V6 super Charger in post 2
MULTI-CORE GOVERNORS AND FREQUENCIES
this is a patch which allows you to edit the governor of each core independently, as well as setting each its own min / max frequencies, IT'S NOT MY WORK AND ALL THANKS GOES TO Smokin1337
Firstly dl the zip, then flash via your chosen recovery, I flashed on fresh installs so I recommend you wipe your cache/dalvik cache to be on the safe-r side of life , if flashing over a *settled* rom
You will then need to run the command "su" in terminal emulator , followed by "cpu"
Then all settings are self explanatory inside the terminal emulator,
Here's the op
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1584508
Here's the link to terminal emulator in the play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm&hl=enO
This mod , may be cancelled out by other mods and/or settings saved from them, I would recommend clearing data from system tuner, set CPU, CPU tuner etc, and reinstalling them without making changes to CPU , also disable forced dual core if you have a 3rd party app enabling it. Er........ I think that's it
.....nope, if you restore from apps such as titanium back up, any data containing CPU configs you restored may need to be removed too, if you want to make sure you are getting the settings set in terminal emulator and not those launched via init.d or on boot completion
Enjoy

V6 SUPER CHARGER SCRIPT
LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL............. ReDraws n' Lag Will Be Gone!
its like having a turbo on your device, lots of work has been put into this dont forget to go thank Zeppelinrox on The OP below
it has worked for me on his previous releases and accross many roms,
you may need a busybox update, to prevent a possible cause of a boot loop, but it does auto detect version,
and it is easy enough to upgrade busybox version,
with this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.busybox.installer&hl=en free from the market/play store,
you will also need an app like script manager https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=os.tools.scriptmanager&feature=search_result free from the market, and dont forget to turn the little su android button green to run as root when running the script
heres the OP, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276 ,
thanks to Zeppelinrox

As long as you don't have init.d scripts in your system/etc that can conflict, you shouldn't need too, I re run the script everytime I flash a new Rom. So 3 times a day sometimes lol , but once a week should be more than adequate, the cleaning script should be done, at the end of each time you supercharge

Thanks. Hopefully this will fix the memory leak issue on CM10

I think there is an issue with cm10 / jb - if your busybox is indifferent, change busybox at your own risk, be sure to nand before you alter busybox

no use 32 or 33. but id recommend running 32, to ensure you get all settings, saved from the script u just ran

One more thing. Does the script stick when changing kernel? Or should I run it everytime I flash a new kernel?

I was using v8 and it didn't have this option. Downloaded v9 from second post (why didn't you put in first post ) and it worked.
You also forgot to mention that we should use SM to to run /data/99SuperCharger.sh at boot so that changes won't revert after restart.
Thanks for your guide
EDIT: For some reason changes revert after restart even when I set 99SuperCharger to run at boot !!

[Q] X8 Slows down gradually

Hi All,
As I can see that no matter which ROM I install in my X8 the phone will be great in the initial days but it gradually slows down as days go by.
So can you all list out different methods to keep the phone fast and snappier without factory resetting it?
Thanks,
Well first thing that comes to mind is a reboot. But i guess you've done that. Clear cache?

Does the app "RAM Manager" help? or the "Engine flush" in supercharger script by zeppelinrox?
Try Ram Manager Pro

Ram manager didn't work for me. I use supercharger. I'm not saying it's better, just my preference. Well, fef (flush) works. I haven't experienced a major decrease in performance since using it. Hopefully it works for you too.
But still, i've found rebooting your phone every once in a while helps.

It isn't a good idea to mix scripts.. Use one only for performance tweaks..
So either use Ram Manager Pro or supercharger..
My preference is Ram Manager Pro because you don't need hubble telescope to read the settings and apply the tweaks..
Reset factory settings
Cachemate and similar apps work for me, I clean cache every 3 days and phone is never sloved

How about a custom kernel. That may speed your phone up and give you the option to overclock and undervolt. Both will make it faster. But the x8s hardware is outdated anyway. Won't be long 'til it's on the legacy devices list

Use swap IF you're on custom kernel. DO NOT use a task manager.
Either way, your phone will gradually get slower unless you do a reboot at least.

Just reboot. Rebooting stops all cache. You could clean database and wipe dalvik cache too

This what I did...
I use FroyoBread v23b (Great rom, hanks to doixanh), I did that:
# Just install the necesary apps. Don't install all the aps, I just have Twitter, WhatsApp, Facebook, SMmagager and root explorer.
# Install modules and scripts. I recommend you Supercharger, do a overclock (Not to high, just the enough, like 691mzh)
# Like the other guys say, Clear the cache.
# Use a simple launcher. Like LauncherPro, you can do nice things with that launcher.
# Disable the screen animations. You'll gain performance but loose visual attractions. If you don't want it, dont do it.
# DONT USE TASK MANAGER. The simple answer it's, leave Android manage the RAM.
# Use a light and simple theme. Like system theme of Gingerbread or Motoblur.
Here in the forum you can a lots of launchers, modules and more, just use the search tool.
This is I remember what I did, my mobile fell so light and quickly, no lag in the scrolling.
Sorry for my bad english :silly:

[Tweak] Pimp my Rom

Found this and it turns out it is pretty cool. Lots of tweaks. Some stuff already baked into BO. Oh, and this is for BrokenOut!!!!!
:highfive: to Fuzzy13 for pimpin' his esteem first. I found this a few days ago but was waiting for someone else to do it first. lol. Thanks Mane!!!
Original thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908269
I have already made the tweak to the script and it's ready to flash. Pimp-my-ROM_LG_Revolution {it's large, very large. over 100mb. Here's your warning} Pls be easy ppl. it's on my dropbox I'll add a mirror after my boss kicks me out tonight
Make a backup then just flash in cwm. It will open an aroma graphical interface that will allow you to install many tweaks and a few apps. Choose stock based GingerBread ROM So far everything seems to work. Just remove any init.d tweaks that were not baked in the BrokenOut2.0. (ie...v6, tweaks, thunderbolt, etc...) Best to start fresh!!!!!
When finished, just exit (do not reboot from pmr, you will get a cwm error). reboot system from cwm.
Enjoy!!!!!!!
***edit: If by chance you get the 'no boot animation', it's a simple fix:
Edit the line 'debug.sf.nobootanimation' of your build.prop. Change the value to 0 (zero)
Can I use this even if im not starting fresh? If so, would it be conflicting with any of the BO scripts?
The only script from stock bo that conflicts is the loopy smoothness. Pmr names it smoothness. But it will take over v6. Unsupercharge then flash pmr. But as always, make a backup!!
Just remove the baked in loopy script after you make your backup.

EDIT: Still no boot logo on second boot. Also took 7 minutes that time.
Will this work with all roms, ie all versions of BO and stock?
In theory yes, but Idk if it will work on stock Rom. Just make a backup first. Iirc, a guy used it on his wife's stock esteem. Said he saw a tremendous improvement.
As far as removal, Idk. I'll get back with that info soon.
I have been using it for a few days now and I get fabulous Batt life. I do suffer from the no boot ani, but boot ups are faster than on a stock kernel. Just amazing. But remember, to give your phone time to settle before giving up. besides aroma is cool.
Sent from my VS910 4G using xda app-developers app
For stock Roms, you would need to enable init.d support. Without it, your init.d scripts will not run by themselves.
to enable init.d support in stock rooted roms, use a file browser and go to the etc folder. look for init.qcom.post_boot.sh and add '/system/etc/init.d/*' to the bottom of the file. Save and reboot. Enjoy.
*Edited. Forgot a letter.
Sent from my VS910 4G using xda app-developers app
OP updated for the 'no boot animation' issue. If you want to call it an issue. and to let you know, after enabling the boot ani I have not noticed any increase to the boot up time. In fact, sometimes my ani doesn't even get to loop before the lock screen shows up.
And for those that don't like the extra long boots, they will shorten up. Give your phone time to settle. the long boots are for the scripts configuring things. When you think about it, there are a lot of files that are tweaked (zipaligned, deodexed, etc...). the scripts are set up to optimize files that are not already optimized. So, the boot time will decrease. Don't get scared. It's only a phone.

Hi again sir i would like to ask some instruction because I am a little bit confuse in installing this application.
1) which step would i follow first ?? here is the link of what i am talking about. V6 SuperCharger
This
Summary of Steps (Yeah, it's THIS friggin easy...)
Before you start reading, just know that this is not difficult to implement... it's easy. There's more specifics below but basically:
1. Download a script
2. Install BusyBox (Attached! - see install instructions above the attachments)
3. Install Script Manager (Enable Browse as Root in Config)
4. Load script into Script Manager (Run As Root - the skull and crossbones icon which turns green when selected)
5. Follow instructions/user prompts & select what you want

OR this
Installing/Using
1. Download the attached V6_SuperCharger_for_Android*.txt/pdf script and save to your sdcard.
- Do NOT run the V6 SuperCharger install script at boot!
2. Run the script:
A) Load the script (V6_SuperCharger_for_Android*.txt/pdf) into Script Manager and select "Run as Root" (skull and crossbones "Su" icon - it turns green when selected)
OR...
B) Run Terminal Emulator and simply type: su and enter, sh /sdcard/V6* and enter (provided you saved the script to the root of your sdcard)
OR...
C) via ADB on your computer. In a console, type: adb shell and enter, su and enter, sh /sdcard/V6* and enter (provided you saved the script to the root of your sdcard)
3. Get SuperCharged! Just pick an option! The extra options (Engine Flush, etc.) explain things before doing anything
4. READ the script's output!
5. Afterwards, READ the html HELP FILE in the root of your SD Card!
6. Non-ICS/JB ROMS - Disable "Lock Home in Memory" if your ROM has this option. (This takes effect immediately.)
7. Optional: For a quick status check, you can put a Script Manager widget for V6 SuperCharger on you desktop
8. Reboot - required if it's your first time SuperCharging the rom.
9. Check if it works - After reboot, run the V6_SuperCharger script and check the info under the menu.
Cool! - Here are a few recent tutorials:
[GUIDE] V6 Supercharger Update 9 RC 8.2 + for Samsung Galaxy Young (includes a little KAK tutorial too)
If you are using compcache and have lag or slow down after SuperCharging,
DISABLE compache, wipe caches and re-enable it.
Non-ICS/JB ROMS - Be sure to uncheck/disable lock home in memory!
Note: V6_SuperCharger-AOR.zip is for use with Milestone's Androidiani OpenRecovery. Even if you have a Milestone, don't run it within Android.
........ AOR Usage: Extract to the root of your sdcard (Directory structure is in the zip)
.........You will now have a SuperCharger Menu on the main screen. Simply select the menu and select 1 of the 12 options.

Thankyou for your HELP
PS: Please correct me if I'm disobeying some rules here
You can follow any step which suits you best but just take care of that you precisely follow the steps and be a good reader
PS: Don't forget to patch the "Jelly ISCream mod" that is the only thing to be done perfectly

well best is to either stop them from loading, disable triggers, uninstall/freeze them, etc to get some extra free ram.
but knowing the inner workings from android ram utilization, pretty useless endevour considering
