Just got a tweet that the phone is now available for pre-order on amazon wireless for $169.99.

Still no options for those of us that want to save money and mitigate risk by purchasing the phone outright for $549.99 though.
Pre-Ordered on htc.letstalk.com for $149.99, no tax, free shipping.
I just pre-ordered at Lets talk.com for 149.99 plus I will be trading my HTC Tilt2 which has a trade-in value of $75.30 to be also discounted from my purchase. I can't wait to receive this Freaken monster. Its early Christmas for me.
I don't understand why none of these sites will let me pay full price for the phone.
There is no way that I am going to add $20 a month to my monthly bill, be in a contract, and add over $100 to my total ownership costs.

Because they are in business to make money and they only make money from T-mobile if you get a contract and add services. htc makes the money selling just the phone. Either buy it from them or wait until it launches and get it at a corporate store.

Mine only goes up by $5 a month, ~60 overall but the savings are only about 5, so a permanent monthly loss for the convenience of not having to go to the store and being guaranteeing a device, no thank you.
if you go to letstalk.com and choose phones on the left side of the page you will find the device for pre-order for $549.99
it says: "Pre-Order Available to ship on 10/28/2010"

I took more benefit out of it because I canceled AT&T and signed up for new T-mobile contract. Can anyone give some pros and cons on T-mobile service? I was willing to take T-mobile for a test drive only for the HD7. The frustration of not being able to have the HD2 on AT&T is also my motivation.
Yes. Wirefly lists the phone for 529.99 without contract. You have to select "replacement device" to see the price off contract....
I use TMO in NYC and have no problems....to above poster.

When I go to Letstalk I can only find the phone for $299 but another thing that is funny when you click on the specs for the HD7 it shows that is supports

Finally after over an hour on the phone, I was able to get htc.letstalk.com to sell me the HD7 outright without a plan for $549.99.
I also got confirmation from 3 different representatives that the phone will be in stock on October 29th (this friday) and that my phone would ship out that same day via FedEx 2 day shopping.
Hopefully that all holds true and I will be enjoying my new phone early next week.

Pre-Ordered my HD7 via the LTC
I just ordered mine via the website itself. The first time around I did not get the option to get it contract free... But I am not sure what I did, but I suddenly saw the option to get it at full price. It also stated on the webpage that it would ship by Oct 29th. So I placed my order right away.
Hope this info helps anyone else who is interested. Of course, I was asked to call up between 9 - 11 along with my order # to validate carrier information before they proceed with the order.

Wirefly says ship date is Nov 8. Also on Letstalk site it says phone is "available" to ship on the 30th of Oct....Im reading that as not a definite ship date.
And as a side note here...I just googled reviews for Wirefly and there are some pretty bad reviews out there for them....Has anyone here used them?..Are they reliable?

Hate to say but I think the ship/ projected delivery date they give after you order is generic. Ordered mine two days ago. Said it would ship yesterday and deliver today (I paid for overnight ) yet it still says picking item as of now. When I originally ordered the site said pre orders ship by the 28th. So I don't know when they plan to ship.

I ordered two, on two different cards.
I got an e-mail notification for each.
However, when going under the Google Play store, one has the status 'Shipping estimate: November 15, 2012' and the other just says 'Complete'. Even though I ordered the one that says 'complete' first. When I go to Google Wallet, it has both of them under pending. They should both ship at the same time, correct?
I got a confirmation about half an hour after ordering, but it's been about 11 hours and still no shipping confirmation..
Got it a couple of hours late.
I got an order confirmation within 20-25 minutes after ordering. My order was placed at 11:35:08 EST. Status still sitting at Shipping estimate: November 15, 2012.

Never got the sale email, but I checked around 11:35AM and saw they were on sale. After a few attempts on my laptop, I pulled my phone out and completed the checkout there. I think Google Wallet was actually what was causing the issue for me at least, because as soon as I went to the mobile version of checkout, it went through no problem.
Got my order confirmation about 45 nerve-wracking minutes later as I was second-guessing whether it went through on my phone or not. :silly:

Got an email about 2 hours ago, contacted Google to see how long it would take to ship, I got a reply in 30 seconds stating that the order will ship on the evening of the 15th!!!! YES!

I have not got my confirmation email yet but on my Walletit says pending and estimated shipping November 15th so I think I'm good.
I checked my CC this morning and Motorola pulled my money already. Normally when its a pre-order I though the charge was pending until they actually ship the product to you. Anyone else order from Motorola.com?

With all the buzz about shipping, I remembered that all my pre-orders were shipped by UPS. I have an account with UPS and get notified if a shipment gets ordered for my address. Note that it is a notification of shipping ready and not shipped. I then get notifications when it actually ships. With the Note 7, I knew my order was shipping before I got an email...If you want to know if your device has a shipping label, sign up and install the app...If see orders that I have coming on Fri. And Sat. You can do the same with FedEx, I believe. If it is not on there, though, it isn't shipping yet.
It still doesn't guarantee the shipping time...it can only estimate but they do give you updates. I watched previous orders go State to State and then sit for a whole day before making it to my house.
You can even schedule the rough time to delivery the package...check it out.
I placed my order for the promotional charger/SD card on 9/5, the day I received my new Note 8 from Verizon. Order status showed "Shipping the week of 9/25." A week or so later, that updated to "Shipping the week of 10/2."
Sometime within the last few days, though (I haven't been checking every day), the status changed to "Shipping in 6 to 8 weeks." Is this true for everyone that ordered a carrier-branded phone?
It's a bit disappointing; I would have figured that being close to the head of the line on the promotion order would've given me a fairly predictable delivery date.
I read that another person who also got that package saw similar lead out times for shipping.
He called/contacted a Sammy rep and they stated the warehouse were out of SD cards, hence the reason for the delay.

They've apparently only been giving away 256GB cards so far ... and the promotion was for a 128GB card. Perhaps this is a sign that they'll be fulfilling all of the promotional orders with 256GB cards?
Maybe they have more orders than expected and run out and as far as I remember most promotions from past always stated allow 6-8 weeks for delivery and end up being 3-4. I didn't even check status of mine and I'm kind of jealous of lucky few who got 256GB instead, but it is after all free giveaway and I think not available outside US.

When I submitted my request for the promotion, I was approved within a few seconds and the status on the order, as shown in the Shop Samsung app, indicated the week of 9/25 for shipping.
Now it says 4-6 weeks ... so which was the "original?"

I'm pretty sure the "original" I got directly from Samsung is more "original" than the one you got from Verizon ...

Maybe a shortage on the memory card.
One of you should simply call in and ask samsung why the added delay. As I mentioned , someone stated they died just that and was told it was a back order on the Sd card.

Ordered mine August 29th got my unlocked note 8 and the wireless charger on 12th but no SD card. Originally it said my phone wouldn’t ship till the week of the 25th , can’t find a ship date on my sdcard . Would be nice if it was a 256GB ?
When did everybody's date show up(to ship out)? My status shows approved and the day I did it(9-14-17) but nothing else

I'm in the same boat. Ordered on the 29th. Got both phone and wireless charger on the 12th. Ship date showed the 25th. Memory card still shows as preorder on Samsungs order screen. I'll get it when I get it. Just happy I got the phone.
On Samsung.com under My Offers, just shows mine as "Pending".

Where do you see "my offers" on the Samsung Canada web page? I see the Note 8 offer and it says that it has expired. It does not show any status update?
