[Q] What Do want in a RazrEvo Rom

Me and BigBearEvo going to work on a sense's based roms,They can be sense 3.5 or 2.1 or the both what do u expect from us?? u can be frank with it

Sense 2.1 with no launchers probably from latest RUU of Marvel GB 2.3.5. and in built data2sd script.

You won't get a built in script yet, have tried many times but always fail to work.
It will be on the list though once I get a working cm7 and kernel going as it's easier to make it work then.

a rom with default go launcher without sense. data2sd support, so that we it can run smooth..

is go laucher bloated?? used them.buggy.im gonna theme holo like touchwiz 5

I've just read this: http://www.xda-developers.com/android/cyanogenmod-9-stable-now-officially-available-for-45-devices/
and it seems CM9 Was released officialy for 45 devices...(HTC Incredible s not being part of them) They will no longer work on it and ONLY THOSE WITH CM9 will get CM10...
Does this mean Incredible S will never get jelly bean? or at least a good running one as it seems it cant run without CM9 atleast and we're still far from having 100% working...

Post in the general section next time! But about your question, Im sure CM Team are working on bringing CM9 to our Incredible S. Possibly they are waiting for kernel sources. Desire S has got CM9 and will get CM10 so our device and that device are practically the same on the inside. Patience is the key

So I'm theory. We could get a port if not official support.

Most other HTC phones have not got their kernel sources released either
Perhaps that's what they are waiting for, to have proper drivers instead of hacked ones, because cm is supposed to be a showcase of performance so they need the proper drivers for things like camera

And **** loads of Samsung, SE and LG's.... compared to HTC at least... But why? Do Samsung, SE and the rest, release their sources sooner than HTC does?

[Q] AvatarRom-New Kinda rom released-Can anyone port it?

I found information of new rom that was recently released named Avatar Rom. Its Available for only a few Devices at present (available for One X)

I am the creator of ROM. I can give you the port for Incredible S. Since the ROM is based on cyanogenmod it should work with no issues.
But we don't have a device to test. If you can help us with some basic sanity test i can give you the image.

I would be glad to test it in case required. But I am sure there are many experienced Testers out here who can give you potentially experienced test results.

There isn't a Sense 5 or 4+ rom yet because the devs are yet to get ion working kernel made for this phone. After this devolpment can start.

We can have ion on the vivid easily.. Sultan even said he was up for it at one time but nobody wanted to make an ion enabled rom... Lol

Well if he can make an ion kernel with proper ramdisk edits, anyone could easily port 4+, and if you got a booting 4+ then sense 5 would be right around the corner..... Things like camera won't work unless 1. The driver for camera gets written from scratch for 4+ or 2. If a simular HTC device has same camera driver and has official 4+

If it's so easy why won't anyone do it? If someone will help me get started I'll try to make an ion kernel I already have Linux and I don't care if I soft-brick my phone

No it is not easy. Yes porting the rom would be easy but truthfully who wants a phone with their camera not able to work? Getting the driver written from scratch would be a POS to do. If you wanna look to do anything port sebastion's 3.4 kernel to our phone. If that were to happen I would glady make a sense 4/4+ rom

All we really need is someone who can port ion to one of our jb kernels... Granted it might take awhile but later is better than never

you cant flash as i arg errors apparently your only allowed 3 but i want 5 and if i use cm10 edited script just get set-perm

No it's not set_perm errors, it's either the EOL giving errors or the arg's again

I can confirm it's flashed (my build) and TWRP recognises it as an OS which should mean it's flashed? However the kernel for CM7 is all i'm now waiting on, provide me with the boot.img to test, then i'll make another build and test, then hand it over to Shad0wPanda for fixes and updates!
