Pretty simple. Took an otterbox defender from a Dell Streak 7 tablet I was about to buy last year and dremeled for the side for the buttons
Fits well its just a little small but it doesn't fall out.

I know someone posted here,buying a Zagg shield at TJMax. I believe Marshalls is also owned by whomever owns TJMax. I bought one today, they actually had two. They also had many screen protectors for other smartphones. Check out a Marshalls store.

I'm currently using the case I had for my black & white screen kindle... it's an inch or so bigger on all sides than the nexus 7 but for now, it'll suffice until I have a chance to find a case I want.
