It's all about preference dude.. It's not like we don't how to use 3rd party launchers, it's just happen that we like the stock... for the mean time...

Start XDA app -> Forums -> Hold LG Optimus 4X HD -> Create Shortcut
Only got my 4X HD yesterday. First run of a home-screen on my lovely new toy. Using Nova Launcher Prime and HD Widgets with the High Res Icon Pack. Home-screen set to 5x5 instead of the default 4x4.
Edit: XDA app not uploading - will do so tomorrow from my PC.
Have to use an HTTP link for the moment

Is it possible to make a modded version of the LG launcher? With like 5 icons instead of 4 etc. Would be nice if someone could do that.
Try launcher pro from market, that has 5 buttons and is alot faster then the LG crap.

Try ADW, it looks and function more like the LG launcher.
you can install multiple launchers and change launcher by installing Homesmack !

I Have launcher 7 allready installed and in use but, what i mean is a total change from skin of the phone. Do you know "Fedes Music Player"? I mean something like this. I want the real feel an look from wp7 also in the settings, the apps and so on (without buying a wp7 phone ^^).
Launcher 7 is awesome :-D. But only the homescreen an app drawer -.-
I need a launcher 7 for the whole phone :-D

Hey guys (hope that's the right section)
today the LG 4X HD 4.1.2 Leak was released so I flashed it and there are this new fu**ing awesome lockscreen Icons

but they're only available on lockscreen so is there some Icon pack which brings such Icons for homescreen? I did see one but they are rounded black and I like it much more like this ones on lockscreen
and if there isn't such a pack -is there a way to extract the icons from system files? and where do I find them?
Looking forwards to your replies with hopefully such icons

Just get the theme for LG ROM , from any thread. The icons are all the same , Just you need the mask files to make them lookalike.
I can help that in 2 minutes time if you want.

Hey sorry for late reply! Hmm I think it's diffucult because they're ONLY on lockscreen the ones on Homescreen are the "normal ones" and they are just looking like that since I updated to android 4.1.2 and that's a leak so which theme should be like this? (I'm not a themer just wanna have that nice Icons!)

Those aren't the actual icons. If you press on them and move it will show the full icon. Its just a mask on top of the real icon.

Hi all... This is other launcher that you can use for your 4x HD. I hope will be new releases in the future this launcher for me looks luke miui+pure android... Has support for themes(thats great), well Here the link.
