I know it's only been out a few weeks but are there any roms out for this phone yet? I'm rooted just haven't seen any roms yet. I understand if I use a att ROM data won't work.
I have been away from the Note forums lately, but wouldn't flashing the ATT ROMS then apply the TMO fix work? I'm asking, not telling.

I've searched all over and cant find anything about installing ATT roms on the Tmobile note. I found out how to root the phone but that is it.

Best I can tell...the ATT rom, using the TMO modem will "possibly" work...
keep searching, I remember seeing a thread or two in the QA covering this...

There were articles about 2.1 on G1 by the end of month but no one knows if these are just rumors. If you root it doesnt matter cause there will be a rooted version here anyway. The MT3G-2 will have 2.1 though and the MT3G will also get a update.

EDIT2: Nevermind, got it. If you're having this problem TURN OFF FAST BOOT in System>Power, itll then boot into recovery.

Each carrier will have different versions to account for different bloat and some system options (tethering,...) But at large they should be the same

Sorry hahah yes it is working... I think the problem is android revolution.. there were some issues regarding wifi if you didn't flash the specific firmware files
it should work for all models

There are half a dozen or so of the typical Rogers apps (MyAccount, Ringback, etc.) but they are all uninstallable. That was the first thing I did was to uninstall those apps.

Ya, I was pleasantly surprised that all Rogers apps were uninstallable. Looks like Rogers is listening to their customers and letting us choose which of their apps we want.
I am wondering if anyone has or can make a nandroid backup of the stock Rogers ROM and post it? I missed making a backup

I didn't know ROOT was available until I saw your post - I checked out Chainfire's CF Autoroot thread and found that he did indeed post a download for the TMOBILE NOTE 4 - you will find more information here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/orig-development/sm-n910-cf-auto-root-t2897428

I really wanted to hold out too. But I just cant anymore. especially with all the great developers getting on this device. I know the Custom ROM support will be great and it helps to really debloat the device. Anyway I wont be going without any protection. Im getting the Note 4 and then i will purchase SquareTrade's $100 for 2 years Insurance in case anything goes wrong. I still haven't voided Knox on my Dad's S5 or my Note Pro 12.2 because I'm so paranoid.

I looked for the right place to "volunteer" to help supply this information, but I don't see any place to post over on the TWRP web site and I don't see a general thread in XDA for TRWP (they all seem to be phone specific and I don't want to hijack them). Can you please point me out a link?

There was a fix for ux and mm based rom and many users tried that on nougat but weren't successful so according to many devs it will only be possible after official rollout of nougat for t-mobile..Sorry for inconvenient..Regards

In a text form, most that don't know will take "can" and "will" as the same thing. Hence, why I said "false hope"... I learned that only YOU know what YOUR taking about. Trying to get others to understand in a forum is a whole different ball game. I'm not getting bent out of shape, but to hint to someone, that you "can" fix your phone if you look at a particular section; is just wrong. Especially, when it's not a fix present. if you mean for g965u/u1 or g960u/u1 it never worked.. if it did ud see all variants unlocked lol.. just bcuz the switch is there doesnt mean it works..
these threads are misleading and not development at all, they just post a link to a site that has combo firms which are available all over the internet.. should be in the general section..
ive reported them to a mod but doesnt seem like they looked into having them moved to the appropriate section

Again, no.
These are posted all over the internet and do NOT allow you to unlock or get root on the us or Canada 96XU and 96XW models. They also don't help bypass rmm prenormal on exynos (96XF/FD) or unlockable snapdragon (96X0) models. In short, they don't help with anything, other than frp bypass which is not a permitted topic on here. If anything they waste more time than anything because every time someone posts this stuff the same questions have to be answered again, and before they are people some time trying the same things that have been tried hundreds of times before and are known not to work. I personally don't think that is very helpful

Correct me if I'm wrong but I've read through the entire thread and nowhere did it say that this won't boot. Like definitively somebody said it won't boot on the 9650u. Don't come at me with that garbage I'm not out here making these stupid threads. Seriously. Obviously if it was this easy to get root then someone would have it for my device, no ****. Don't come at me with that noob parlor stuff. Seriously. The point is has somebody said "this ROM will not boot on your device" nobody said anything about this ROM actually. Is it exynos? Is it actually a COM .tar? Does it boot period? Where'd it come from? Don't come at me with your cheap post about being mad because somebody asked a question you knew the answer too. I'm sick of it on this specific forum.

Except it doesnt help anyone with anything, it just causes more confusion and gets peoples hopes up for something that is impossible. If anything it takes time out of other people's day to have to come here and explain how this just nothing and not a magical unlock for their USA snapdragon

Well Do you know what Version of FW you are running? like G960USQS7CSI5 or G960USQU7CSK6.? I Used a Combination Firmware to Flash the Phone, You should be able to get into the phone settings enable everything you need and in settings, like Developer Mode,OEM-Install, and USB Debugging. This how a combination Firmware should look (COMBINATION_FAC_FA80_G960USQU7ASJ1_FACFAC_CL13230190_QB26521439_REV01_user_mid_noship_MULTI_CERT.tar.EF).
