I guess many people don't have 5830i....(only Indians have it though as the phone was released only for India..)
So wait for a while...most of the 5830i users ain't rooted and it will take time for the users to find your post. I wonder why Samsung released a different regional version of the phone..it isn't a good concept(for devving atleast! ).
If you have deleted the file by mistake, you can always use Odin to reflash the rom you are in. You can get the firmware file of 5830i from sammobile.com...
Or if you want, I can send the file you want from my s5830 if you want.
IMO...it will take some time for you to get the file..!

Even though we will extract the required file by using
Xplore application
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lonelycatgames.Xplore
Iam porting cm7 for GT-S5360
That file will act as colour fix for that device
I dont know how to extract an .img file
Firmware from sammobile is made of .img files

No. I don't think so...its .tar or .md5.

Can't u use the normal s5830's file?

sigh...noobs the img's are in the tar OR tar.md5 you can extract them with Winrar, 7-zip or pretty much any extractor that supports tarballs(tar file formats).

Mr.n00b-insulter,if you are such a genius, you would know that extracting firmwares of ALL Samsung phones are not possible. For example,S-5830i.Download some firmware from sammobile.com,extract the zip, would love to see how you would extract the firmware and get /system and boot.img

Not for India only...Most of the new Ace's that are being manufactured now are S-5830Is.So,if you buy an Ace now,its more likely a S-5830i rather than S-5830

doesn't work...
superoneclick?
SGA root.zip won't root any other device as there is assert check at start only..
so you will need to change update-script inside upd_1.zip to get it working on SGA+
superoneclick should work

Last resort would be compiling kernel and add autoroot in the ramdisk like the cfroot.

Yes You can, Follow this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1551156 by Rafael. It will Lead You to SplitFUS (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1611225) with which you can split your single file into three files and then flash with Odin v1.84. Its very simple once you read all the instructions carefully. I'v successfully used SplitFUS on Ubuntu Linux, but there is also a windows version. Give it a try :good: or as dominic79 suggested, save your self some time and download from the already available multipackage firmware
thanks

You sure that the ROM is in a .rar file? Maybe you have the wrong file, because I think this link for the ROM and it isn't compressed in a .rar file, it's on a normal .zip.
The link you post is for another version of the rom.
The final edition is in a .rar file... http://www.mediafire.com/?96lczfm20959kgn

Ohh man,
Download that and
Extract that .rar file to your computer, you will get 3-4 files in that. Some are for ics layouts and 1 is for file manager.apk.
copy the apocalypse 09072012.zip into your sd card and flash via cwm...
Ah ok thanks, will give that a try

There is no firmware/csc for Romania on sammobile or anywhere else. I found a Romanian CSC for the 5570 but it's incompattible on 5570i
