my Nexus 7 Should be arriving early next week.
i need to Buy a Case and screen protector for when it arrives, but the Official Google Case for the nexus is not available in my Country (Australia)
Can someone please tell me how i can get hold of an official Google Case for the N7 in Australia??.
And can Someone Please tell me which is a good Screen Protector for the N7, and is available in australia..??

So, this pouch is intended for the Nexus S. But the Nexus S and the Optimus 2x/T-mobile G2x are the same dimensions. look at it here and here for the xda user who shows great pictures of it.
I own a G2x and I was hoping if one of the UK users could help me get my hands on one. I think it will be perfect for our devices.

I ordered an N7 bag like that from amazon for 5 bucks, I hate folio cases and like the feeling of a bare tablet jn my hands. Only catch is it won't get here until Monday.
Anyone know if GS sells similar cases? I want to pick one up and return it once my case gets here.

Do you think it would be possible to buy and replace the back cover for this device. My dog bit my Nexus 7 and there are some bit marks on the back.
Dunno...any scratches on the screen?
Give it some time but I am sure we will see a couple third party backs. Saw one on eBay already but didn't trust the seller.

You can always get a skin to put on it. I saw some cool looking ones on Amazon or eBay and was going to go that route until I opted for the keyboard case.

I saw a back cover for sale on ebay. I'm sure there's going to be plenty more for sale when the unit is actually released. I'm waiting for a nexus 7 tear down. I also want to know if the plastic rim around the tablet can be replaced as well. I kind of dented it and was wondering if it can be purchased.
That's one way to fix the screen seperation issue.

Well i asked and there is a Seidio case in the works. There is no ETA for it which sucks. Its a active case with a multifunction cover.
I have used their products for a while and im happy with them just hope it comes out soon because i need something.

seidio cases are pretty good but they usually take much longer time to comeout..

I had one of these for my kindle fire and loved it. I'm getting by with a cheap case for my N7 until the Seidio case comes out.
I'll be keeping my eye out for this also. I've had seidio active cases on mine and my wifes nexus s's for over a year and a half now. They are great and have held up well. I like how they feel in the hand with their grippy silicon like material and they give the device great protection.

They are still not shipping but i saw it. The other one should be the same as the one in the picture but with a cover of course.
Debating if i want to go with the regular active case and a screen protector or the other case.
For those that havent used seidio before. Its kinda like a tpu case. Rubber with a hard plastic shell over it.
I have used them on my phones for a while now and im happy with these cases.

I love my surface case for my phone. The material they use is perfect. It is grippy for your fingers yet slippery in you pocket.

A 'Surface' would be smaller, but it looks good. First to market will get my money. Otterbox is going to lose out it seems.

I tried otterbox with my phone and i didn't like it. I sometimes need to take the case off and that is a pain with otterbox

When I asked them they said there aren't current plans to release a Surface case for the N7, just an Active case.

Hi there! Did you end up getting the case? If so, how do you like it? Did you get the model with the cover? If so how bulky does the unit become with the cover attached? (Either on the front or back).
It looks like there's a recessed section on the cover (to make room for the adjustable stand), but I'm worried that it will add too much bulk to the profile of the N7.

Its not out yet unfortunately. I am definitely ordering this when it comes out. I have the Gumdrop case now, which is nice but it does not have the same viewing options like this one. I cant wait for this to come out.

Suppose to be coming out later today, I just called and they said to call back in two hours. Plus they have responded to my facebook post and said blue and black 10/15. Red 10/17.

When the different colors cases was out on the GS3, Otterbox's website showed them out of stock while the retailers was selling them.

The OtterBox website says it has a screen protector built into the case. Isnt this going to cause S-Pen issues?

All defenders come with one built in. Wouldn't think it would interfere, but just do like I do and pull the protector out. It's just glued in so you can just push it out. I hate screen protectors.

I have the defender for my ipad, I ripped the protector out and used Goo-Gone to remove the sticky stuff. Worked great.

I have seen the s-pen work thru cardboard, I dont think the case screen protector is going to be an issue.

Cardboard and yes it works. The sensors change depending on the S Pen proximity. OG note could do this trick to btw. Samy found out it was reliable and made the hover feature from it. So throw 6 protectors on. Still works.

Thanks for the update! just got myself a Note 2 from U.S Cellular for $328 clean two year contract. Looked all over internet for otterbox and couldn't find anything but the Note 1 cases. 11 more days if facts are correct! Yes!
Also, would the Galaxy Note Defender case from otterbox for Note 1 work or fit note 2? Just out of curiosity because it seems for pictures that the dimmensions may just work but I'm no expert...
