Just a heads-up that tpu-cases.com is accepting pre-orders for their matte black and matte smoked cases for our Bionics with the extended battery covers. Expected shipping date is between the 27th & 28th October. Yes,... Tomorrow or Friday. It is $12.90. Just got done ordering mine.

Just got mine and have to say this is a nice case with at a great price. It looks good and offers a lot of protection. All ports etc are available and it adds minimal bulk, fits very snug. I'd take a pic but my phone's my only camera! Highly recommend. Again, I appreciate tpu-cases.com updating us in a different thread. More companies should be as pro-active as them!

Just received mine after ordering mid-week. Fits great and I am jonesing to have some actual battery life now. It's not Otterbox-quality coverage, but good enough for office use.
Mine came today after ordering Wednesday. Fits nicely, smooth not sticky, all ports and buttons are open. Very nice case, well worth the $12.90.

Ordered Thursday, received Monday.
Ordered day before they started shipping any, got three days later, so actually two days.
Love the case no issues with either the desktop or the car docks.
Does this fit over the wireless charging back plate?

It may work, but I wouldn't spend $40 plus shipping for a case that isn't made for the N7.

they sell the same (looks the same at least) case at my local staples....take in your nexus and try it out and see if it really is worth $40.....the one at staples was $33 i think

No it won't work. I took mine in and it wasn't a good fit.
I ended up getting one from Bestbuy this weekend. Still spent $40, but it fits perfect and looks good.

Similar to this, which i have purchased but not yet received. I almost think I might like mine a tad better, dues to the hand strap. But we'll see when it comes in.

Friend showed me this earlier. There are just too many similar cases out right now but this looks to be the most inexpensive. If you guys are interested, I'd order before the price goes up again.
I had no plans to get a case (unless there eventually came a good one with keyboard), but I really like the look of this one for the price and the hand strap. I like to sit in bed for a a while before bed and play with it. That might come in real handy lol

I was going to get this case over another one because yesterday it was only 4.99. Instead, I just bought the exact same case with a handstrap from YooMee on Amazon for 7.99... go find that one instead of this one.

It's a kindle fire thats in the picture..look at the speakers and bezel. A great deal, if its actually meant for the N7

From what I had read, this is a pre-order, so they probably haven't taken a picture with the Nexus 7 yet.
I have attempted to make contact with the maker to see if I can get a more recent photo with the N7 instead of the Kindle Fire.
They have not responded yet.

Rev, please keep us posted. Looks like a good non-bulky case.
They keep changing the price... I pre-ordered that exact case when it was $4.99+ free shipping and expected to ship on August 3rd. The other day it was $8.99 and $5 shipping, and now it's $6.95+ $5 shipping and not expected to ship until August 15th! I might have to cancel the order though, I can't wait that long to get a case.
Just got an email saying that it shipped. If anyone here is interested, I can do a quick review when it arrives...

Surprisingly, mine came last week. I haven't had a chance to do any sort of review (urghh college!!) but I'll be looking forward to your review. I agree, it's definitely worth the money.
I'm such a sucker for reviews... will wait to make a decision on a few diff cases until I see some from you guys, thanks!!

I have this argument all of the time with a friend of mine.
I got the Blurex brand version of this on Amazon. At the time it was $7.26 shipped. Differences are stylus loop, flap strap and hand strap.

I had this last week in my cart, asked Alex at blurex about color options, he said any color I like as long as it's black. Went to make the buy and there suddenly weren't any in stock. Alex sends me another note telling me he took them off because of the sleep/wake issues when folding the cover back. Today checked again and it was back in stock but at double the price..
Much appreciated. Just ordered. $5 off, hard to say no when it cost $12 shipped int he first place. Probably not my final case, but a good standby till the case makers get in their groove.

Just jumped on the "I ordered one" wagon as well.
By the looks of the screenshot, it looks like it's notched out to pivot in place when angling in landscape mode. I hope this is the case with the actual unit. Some quick reviews I looked at suggested instead of it being notched out that it actually had velcro on it. I can't say I'm a huge fan of velcro, since continual usage would of course wear it out. At any rate, a steal for the price, but let's hope for a little more while we're at it. :good:

I had the same Blurex case for my Transformer Prime and it was definitely notched with no velcro.

Just ordered one, looks like everything is exposed (unlike some cases). As long as it folds back 180 degrees and is comfortable to hold, I'll be happy.
