Problem Using Official Youtube Website(which has worked in the past)

Hello people, I have noticed some problems running youtube(desktop version) videos for the past 4-5 days. As the title states..I've had youtube up and running before seamlessly, hence I am wondering whether any of you have experienced the same problem at any point.
I have the DVHA79 AdobeFlash3.1 plugin and use Opera to browse the website.
The videos used to play perfectly, (and videos from other flash websites still work).. However, youtube now plays my chosen video for around 60 seconds, and then the video box turns white, and displays the following words "Go Upgrade" as shown below:

So can others out there that had the desktop version of the youtube website working on their X1 check to see whether it still works (and is capable of playing a 3-4minute video) so that we can workout whether its a change on my device, or a change in youtube's service that is causing the problems..
I appreciate any of you taking the time to check.

All of my broswers open mobile You Tube.
All the youtube videos ebedded on pages like WMPowerusers
seem to work..
I use native Google app.

If you had the flash plugin installed, then you could have browsed most flash websites in opera, and it would play identically to how your computer would play them.

That's what I wrote.
If I didn't have flash installed
I wouldn't be able to see the videos.
I have it since January 2009.
So my answer is - it works.
But I don't use it 'cos it's a crippled experience
compared to watching YouTube in app.

Thats why I mentioned the flash plugin, as even my browser manages to play embedded youtube videos on WMPoweruser etc.
My concern was predominantly for people with the flash plugin navigating their Opera browsers to www.youtube.com, then clicking "Desktop" at the bottom of the page (if it went to the mobile site initially) and then playing a video to see whether it plays the full course of a 3-4 minute video.
Again, I'd appereciate it any of you could take the time to check

And was watching YouTube videos from WMPoweruser.

Youtube changed the resources address of videos on August 4th. All Youtube client apps can't stream the video in HQ or HD. The downloading video function doesn't work as well. Now SuperTube and SuperTube Lite have solved the problem. The version 1.9 is published now. Please update version 1.8 to 1.9. (Perhaps, some regions or countries would be postponed the update. Please be patient and wait a few hours.)
Description of SuperTube:
SuperTube allows you to stream and download YouTube videos in HQ and HD by 3G or WiFi.
Version 1.9 changes –
1 Fix loading and downloading error
2 Sync the videos downloaded to your PC by installing a client program on your computer. Client program can work on the Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7. (Notes: download the client program and documentation in the http://supertube.codeplex.com)
3 Add an option to hide or display Hub History
Basic functions:
1 Download YouTube videos, and supports resume broken downloads
2 Login YouTube account to view, edit subscriptions and favorites and search videos

5 Small screens model that allows you to write comments while streaming videos; Full screen mode in 16:9 or 4:3

Our developers made a new app - SuperMusic. It enables users to download free songs and audio book. I hope people will like it.

Is this even legal?
I've talked to the LazyTube developers and apparently it is not even legal to access the desktop library. I've already purchased LazyTube, but I'd buy this if what it does is actually legal.

Nice, but in the Market Place is only v. 1.9 (for Poland).

When we packed the xap file, development tool had an error about the recording function. Sorry for the recording bug. You can wait for the version 2.1. We have submitted it to Microsoft. It will be published in the coming days. The recording issue will be addressed in the version 2.1.

Recording bug is still there in version 2.1. Crashing the app. when attempting to record video. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling but the app. is still crashing. Hope you can fix this.

The version 2.1 is available at the marketplace. Unfortunately, the recording function is still not working. When the program is on the process of the testing, it works well.
When we submit the app to Microsoft's certification team, the Microsoft automatically packed our program and deleled the Microphone tag in the course of the certification. So you can't open the recording function. We have figured out a way to solve it. We are negotiate with Microsoft on the problem. You need to wait a few days. We are sorry for the inconvenience. When the problem is solved, we will let you know.

Is this app comparable to MetroTube?

It is better than MetroTube. It enables users to download videos and you can sync the downloaded videos to PC. It has more solid functions. You can try it. If it works, please modify the reviews in the marketplace.

Where did you use the search function? If you do the search in the my downloader, it is for searching downloaded files.

So after getting the update today, this is sort of a complete overhaul of the SuperTube app huh?
I like it. Looks good, smooth, a nice mix of styles like the Fuze style of Top Rated and such. Great work.
Now the only thing I need to check is if I can successfully get the videos off the phone which never worked for me with the older SuperTube. :/

Search works if you do the search, click the home button, then arrow back. Idk why it works that way. Metrotube was better for me, but metro tube wouldn't play or search vevo videos. and the vevo app sucks. So I might keep this.

Thank you for using our app. Sorry, version 2.6 is only partial fix for HQ and HD viewing of videos. You can view the new videos in HQ and HD within a month. But you can't view the older videos in HQ and HD. I will continue to fix the bug and update it to version 2.7. Please wait for a few more days.

I've already installed the free version, and it looks really cool!! One thing to comment is that the spanish translation is really poor!! Did you use Google Translator??
