to avoid the htc pop up when selecting a word to change in swype. Instead of tapping the word twice, only tap inside the word, then tap the swype icon to bring up the word choice window.

If it comes preloaded there is no need to worry about all the swype beta stuff. Plus it allows everyone who is going to make full themes able to include themes for swype also.
the htc evo had an update to include swype so Im almost positive that the thunderbolt will... I mean the dam my touch slide has swype stock

Has HTC ever launched a phone with it? Seems like they make a deal with swype later in the game.
anyhow.. as much as it sucks that they didnt include it... wont stop everyone from having it.
I need to reset up my dropbox it seems. I have an apk that might work, was built for the inc, but since the inc has the same resolution it shouldnt be a problem.
Anyone wanna try it out? send me a pm or email.
Also if anyone was part of the old beta, and still has the apk on your old phone, try installing it on the TB, if it works could you send it my way, I could make a few themed apks from it.

Im already part of the beta, but im still on the X and it wont download to my phone, because i cant get past the DISABLE SWYPE part
I installed the Swype Beta and it appears to not insert spaces automatically in the Sense SMS app. Emails works fine.
Kind of a deal breaker for me, since I liketohavespacesinmysentences.
Check you settings in swype make sure the spaces option is endless

It's enabled because it works fine in the email app.
I also noticed the same thing in sense sms, I use handcent anyway. I was able to enable the beta on both my fascinate and tb.
i hope that its a bug that can be fixed. i actually like the sense apps. damn cant wait till they root the phone and we can get android 2.3 on here.. native SIP calling over 4G will be awesome
No Swype
Picked my Thunderbolt up this morning and I will say 4G-LTE is DAMN FAST.
Phone didn't come with Swype but the beta is still open to the public and I just went and installed it and it's working just fine.
Seems the auto-spacing and auto-capitalization is definitely a bug on the Thunderbolt as well.
It actually was advertised and Verizon covered up the swype on the display with DLNA stickers.

Ive been waiting for this Fancy Widget mod forever, cant wait til its for HDPI devices. I can also beta but it seems like you have quite a list of people already.

If any one knows how, could you please make a dark version of the new facebook for android app. The one I have been using that is dark came with EF3.6 in the extras. I'd like an identical one but for the new version of facebook.

Just so you know, the tags like that are for releases. You're making everybody think you have a themed dark Facebook. Put [REQ] for a request.

I had the other 1.6.1 version, but i want the newest version of the app just with the dark theme identical to the ef3.6 dark one. it is awesome.

theme awesome but stupid facebook devs are redirecting the NEWS FEED part somewhere else and then that part displays in white. No fix yet. Damn facebook devs. I'm going back to the orig version that came with EF3.6 till this gets fixed. I'd rather have some bug and keep my damn theme then deal with this crap.
I apologize if this has already been covered, but I started using swype again, and it just doesn't look right.
Currently I'm running a honeybread theme on cm7 on my droid 2 global, which is basically a whole lot of blue and black. I did some quick googling, and found some blue/black themed swype apks, but they're expired and won't work
I'm signed up for the beta and have a legit apk of swype if that matters.

One of the biggest feature is you don't have to use the space key anymore. The app knows where you want to have a space and puts it in automatically.
Another thing is new themes. 2 ICS-like themes, cobalt and holo. Give it a try, awesome so far

Yeah its fantastic, only thing that's stopped me from using it is that it's not as smooth as the normal one ie. there are slight lags

Thanks for the share. It's real neat.
I had a lot of sms' to sync with it and i was surprised at how well it learns. I've had limited experience with the previous versions but i like the prediction algorithms that they use.
Plus i'm too lazy to use spaces now. I just type my whole paragraph and it fixes it for me.
