Facebook app - HTC Incredible S

Hi all,
Recently my facebook app always "Facebook authentication failed" after latest update.
I'm able to login, but it will automatic logout and shown "Facebook authentication failed" after a few hours. Sometimes even can't login with data plan. Must use WiFi only able to login.
I had tried wipe data and reinstall the app but still same.
FYI, I'm on nik's trinity v5 Rom.
Appreciate if anyone could help on this issue. Thanks..

Hi,
First uninstall facebook. Then go to account and settings and remove facebook from HTC sense, then again add Facebook for HTC sense. Authorize it and install facebook app again.

Hi, when I uninstall fb app, fb for HTC sense in acc & syn disappear as well.. looks like both is linked together..

Hi,
Thanks for the help, managed to get it working!
I was using a Desire S with a Sensation XL ROM port, and the app didnt work.
So i thought it was a server issue and other users with the app, like you guys won't have it working too.
Turned out it was some framework stuff that prevented me from signing in.
Ended up replacing the framework, and it's all working now!
Thanks for the input anyway!
Cheers

Blinkfeed problem

Hello!
I allready know there is thread about this but i really want to put this on top! And i hope there are someone fighting with this like me.
So this happens for few htc one users who have flashed custom rom and there isnt facebook updates in blinkfeed anymore :\
Connecting to facebook by adding fb account in blinkfeed, refreshing bf and nothing. I allready tried by freshstart by cleaning and wiping everything without results.
Hope there are something to fix this!

same problem here. i guess we have to wait for an official update by HTC
It seems the Problem is solved. My BlinkFeed is working again. I guess this was no HTC Stock-ROM Problem but a problem by Facebook.

Error 403 driving me nuts.

I've tried everything I can, from removing accounts to clearing cache and data. I've removed the account and re added.
I bought dogcatcher with account 1.
If I remove account 1 and add account 2, it still thinks I've purchased it. I've removed both and added number 2 back. Same issue and so far only with this app.

Did I got it right? Purchased an app with Acc 1, get an error when trying to update it with acc 2? Or is it just showing as "purchased" with Acc 2?
Showing as purchased which is odd. I don't mind buying again. It just won't let me.

Also note the phone refuses to connect to anything Google related. Google.com times out, there is no option to add a Google account anymore, Gmail fails to sync, play store fails to connect. Is there a gapps for the one i can flash?

After much investigation, it turns out it was my network, three.
However, the problem with 403 is still present. It's got so bad, I've had to buy another podcast app to tide me over. Looks like Doggcatcher is off the menu. Shame, but I'm tired of pissing about with this.
I surrender. Voice recorder pro is doing it now. Any ideas?

Same. Even after wiping and only adding one account, it still does it with the same apps. There must be a more serious issue. I can't use apps I've paid for and have to buy alternatives.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
I thought I would try again today, still the same thing. I've had to BUY 3 alternative apps because the ones I bought will no longer download. Sick of it.
If any of you guys are still there, I made this thread with a solution to help solve this error. http://androidforums.com/internatio...ror-24-insufficient-storage-space-solved.html
It turns out that there is some residue data from installing the app before which leads the app to not install. It's tested and worked for me. Please gimme a thanks if it worked.

Thanks man, but didn't work for me.
I did a search for anything doggcatcher related on my phone, not a single file.
The only option I can fathom is to find an apk of it. I've paid for it, I can't use it unless I pirate it. Makes sense.

[Q] blinkfeed not showing topics and services

i just reflashed a sense rom and now Blinkfeed is not showing up topics and services . i had this issue before , i know wiping the system will fix it . but just wondering if just wiping sense launcher in titanium will be enough ? anyone fixed it without a full wipe?
All I have ever heard of is unselected all services completely. Then add 1 and see if it works. If it does, then add all the rest.

Twitter integration with sense 5.5 (viperone 3.1 RC2)

Hi all!
Does someone has this problem that Twitter can't be authorized to the use in htc BlinkFeed? If I try from the BlinkFeed settings I can't authorize Twitter, if I try from the General settings it doesn't work at all.
Anyone experiencing the same issue?
Thank you!

You on the Beta of Twitter? If so, it doesn't interact with HTC Sense so won't work in BlinkFeed

Uninstalled and reinstalled Twitter (though I think a clear data would probably work too)
Did NOT open the Twitter app or add a Twitter Account through settings
Instead I went into Blinkfeed -> Topics and Services -> Services & Apps and clicked on Twitter
Get prompted to enter uesrname and password
Then get the Authorize Twitter for HTC Sense screen et viola Twitter is back in Blinkfeed
It worked for me, thank you very much!
