for anyone looking for a stable fast build.
FYI:
Just a tip. After trying this ROM, it can be a pain to flash a new one. I think because its 'stock' it has a secured boot.img or something. So, when I went to flash another ROM, it failed at the flashing the new boot (failing with this error: assert failed: write_raw_image("/tmp/newboot.img", "boot")). Doing some research I found this out, and the solution is to flash another ROM (or kernel) as I did because a simple kernel replace didnt work for me. The ROM that did is the elegancia 2.5.0. After flashing the ROM, I booted it, then booted back into recovery and flashed new ROM free of error.

More information? Like, are you S-ON? If so, you need to do the extra set of instructions of doing fastboot flash boot.img (something like that), after flashing the ROM. Otherwise it will just loop (fail).
If you are S-OFF, make sure to wipe everything in the wipe menu (like dalvik cache, cache, boot, system and data). Try a different SD card as well (sometimes old files can make things go weird). Then do wipe in the aroma installer too. It should now work.
I had no problems installing either ROMS on OP. Although just a BUG for Velocity ROM: I get hot reboots when using the GPS. Nothing major, but if you need GPS, careful. GREAT ROM otherwise though, solid.

Pirateghost and I have been working on these....couple different versions for different tastes....Another beta coming at you,this one is just stock tweaked everything...no ciq anywhere in the rom....Have to clean up the xml....boot img is included for you to flash first then load rom....If does not boot...use this kernel...also is cleaned of ciq. I use this one personally...Ive not warmed up to the 3.5ui yet....

I do it this way others may do it a different way....
1. After flashing boot img stay in the recovery
2. Scroll down to mounts and storage (if you have not copied rom to storage follow steps 3-6)
3. Scroll down to mount USB storage
4. Plug in phone storage should pop up
5. Copy and paste holiday_release.zip to storage
6. Once copied to storage unmount storage
7.Go Back to main menu of recovery
8. Install zip from sdcard
9. Choose zip from sdcard
10. Install holiday_released.zip

no this is a psuedo beta...all the tweaks as far as ui will come later...this is a base stock at&t tweaked nicely....as i said we have to fix the xml in this one [email protected] icons being on pages when you scroll through the carousel ....but thatll happen tomorrow after the hangovers are gone...

I'm not in a LTE area yet, so had to load up the other APN settings.
SMS are good too go.
GPS (Google maps) is excellent (fast and dead on)
Bluetooth also good to go.
No issues to report
Im not in an lte area either,no apn's needed...need to have your sim switched and your data plan to an lte plan...if theres connection issues....i had no data because of plan not being switched over....

Thanks - they had the LTE on the other phone.
Also got set up for the Visual Voice.

this is a stock rom,only tweaked,removed bloatware and de ciq'd...shouldnt be an issue

Oh, also the app News is FCing (process com.htc.googlereader)
also the HTC Wifi Hotspot still asks for AT&T tether plan, my guess is they put a modded at&t version in the stock ROM. It may need to be swapped out with a HTC Raider Wifi Hotspot to work (this is my guess)

This is crazy smooth way smoother than 3.0 its crazy I installed ext 4 so u should do that . I underclocked ans its still very fast

cant seem to flash either this ROM or the Anthem ROM 3.3 . Followed all the instructions to the letter. CWM is updated to a fairly recent one, if not the latest. ROM doesnt boot, keeps going into recovery.
Oh damn, promised myself no more ROM flashing. But gotta try this out.

Since you are using CWM be sure to wipe all the usual suspects including /boot and /system. If for some reason it still does not work, then use the VirusROM Superwipe found in Optional DL of the Anthem thread. I'll move the DL to this thread as well.

Virtuous Inquisition is a an ICS (4.0.3) Senseless ROM, meaning essentially all Sense components have been removed in favor of their AOSP counterparts. Everything except the camera app has been replaced. Any work, such as mods or fixes, you would like to contribute would be gladly accepted. The project has one goal, to provide a ROM which is as close-to-AOSP-ICS as possible.

Sense has effectively been removed. Some components may be coming back (such as the camera and music player), as they are better than their AOSP counterparts. I'll provide an option for purists who want AOSP-only-no-matter-what.
Remaining HTC framework beautifully themed to match ICS by shnizlon.
Faux005 Holiday Kernel
Pre-rooted with the latest version of Superuser and modified ramdisk to allow adb remount, mock locations, etc.
IO optimizations including the use of ext4 with writeback journaling for all mounts and larger read-ahead buffer for improved sdcard performance.
Automated battery calibration. Just plug your phone in after a wipe and charge it to full (preferably overnight), then let our script do the rest.
Over the air updates via Goo Manager.

Please excuse my ignorance but if flashing this on a non-s-off vivid do I just need to extract the boot.IMG and flash that via fastboot then flash the Rom in recovery? Thanks in advance for useful and constructive answers!

Noticing the contact look up bug. Typing a persons name in the "to" field of a text message will not bring them up correctly. The dialer does work however.

Rom For: HTC Sensation XL
I flash at my phone(work),and it was not need to s-off
Bugs:
Camera don't taking photo while recording.
Speaker shutting down while speaking if sec call ariving or sms.
Venom Tweaks had something cant use (Venom Tweaks 98% work)
Some audio can't use (beats audio can use)
Venom Tweaks Sony Xloud can't use

Short Bench:179-190ms(lower is faster)
Long Bench:210-250ms(lower is faster)
Native Benach:300-380ms(lower is faster)
A lot of Sense 4 rom at Long Bench test get 380ms UP(lower is faster)

this rom was not Z9 or z10,You can see sense widget of different sizes and also that rom Z9 made for (800x480)
Z9 widget Sense 4 Clock like Rectangle,this rom is like Square,Sense are different.
this rom is (1280X720) to 800x480 so this rom Are different.
and [Venom Tweaks] had something different.

Well i downloaded the rom and i do t think its the real venom i dod not try it on phobe but opened it up and i know the guys and now there tweaks build.prop is empty no way thats a real venom anuways i will be asking them if they now about this....

Guarantee your Hboot is s-off and the hboot was 1.25.0004.
- wipe data
- flash viper rom
- reboot

hboot is s-off but was 1.28 and now 6.+++
should fine as once rooted can do voldfstab

Your hboot is 1.28 with s-off.IF you can flash LTX Kernel,You will have 99% to Success to flash.
IF:
Possible chances it won't boot from first try, just adb reboot or remove battery and boot again.
Note: It get's past HTC Logo, if it stucks there, something else is the problem

it rebooted into recovery after htc logo 2x. removed battery and reboot.........no joy again keeps reboot into recovery

cant see how the kernel will stop it from booting but yea it wont boot just keeps rebooting into recovery! tried all latex kernels and nothing works! guess it need 1.25 hboot or patched s-off 1.25 hboot to boot as not here

ok sure
just flash latex boot.img via fastboot then went into recovery and flashed rom to see if the zip not flashing boot.img during flash!
rebooting soon and will see if that boots
edit: that didnt work as back into recovery! its defo the kernel or boot.img that the issue as its just not booting off that included kernel. tried 1.5 as well and nothing

A. Probably you wiped your internal storage with twrp recovery in the past. Install Terminal Emulator program out of Google play. Execute this command

I have waited the boot for 10min and it is success.
You could put it on table and take a cup of coffee or take a bath

all is running well, but i have no root access. is root on lollipop available?
tried to flash the rom n reflash boot.img but stuck at booting screen even after 10-15minutes.

Did you use recovery provided in OP , also flash with that and then boot.img in fastboot .... Then hoot will take around 15 minutes.. Also be on latest firmware

ya. flashed under twrp 2.8.4.0 n tried boot.img. perhaps need try couple times. let me test again.
EDIT: successfully bootup within 5minutes without reflash boot.img. selecting advanced wipes before installing. thx 4 great rom! hope that lollipop will merge into IC!

Installing from Google play I have no issues.. Bluetooth I'll test right now.
Edit : Bluetooth is working fine
The ROM is pretty good and very smooth. But there are some minor problems that won't affect the daily use.
When I try to open storage in setting, package access helper keeps fc. Also the built in photo app keeps fc as well. Anyway, great work!!

This GPE ROM is smooth and responsive.
Bluetooth (connected to Beats Pill), network, wifi works, no in-call issues, camera works. I don't use my 3g as wifi, so I can not confirm if that works. The one thing I'm missing with Sense is the sound quality when listening to music, But other than that...

Neither do I. Only thing I found broke is wireless hotspot. So I recommend users to be on the latest firmware that came with sense 6 OTA.
