i recently got a galaxy s phone as a gift from korea,
the problem is it's model,
it's model is SHW-M110S
it's korean version of samsung galaxy s I9000

and also if i flash it, will it lock itself?? i mean the unlock feature..

i am new to this forum
i want a little help from you guys as i have very little time for researching.
i have samsung galaxy sii i9100 .
i live in india so its a indian original verson not like the carrers like sprint etc.
i have no upgrade just a simple root.
i want to unroot this phone so that i could upgrade to android 4.0 from samsung and not any other roms.
the problem is that i unroot the device with the one click unroot. but after unrooting the phone it says that flash the phone with the original firmware.
i know or dont kow that i can flash any original firmware to my phone.
my phone firmware starts with XKDW or something like that.
for detail i will post some pic about my phone but my phone is currently unavailable due to low battery.
if you cant provide the perfect answer atleast can you send any links which could brush my knowledge. i am out of this business for more than an year.
also i am going to take that phone to a service center for some technical difficults so i dont want to know them that this phone is/was rooted.

I've got a Ace GT5830D and im trying to change the rom in it. By the way, it's locked by Telus.
I took a look around the forum to find any post about "how to unlock" this version (5830D) but i didn't found any.
Does anybody knows if the tutorials to the other versions (5830i,etc,) works on the ace 5830D?

I did, but theres no other ROM made to put on it. d
Dont remember what i used but i do remember odin and framaroot but cant remember what else i used. I had it unlocked but found NO custom recovery for this fone and actually found 2 custom roms but neither one worked. Had phone rooted and unlocked then flased another program and lost root and locked the bootloader again. Crap, 3 days research down the drain. Challenging yes
but im just gonna keep using my Zenfone 2 with the CyanogenMod 13 Marshmello 6.0 as my main source of moding! stop wasting your time cuz it seems that noOne is working on custom recovery let alone custom ROMS for that old phone the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini SM-G730A. Too bad cuz its a solid phone that i have dragged around the world with me 2 xs. Samsung and AT&T both Suck.
Acually safestrap recovery was succesfully ported to the g730a.

I need some help I have a sm-g800a Samsung galaxy s5 mini from at&t. I wanna get some some custom roms and recovery in it. What do u need to do get around the all the red tape associated with att. What time to I need to spend to get this done. Please help. I wanna upgrade too.
The answer is literally in EVERY release post of a custom rom.
There has to be some way. We can get around this. What about if I flashed the unlocked version's firmware on it?
