Hello all, this is my first and im sure last soft-mod for this phone i was setting up this ROM for my sis's phone as a backup but i figured that since its very light on the system why not share it. It is designed for people who have already retired the gt540 and using it as a spare no frills just a light rom i kinda made it look like vanilla gb(AOSP ROM style)

-Best use 150 MB system partition size
-ROM is deodexed for your theming needs.
-Rom is backedup with clockworkmod 2.5.1.8 so files does not have the yaffs2 extension so it should be better, can use both restore method or fastboot, but pls remember to restore the data too!

It´s the first release without cherry picks atm. Only theme changes...

Having spent quite a bit of time on both Liquid Smooth for the Note and Blackstar, I'm confident that this ROM will be excellent. Your choice to base it off of Cyanogenmod makes good sense, as I find it stronger all round than anything Touchwiz. There is however, a nich bit of functionality currently only available on TW based ROMs. I'm reffering to USB audio out. On TW ROMs, I can connect my USB DAC (digital audio converter) to the S3 and get sound outputing to it. It often takes several attempts, but it always works eventually. Currently no CM based ROMs can do this. Please consider taking a shot at getting this TW code to work on this ROM. Audiophiles would be greatful. If interested, here's a link to several logs documenting the functionality.

Which error ?

Interface in BirdNest setting is force closing for me. I did a full wipe before flashing. So far so good apart from that, ROM is smooth and quick. Location bug from Liquid beta 2 is fixed.

In recovery gives me error when try t flashing

I think its not his fault,i think i screwd up sometnig with dpi anyway i will reflash and post resoults ;D

Keyboard bug is there when i disable tablet UI tweaks If i dont touch settings and mod only pad.prop the whole rom is great and fast

Download push via ADB or with Root Explorer (ser permissions ++-+-+-)

Hi Smileydroid, Thank you for the apk. It is for me first time the replace a file. So please can you tell to which folder do I have copy or move the file? Is it system/app? And do I set permission on the app folder or on the settings.apk?

1st delete settings.apk from system/app folder
then put the that i uploaded here

What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you’d ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they’re “baked in” by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone’s settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?​

Use the play store for a file explorer? That's what i did, that's what most people do, if not pirate (No Encouragement Here :angel: ) An .apk and put it in the zip in System>Apps>HERE and then you may have to clean wipe and re-flash! and the kernel was updated so should be able toinstall apps now with it!

No! It's a final .zip ready to flash with all whats needed (Google Play ect.)

yep i think the reason is wrong Mounting... i try to Fix Storage access in V0.3 but without any tipp's i've atm. no idea. Lets see
But you read all? Root Browser,ES Filemanager ect. is working but it don't show the SD card

Yeha ADB is not really Good to use for Pushing bigger Files
but sounds great! your last fix was very Good :good:

The storage maybe the services.jar problem.
In services.jar.out\smali\com\android\server the all filename start with MountService
I think we need patch some code from yuga
this services mount the usb storage
