best galaxy 5830i best rom for games - Galaxy Ace S5830i General

what's the best rom For Best Experience With Games ???

There aren't rom for games. There are only Razodroid,CM7.2 (a lot of bugs),Retribution Beta 2 and a stock rom deodex with ICS theme

Sorry but i think you should read and search the forum before posting new threads. For a start this section is only for development to ask a question like this it should be in the general section of the S5830 section with the prefix [S5830i] and even then you should READ, SEARCH AND READ SOME MORE! before posting there are only 2 roms for this device currently avalible and both are only in beta testing so gameplay is not of top priority at the moment

Need For Speed, Temple Run, PES 2012, Real Footbal 2012, etc

[Q] searching for new rom

hello guys i am a proud owner of ob for about o month and after playing with the stock rom i am looking for a custom rom.
i previously owned an samsung omnia 2 windows mobile phone with a wide selections of roms of every kind to play with. for ob i only find about cyanogen rom and nova rom.
i am looking for performance and maximizing the battery. i read about nova that is a light rom with a lot of tweaks but it is based on android 2.2. on the other hand i read that android 2.3 is a little bit faster and better for the battery and cyanogen is based on 2.3 and it has more potentials for tweaks than nova. what is your opinion? is there any other rom that i should consider? should i consider the stock 2.3 chinese rom that has some bugs?
and one final thing i want to ask. i read that with smart flash u can flash to the stock rom. from what i read it can unbrick your phone or replace the custom rom if i don't like it (in that impossible case!!!). i just want someone to confirm that.
thanks in advanced guys!!!!
1 post.. did u even used search?
Best at the moment is zeus rom

Best ROMs are suggestive. Go into the Development forum and start reading. I look for the ROM with the most active developer. Do your own research and you'll learn a lot.

[Q] GT-P1000... ICS or ... not ?

Hello everybody...
I have a Galaxy Tab P1000 working on 2.3.3 and CWM installed.
I want to go on ICS but, honnestly, I really don't know what to do
Cyanogen, AOKP, Overcome... :silly::silly:
So, what's the differences ? I'm reading, reading, reading... and it seems to be hard to understand what bring each mod instead of installing one (your tutorials are really easy to understand for a newbie like me).
I don't want a mod where something doesn't work. My tablet is working fine actually and I don't want to screw something so... what's the best ICS mod for a P1000 ?
Thanks for your advices (and sorry for my poor english )
Two major problems.
1) best rom thread isn't allowed in xda. Try them out and find out yourself.
2) there is a q&a subforum for questions (but not for best rom question)

I tend to disagree with your response priyana. He is not asking for the "best" rom, just the differences. My suggestion is to read the development thread for each and try them out for yourself.
The best way to work out the one for you is to dive in and try them out.

Well, if your are asking for stable roms, then cm 9.1 and aokp milestone 6 are the options. dont ask for best roms.
I agree with stimpz0r that this isn't a best ROM thread, the OP is just asking the differences between the types of ROM. As long as it stays that way and doesn't become a best ROM thread then it's fine to stay. Have moved to Q&A where it belongs.
In answer to the question, as tiresome as reading and testing can be, don't give up with the reading as it's the most important part of being on XDA as so much information is available. The 1st few posts of the development threads tend to give you an overview of what's included but the main ROM types you get will be:
Custom stock - based off official ROM's with tweaks
AOSP (Android Open Source Project) - based off Google source code
CM - which is a modified AOSP experience with customisations, bug fixes etc
AOKP (Android Open Kang Project) - similar to CM as uses lots of aspects of CM but offers far more customisation options for the user
Ahem... 1st post, 1st fault
I wasn't asking for the "best rom over all the others", but more for a little help to know what kind of rom I have to look for, really sorry for the mistake.
Usually, I try to learn by myself reading on forums or on the net, but the hard part with Android (at least for me) is that a rom can work with a device but not with another who has the same Android version :silly::silly::silly:. It's not like a video game console, a PS3 is a PS3, a Wii is a Wii, no major change between the 1st and the last serie.
Thanks for your answers. I'll keep reading , but this time I'll look toward CM and Aokp first .
We all learn by reading and you'll see in my post I was siding with you
The best part of this forum is how much you learn off other members and the like-minded people you get to talk to. We were all new once so once you pick up things slowly but surely you'll also be able to share what you've learned back with so many new users always joining :good:

Hi to all! I am new to this section and to rhe mini 2, however I am not new to androi

Hi to all! I am new to this section and to the mini 2, however I am not new to android community and to developing, moding etc. I will try to contribute as much as I can for now ( since i have my exams at the Faculty of Information Tehnology very soon ).
I would like to know wich are the most stable ROM's for the Mini2 for now, and is there a way to ROOT without activating the BIN counter. I would prefere a more stock ROM since i kinda like the stock ROM on this device, at least for now
Bassicly any tip's to get me up to date would be really helpfull.
Thanks to all !

I still don't know about a way to root it without increasing the bin count. And if you ask me, the most stable ROM is any STOCK ROM On all custom ROMs I've been experiencing problems lags and freezes, especially while playing SubwaySurfers (god dammit I'm so addicted to that game xD). So, yeah... I am on XXLK2
Thread name too long.
Wrong section.
And...
Increasing BIN Counter is only way to root Mini 2, yet.

I have no problem with subwaysurfers on cm10 ( not with new york or rio janeiro version)
I had lags on CM10 so I got back to stock
I was thinking about peters version, mb with OC... I mainly want root coz i want full supervision over my device and I hate those adds that pop up on my screen. -. -'

First, wrong section. You need to refine your aim.
Second. --> DO NOT POST A "What's the best ROM/Kernel/Theme?" THREAD!
Thread closed.

cm 4.2.2 or JB Stock

i dont know what is the best rom for battery life is this the Stock JB or CM 4.2.2
and what are the + points and the - points
:$

This is just laziness
Search is your friend, have a look in Android development, have a look at users opinions on the ROMs etc.
Then make up your mind, nobody will spoon feed you here, i'm afraid.

best and most stable aosp ROM for g900w8?

Been trying the unnofficial cm11 roms but wonder what else is out there that is stable and more officialy supported
Mod Edit
"Best" or "Recommend" ROM / Kernel threads are not allowed on XDA.
Please test these things for yourself. That is the only way you will get an unbiased opinion,
and then, you can decide for yourself if it meets YOUR needs.
