What Is Black Exodus?
Black Exodus is a theme that aims to bring the darkest and most minimal UI experience for your ICS/Jellybean ROM. After porting the Black Android Theme over to the SGS2 nearly a year ago I decided that I would like to create a new theme for myself with only 1 aim which was to make it minimal looking and also dark. As most of you know this also saves a little battery. The theme became quite successful when I release it for ICS so I figured why wait until the CM10 theme chooser? Lets get back to flashable ZIPs!
What do I need to run this theme?
-Legolas93's CM Build 6 (will work on JellyBro once gearheadcustoms release it)
-At least 1 brain cell to use CWM/TWRP or whatever
-Manners (They cost nothing)

How do I install this?
-Download the theme.zip from the downloads section below
-Put it on your SD Card (You only have one)
-Reboot into recovery (Do I really need to explain it further?)
-Go to 'Install from SD Card'
-Select the theme.zip
-Bazinga! (That means done)

I have your them installed, but the one from the beta 5 build - and I think its perfect.
My criticisms are for the pictures in the OP. I don't like that the pull down toggles are themed. The reason is that every other icon on the phone has sharp edges, but now that theyre themed they are inconsistent.
Also icons shouldn't be themed. The reason for this is that you will never be able to theme every icon. Inevitably everyone will use one app with a non back icon and again, there will be inconsistencies.
My advice (and what I would do if I had anywhere near the ability you do) is stick to stock whenever possible. Take it or leave it

Just wanted to say thanks, got this working on the 4g. Only thing was changed my carrier label to "Roaming Indicator Off", I was able to fix that though.

Instructions:
Download theme and store on the root of your sdcard. Its not required but I wipe cache just because sometimes on my device I get forcecloses on the phone.apk if I don't. Reboot into recovery, install from sd, reboot and enjoy. If you like my work just hit the thanks button.

Haha thanks Mike. I'm a fan of white themes they just are a bigger drain on the battery and the one trade off on super amoled is for all the pure black and popping colors we lose true whites.

Lol im a girl...but im on sfr 1.2 I wiped 3x I thought it was the kernel so I reflashed the rom and put twilight kernel but it still goes crazy it reboots over and over is it not compatible?

ooops im sry lol but its not compatible im sure because SFR 1.2 has 6 lockscreen mod built in right? which will make any theme that doesnt have that mod not compatible

AOKP has an option in ROM CONTROL to turn on CRT Off - I have it activated on my phone and no problems -

Is there somewhere to speed up the window fly in animations? They are sweet, but a little slow. Also, the 3g icon is overlapping the signal bars. The inverted apps are awesome, thanks for those!

Yeah in CM9 (and here) the 3G icon just appears over the signal bars. I left that like that because it saves space. If you go into Spare Parts (download from Google Play) and change your Windows Animation speed to Fast it will speed it up a lot.
Any possibility this theme could be updated for AOKP alpha B29?
I really liked this theme and Grapes of Wrath purple just doesn't sit well with me.

unable to put on sd card.. says file is too deep. any one know why or what im doing wrong?
Maybe you should tell your sd card to lighten up? Never saw that error...ever. Make sure you have free space on sd card. Maybe download to a PC and transfer file over.

How are you flashing it? From 3 finger into CWM right?

It's really nice, but on my nexus, it kills google now, vocal search and text search and it's impossible to install the velvet.apk, even through adb.
I tried twice (with jelly belly only, full whipe and everything...
I get it out the zip and everything is working... black and blue! Can't wait for updates

It's been awhile since I was involved in the android community. I've been busy freelance designing and through my jobs I tried to strengthen my skills as a designer. I would have never thought about coming back to the android scene if it weren't for everyone's support. I thank everyone for caring about this project even though it's been like two years. I can only give you a rough beta now because I am still very busy. I hope you guys enjoy it, I will try my hardest to bring constant updates despite my busy schedule. About the Features
For now features seems quite naked. I want the theme to be minimal, but minimal is simple and not basic. I want LunarUi to match the new android Holo style. To get the dock I recommend you use a customizeable launcher like Apex. The graphics package and instructions are here https://dl.dropbox.com/u/37731839/launcher stuff.zip
Bugs list
There may be hella alot of bugs because I've only been using Android 4 since I decided to make this theme. Right now I know some phones might have a glitch in color of the top bar in the notification pulldown

Long time no see bro, outstanding job on this so far man! one thing i found is i dont have the colored statusbar...only on pulldown is it there but here is a shot.

Not an issue with this theme, rather the ROM I suppose. It's coloREDX'd here .
