Disable vibrate when unlocking the phone with CyanogenMod 9.0.0RC2 - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hallo,
I have CyanogenMod 9.0.0RC2 on my Galaxy S. When I unlock the screen it always vibrates. The only option to disable I found with Google is to use Apps as LockScreen. However I want to disable it without using other Apps. Where can I do that setting? If it is not possible, what's the reason for that? Haptic feedback is disabled globally under Settings -> System -> Notification Bar ("Benachrichtungsleiste")
Thanks for your help.

[Q] where are the settings for lockscreen behavior located?

Hi all,
I flashed VatSense 1.6.1 on top of cyanogenmod 6.0.0 RC2 and afterwards my lockscreen was no longer working. The display is switching off, but pressing the menu button brings me directly to the home screen. Changing the settings does not have any effect, even enabling pin lock will not enable the lock screen. Wiping data is enabling the lockscreen, but I would like to keep my data ... Ibelieve it's a matter of settings. Does anybody know where the settings for the lockscreen behavior are saved in /data ?

ICS CM9 Haptic feedback

Hi Guys
So I tried the CM9 rom, and one thing that really annoys me is the haptic feedback when pressing the soft keys and when typing. Is there a way to reduce it(NOT turn it off) like in CM7 ?
For the soft keys,go to settings/sound and untick "vibrate on touch"
and for keyboard haptive feedback, go to settings/language and input, there you have settings for android keybord, click there and untick "vibrate on keypress". I tryed both,it works... Hope i helped
I Didnt want to turn it off .... just reduce as you can in CM7
I think that this option is still without adding
Try looking around in the "Dev Tools" app, it might be there, just like you can reduce the brightness on the touchbuttons!
To lower the vibrations for keyboard-touches you have to go to settings > language & input > Android keyboard settings > advanced settings > keypress vibration duration settings
I know that it says "duration", but a lower duration also lowers the intensity of the vibration.
Haven't found a possibility to lower vibration for the touchkeys... i guess there's an app for that.
I have been looking for the possibility to lower the vibration intensity for the touchkeys too, it's just too high for the moment and i'm even more annoyed using the phone with haptic feedback turned off :S
they have merged the feature in the latest nightlies, you'll find it under the advanced settings

I use a different rom on my Jiayu G4 phone, Android 4.2.1. Which file(s) can I manually edit in the filesystem to change ms duration number? I have root access.

Can you provide a link or apk file for "Dev Tools" app?

Custom Toggle (Developer Touchscreen Data)

I'm using ICS Stunner and would like to have a custom toggle button in the notification tray for toggling a specific Developer Option On/Off (show touch coordinates.)
Is there a way I can do this natively or with an app, or would I/someone need to make my own modifications to AOSP/AOKP for this functionality?
Try
Widgetsoid
from PLay Store. Dows exactly what you want!
Hope that helps mate!

4.2.2 lockscreen - vibrate on touch option gone?

I have a pattern lockscreen, and there used to be an option called vibrate on touch so the phone vibrates on each dot of the pattern.
after the update my XZ still vibrates fine, but my wife's XZ doesn't vibrate on the lockscreen when drawing the unlock pattern anymore and I can;t find the option to turn it back on.
anyone able to help?
thanks!
The option is under Settings -> Sound.

Hello
It is not this Option.

Perhaps your wife has broken her vibrator in some way? The phone is waterproof... Jokes aside, I found the setting on mine (CyanogenMod 10.1, 4.2.2 as well) under Settings > Lock screen > Screen security > Additional options... but it is greyed out!? #noidea

I checked and no other option to set vibration except for the one I said above. I also tried setting a pattern unlock and there is vibration on each dot of the pattern. Perhaps you can just tick the option under Settings -> Sound and see if it works?
I have attached a screenshot I found which shows the setting.
It used to be under security settings prior to 4.2
the option is no longer visible after 4.2.2 update.
it seems my wife turned off that option before updating, and it kept the setting. but now it's not possible to turn back on as the setting is no longer there......

disable lockscreen

Hi all,
After I upgrade to Nougat, it seems there is no option to disable lockscreen..
Even if I set up fingerprint unlock, there is still 2seconds of lockscreen before it comes to PIN unlock.
Any way how to disable it completly in Nougat?
Thanks
