Np, Didnt test it overly long but all the important stuff seems ok. Wifi and root . I didnt make any changes just added root and de-odex

this package is great! just flashed it from cwr , it upgraded on boot , no hassle. thanks again,
checked every app , no issues, root works flawlessly, screen is definitely more responsive, page turning in reader is very good now. wifi connects right up. and the lock screen is nice (pic of fountain pen and letter.)
I tried this ROM and I have a little issue, when SuperSU tried to update its binaries, the process would get stuck in the update window. And after 10 minutes of waiting, when I rebooted the tablet, tried again and a message showed up saying the SuperSU cannot update the binaries by itself.
Thank you for this ROM. I was looking for something like this.

Yeah don't update binarys. The one installed works fine. It's a ics issue. I'm sure it will be worked out. But I'm not gonna worry about it. Like they say if it ain't broke don't fix it

U mean for otas? If u mean for ota it will stay broke u don't want to update or ull lose root. If when a ota comes ill de odex and root it again. Then u can flash via recovery.

Please help I have searched everywhere and cannot find a link for a recovery based off skrilax 1.14OR I know it's really outdated but I would like this version for the shear fact I can't flash motofroyosense properly from any of the newer ones.

After I downloaded OR 1.14 I was still stuck at the M. I guess the rom is just broken because .21 of MFS will install but it don't have all the fixes .25 has. Thanks again, and sorry for the double post

Install got 2.2.1 using rsdlite and then try MFS 0.25. It should work.

Free Madden 2012 weekend for Verizon customers. I am running a GB ROM and the link says my phone is not supported. I was told that I could edit my build.prop to make it work and assume it would mean faking that it was running Froyo instead of GB. I know how to edit files with root explorer however not sure which line/lines I need to edit. Any help or anyone else figured out how to get the Free Madden?
I was also thinking I could go to a froyo rom, download and backup with titanium and restore on GB rom, anyone try this?

I tried it and it worked but make sure you download the extra game data before going back to gb though or it wont work.
If you're using a ROM based on our OTA, it should work. I just downloaded it fifteen minutes ago with no issues.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, my work phone has vcast blocked (just found out when I tried from a froyo ROM and vcast conneciton got error). Getting it unblocked tomorrow but that may be too late for the download

Tried from Nils' Business GingerSense 3.5 - GB 2.3.5 - (9/29/11 v1.3) and failed. Maybe the Stock+ would have worked

I tried using a stock ROM and still no go. Either I blocked it on my account, or it has something to do with my Flextronics discount... I know I can't use the MyVerizon app either. *shrug* I had my 20 minutes of messing around with it, I gave up.

i was under the understanding that you needed "vcast apps" in order to download the game for free.
how did you download it using cm7?

Initially the game only worked on froyo devices. VZW went to work on it and fixed it for GB roms. I got it to work on Miui.

It's not ont he market for free, it is/was on VZAPP which you download/install from the link you get from Verizon when you call the #

Just dial **MADDEN from phone. You'll get a text with the link to install Vcast, if u don't have it and you can download the game for free via Vcast app.

Is it worth rooting yet or should I wait til something stable arrives? You know, where we can unroot, flash roms/recoveries. I dont wanna funk up my brand new s4. Which way did u guys root?

According to the article the update is 30 megs. I've yet to see it myself however so no idea.
Got the device yesterday afternoon and it has been bugging me about the firmware update all morning.
Weird. I keep checking for the update off and on this morning and I still don't have it.

Believe so. Should have some time here in a few and I can work on that.

Im up in ny, and I still have no update. I hope it's not an update to patch the root exploit.
Not OTA, but there is this page with the Sprint PH-720 about halfway down.

Hey guys. My XDA pal built me a MIUI test build. I'll be perfectly honest with you guys, I'm a little gun shy after some people bricked their phones while on AOSP. I kind of want someone else to be the test dummy
If you understand that this is only a test build that has never been tried before AND that the maker of this test build does not have this phone AND if something goes wrong with the flash I or the creator of the test build will not be held responsible.
Ok, that is the first disclaimer I have ever had to write over here. Without further delay...here is the link:
Hopefully one of you guys is more courageous than myself. Logcats would be appreciated. If this build is actually somewhat functional and we provide LOGCATS I'm sure he will continue working on it.
EDIT: I forgot to mention this point: He told me that before flashing this I should delete the NFC.apk. These are the steps:
1. download the test build and confirm MD5.
2. using WinRAR or similar program navigate to SYSTEM>APP>NFC.APK
3. right click and hit DELETE FILES
4. the MIUI Test build zip should now be w/o the NFC.apk
Update: Link has been temporarily pulled until kernel issue is resolved.
Was this built for the Sprint One specifically?
This looks sweet...make sure befpre everyone downloads to check to make sure its actually sprint. Build.prop boot.img updater script etc.

Yes, it was built for the Sprint HTC One. However, he does not have this phone. He based his work off of one of our CM builds. I would imagine that any bug we currently have on CM would be present in this test build.
EDIT: I should add this to the OP but it may be overkill...please make a nandroid before attempting to flash this.

Well he wouldn't have made it for me if he thought there was NO chance of it booting. He banged it out pretty fast though so I don't put too much faith into it. If I wasn't such a big wuss I would just flash it...but alas, I am a wuss so I'll let someone more savvy than myself give it a shot first.
Maybe ill wait too. It looks pretty good for the most part. I downloaded it. Well ill wait and see i guess.

At least you had an idea of what things to look for in a possibly working build. I wouldn't know where to start. If you decide to flash it please keep us posted!
You'll want to pull the link. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but it seems he had an issue with the kernel. I have yet to come up with the time to fix it, as I just had a long day with the kids. I'll try to look at it when I get home.

I couldn't get WIFI to successfully turn on ? I rebooted and wiped cache/davlik cache and still no success. Everything else seems working really good to be so early !

Both were good downloads. Thank you. But they aren't working for me. Either one. I install , then install recovery, and then reboot but nothing happens. I get a long pause at the samsung galaxy note 3 screen and then it reboots. I am rooted. Busybox and super su are working. Dont know what's happening.

Make sure you install busybox befor safestrap

The same thing happened to me. I did a factory data reset in settings/General/Backup and Reset. Reinstalled Safestrap, then it worked. I did a Data restore in Safestrap to get back apps.
