Problem is that first time root and after flashing new rom is phone ****ed up. No more rom changes, and conecting usb cabel to kies looks phone name gt s5360

Sorry for little info, rom called zgreed.
I had used search, but my inglish is verry bad, and understanding some things are not as it cold be. For prevented another bad steps i preffer to ask.
Right now thing is that sd card is empti(made wipe data or something- by reading might help) so all bad and help needed

If so just flash original frimware via Odin 1.85/1.84. Use the search bar. Its there for a reason.

ofc 2.1 enclair is damn featureless and ugly interface.

if follow guide properly u wont have much problem in rooting,except if u read jus few words from a particular thread and go for it

Choose your rom and flash with ODIN.

haha what are the chances of all those being typo's
must be really rare, there's hardly anything with a google search.
Your going to have to take it to a service centre(say kies crashed when updating) Your phone model is really rare.
Looks like you wont have it for monday

The only ROM I found was from Poland(Tmobile and Orange) and it works! Here you can find the ROMS : (I cannot post the URL but you find it at tsar3000 site)And I noticed now that a Spanish rom popped up! goog for you! You can flash it with Odin 1.83. It works!!! ahhh i have exactly the same problem but also when i try and flash the files from that site it fails at writing to the nand even if i try to put the f/w on phone instead of pda it fails

Recently I get a SHW-M180S Korean Galaxy TAB. It work like a charm but I need extra features and a good custom rom.
I did a lot of research, even in korean forums, but I can't get much info on how to root and install roms.
- First problem is rooting. I know Froyo 2.2 is easily rooteable but I have an:
Android 2.3.6
Kernel version 2.6.35.7
Build number GINGERBREAD.UC27
Wich is imposibble for me to root. I've tryed SuperOneClickv2.3 and DooMLoRD's Easy Rooting Toolkit with no luck and a few other with the same result. I know for sure it's related to Gingerbread 2.3.6 and didn't find a tool or tutorial on how to root it.
-Second is the rom change. I know that there are a few posts asking for this, but, I didn't find a clear and concise response to:
can I flash a rom for a TAB P1000 to a SHW-M180S???
I hope that some one can answer me or at least guide me in the correct direction because all the info I found about it finish on a dead end. At least for my Gingerbread 2.3.6

I reply my self afer days of digging around and risking my TAB in to a brick.
I've found a rom that is the last one developed for the SHW-M180S (Android 2.3.6 UC27) but rooted.
I have flashed it with Odin 1.85 wich is the one known to work well with this device. Everything goes well and now I have a rooted TAB. Here is the link to download it.

Now I want to go further and have a compatible and working custom recovery but I don't know which can work, so please, I need some one to guide me!!

why not to try CyanogenMod 9.1 for P1000 as long as you have an official Rom you can install it from odin
i'm downloading the Rom you mentioned i'll try P1000 CWM update then try ICS rom

Today i try flash my M180S with P1000XEJQ8 and TAB die, only the light when i try power on.
After flash (use odin) with HOME_M180S.TE23.1719_CL227119_REV03_user_low_ship.tar.md5, it hanging on the "Galaxy tab". I do wipe and try reflash again, but same.

Here is the ICS for your model , i am using it for months i don't have any issue . the only issue is sms capability. but i don't use sim so it works for me .

Absolute nothing to do , just flash it with ODin , kernel contain clockwork recovery. but make sure before and after flash factory reset . and make a backup of your internal storage , mine got formatted so just in case make a backup.

iam not that good in android .. but my galaxy tab ( korean ) with 2.6.35.7 kernel version is down ... it's just flashing ( the flash of camera ) is workng when i connect it to computer ... can any one help me to fix it ?

There is one problem, I have my TAB in stock and this rom have no recovery so I cannot do a backup. But I really wanto to do a backup, so, can I instal clockwork recovery? and wich version do I need to install?

I meant backup your internal storage , photos , videos and other stuff not asked you to make a nandroid backup. you can flash the kernel but it does not make nandroid backup so you just have to deal with it. if you can't factory reset before flashing you can do it after flashing.
I have provided you the original thread link . you should read all the stuff there. i can only help you if something goes wrong. by the way you always can flash stock firmware.

maybe try to mount system before flashing anything next time

First Of All Don't Panic Its An Easy Problem To Solve..
the first thing to do is Download Odin From Here ""http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1551156""
Next Download XXLl1 (lastest Firmware) instead Of XXLA2 you Can Find it From a Thread in A Dev Section
Next Boot Up Your Phone in Odin Mode Or Download Mode by holding vol up and down and power button
Next Put up the modem in phone,pda in pda,,boot in boot ..etc
(Make sure you install the drivers if u didnt odin will NOT RECOGNIZE ur phone
download kies it has the drivers with em)
Then Simply Press Button """START"" :angel:
Then leave the phone for about 30sec it will boot in recovery and wipe data itself and tadaaa DEODEX XXLl1

I did however find a post, and I would like to know if I could flash the CWM via Odin to my GT-S5830D. I don't want to brick my phone.

I want to get a custom rom that is compatible with the GT-S5830D. I cant find any.
Also, can you tell me about a rom that is good in looks, and in speed. I dont want the rom to get slow, I want a fast rom that looks really good and clean.

I need a big support from you.
I have the same phone with me Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830D. Network Provider: Koodo from Canada. It was lock and I tried unlocking phone using adb shell but didn't work properly. I did changes to bml file. before I do the changes adb shell detected my phone and after I did the changes adb shell not detecting my phone. Only Odin is detecting and can go to download mode only. no recovery mode.
It has boot looping problem. My request is please send me a copy of your phone EFS file to my e-mail [email protected]
Hope I can restore it by using oding. If you have any idea about how to recover my phone other than above please help me. I really appreciate
