This a Development Forum - Galaxy S II I9100G Android Development

This forum is meant for development of roms/kernels/tweaks for the I9100G. It is NOT meant for questions or requesting assistance. Simple way to see this if you are not releasing something (of the 3 things I mentioned before) it doesn't belong here. It does not matter that your question or topic is I9100G relevant it belongs in Q&A, General, Accessories or Themes and Apps and specify it is for i9100G. Any threads that do not belong here will be moved, locked or deleted and may lead to infractions. So please post in the correct forums
Cheers

[NOTICE] If YOU DID NOT CREATE "it" THEN IT DOESN'T BELONG IN DEVELOPMENT

NOTICE: If You did not create the ROM, KERNEL, FIX, MOD, APP, HACK, GUIDE, or if it's not a SOURCE CODE then it should go to Galaxy Note General as it doesn't belong in Development.
If your thread can be phrased as a question, it DEFINITELY doesn't belong in Development either - it belongs in Q&A. If you post it in Development it will be moved/closed and you may get an infraction or a ban.
There is only 1 exception, stock ROMs are allowed, as long as the link does not require a registration to download the ROM.
Follow the FORUM RULES and the XDA MANTRA and we'll all get along and enjoy this community!

Too many questions in Development
I am finding too many questions here in development. DO NOT post your questions here. It doesn't matter that it's development related, root related, etc. questions do not belong here. Your question will be moved to General and infractions may be made against your account.

Questions and Requests

Hey guys
I have moved some Questions, as well as some Requests to the Q&A section.
Please note, all Questions and also Requests should go into the Q&A section. No matter if they are Themes/Apps/Dev related.
The Themes and Apps section is only for posting Themes/Apps/Mods, just like the dev sections are for dev only
Thanks

MIUI

Is anyone interested in porting MIUI to the Nexus 6?
Wrong section. Unless you ported miui already?
Also, miui is all about violating open source licenses (like the GPL). And stealing work from other sources without any attribution (Or they take it and violate license by not open sourcing it themselves)
I don't think they should be here.
This section is for posting development only. Here's the thread about this already: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3075348
A thread already exists for this topic, http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/help/miui-6-port-n6-t3075348
As @bbedward indicated, this thread definitely doesn't belong in this forum category.
Do not post in the development section unless you have something to develop
Thread moved to Q&A where questions should be asked and answered.
Also, please use search before posting

***Request and question threads belong in Q&A forums***

Hi all!
Please remember that the Themes and Apps forum is for applications, mods and themes releases, not for making requests of any kind or asking questions. That is why we have a Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting section.
Please post new threads with requests or questions in the Q&A section linked above.
Thank You,
Your Moderating Team

Welcome to XDA. Please be aware that we have specific sections for most devices. Further, your question does not belong in a Development Only forum.
If you haven't already, please take a moment to review the Forum Rules, especially:
1. Search before posting.
Use one of our search functions before posting or creating a new thread. Whether you have a question or just something new to share, it's very likely that someone has already asked that question or shared that news.

15. Keep threads / posts on-topic
Whilst a minor amount of off-topic posting may be overlooked, the general rule is that your posts / threads must be relevant to the Forum / thread in which you are posting.
General Forums - For news and announcements relating to your device.
Q&A Help & Troubleshooting Forums - For all question / request threads and posts. If there is no Q&A Help & Troubleshooting forum, use the General Forum of the relevant device
Accessories Forum - For posts related to accessories relevant to the device
Development Forums (ones with the word development in the title) - For Developers to post release threads e.g. ROMs and Kernels including modifications to kernels, bootloaders, ROMs, etc., as well as R&D development discussion threads designed with an end goal
Themes and Apps Forums - For the posting of Themes and / or Apps as well as announcements & discussions including modifications made to Themes and Apps.

Please also read the Forum Etiquette. You can find both along with the New Member Guide linked in my signature.
As a courtesy, we will move your post to the appropriate section for the Galaxy A6.
