help with deodexing gratiend 0.61 rom

i'm really enjoying the new gratiend 0.61 rom, works really great. but i have a little problem with the orientation of the hebrew langugae.
in hebrew we write from right to left so the numbers in the rom get mixed up and all of the hebrew text are alligned to the left instead to the right.
in previous versions i fixed it myself by fixing the framework.jar file that contained the classes.dex file.
in this version they used odex files and so BlaY0 suggested me to deodex all of the framework files.
the problem is that i'm a little new to phone hacking and everywere i look deodexing described as a long tiring procedure and everyone says it would just be better to use another rom, i thing i wouldn't like to do.
is there an easier way to do this or someone who could do it for me?
i would really appreciate any help on the matter.
edit:
i think i miss understood BlaY0, he said something about uploading it to a kitchen and deodex?
sorry for the very very noobish question, but what is the kitchen?
This is actually a Q for general discussion...
Kitchen is:

[Q] Developers ... Inquire about cooking rom

Developers ... Inquire about cooking rom
Hello all!
I have several questions about cooking
- I want the software used for cooking
- I want an explanation of the cooking
- I want the program to modify the programs Android apk
- I want an explanation of the work and bootanimation.zip amendment to the Theme and modify the file framework-res.apk
I am waiting for your answers and thank you in advance .....
where are you ?????!!!
I need help immediately please ....!!!!
I think people people felt that your tone was a bit brusque and demanding, and that you were requesting far too much from strangers on a volunteer forum. In English using WANT like that is a bit rude, and saying "thanks in advance" at the end doesn't help much.
If you are serious about learning how to cook ROMs, no one can walk you through some magic formula step by step. You say you need immediate help, but the process of learning can't be rushed. You need to educate yourself. Google is your friend, use it and read and learn. Then start to experiment for yourself. There is no other good way to do it.
Good luck.

Thank you for such wonderful support
You are one of the biggest forums on the development did not answer at all but silly words
Greetings to you all
Dear Friend what you request does not have any answer because it is not a step by step process or can not be included in a post or maybe two.no one has the time to answer it either.
but just for the beggining you may start with apktool or smali / baksmali to learn how to compile and decompile apk files and jar files. these are the key files for now you may google it to proceed. sure it will take a few weeks at least to learn some about these keywords and their functions

Decompiling or recompiling problem [Please help]

There are some apks that when I decompile and recompile them, they don't work, even if I decompile and and then without changing anything recompile them again, they don't work. I think the person who made those kind of apps does something so others can't change their apps and publish them under their own name, which is a good thing and I respect that, but sometimes there is an app which is really cool but there are some problems like bad images which need to be changed.
I'm changing some picture in Handcent SMS which is a free app, but after decompiling I can not install it.
I also asked the owner for his help, and I thought I ask you guys, too.
Has anyone ever had any experience like this?
It would be great if someone could help.
Thanks in advance.
Hi
Well if these apk's u mention are not grabbed from the /system/app folder you'll need to sign them every time you edit them.

Yeah, I know. I always sign the apks which are not from /system/app, and they work just fine but in this case there is something wrong.
My guess is they have a protection agains tampering.

Did you have a look there ? ( v-b-n thread)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2233991
Cheers.
Yeah I looked at that, and i can decompile the apk, but i get errors, im thinking it might have something to do with, proprietary framework files i need, which i don't have. And thanks Mike1986, I will go on your IRC now.
Can anyone do me a huge favour, could someone please remove the clock and the battery from the statusbar. Looking at this Remove Clock it guides people through on how to do it, I cant as I seem to be unable too, can anyone help.
This isnt asking for help, this is asking for someone to do it for you which is different. If you dont wanna understand the process, you probably shouldnt be asking for the mod
Talk to mike on IRC to begin with
Make sure you install the framework files for the One (pull it from /system/framework) to apktool and THEN try decompiling it
Hi try this one.
Dont work mate, but thanks anyways.
