mhl adaptor only works on phones which have hdmi-out through the micro-usb port. Since the D3 has a dedicated micro-hdmi port, there is no mhl on it.
Sorry for your phone. Try to get a replacement!

No, mainly because that 3.5mm is for audio only nothing else, you could out put that sound on a tv but not video.
I guess you can get some HDMI to RGB and ebay

Unlikely because the lg hdmi connector is not universal, you can get standard hdmi to rgb converters but iv never seen one compatible with the mini or micro hdmi port lg used.
I have a media player that has a mini hdmi port and its not the same as the one lg used.

The reason your media player's port is different to the O2X's is because, the O2X uses a micro HDMI (type D) port, not a mini HDMI (type C) port.
Other than that, micro HDMI is micro HDMI, it's an industry standard. It's pin identical to HDMI and mini HDMI, just smaller.
That aside, converters for HDMI > RGB do exist, but they're more than just a cable, as you'd be converting digital signal to analog.

[Q] MHL Adapter on Nook HD+ CM 10.1?

Hi!
I just saw this video: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42141795&postcount=491
but then I was wondering If I use Usb A/F female to micro usb b female connector adapter like this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Usb-A-F-fem...Phone_PDA_Cables_Adapters&hash=item5af357c4e3
HDMI is possible to work.
I don't have any knowledge in this area, so I just want to have your opinions...
Do you think this is possible?
Thank you!

This phone doesn't do MHL but it uses Slimport. As far as I know there are only hdmi and vga adapters. Maybe find hdmi to composite rca? Not sure if it would work though...

slimport cost too much just for "try" , Is there some fake cheaper option ? just dont wanna take a risk and paying 20$ and it'll not work.

No, sorry. If you have a computer monitor then you could do slimport to vga but current devices aren't made with output to crt tv in mind.
I use the Netgear PTV3000 with this HDMI to Composite / AV Video Converter and it works fine. Miracast has a noticeable lag. I also use this slimport adapter directly to an HDMI TV but I haven't tried it with the HDMI to composite adapter. I saw one Miracast to HDMI + AV adapter by Visson.

USB Type-C HDMI Adapter

I've found plenty of USB Type-C to HDMI adapters online, though wanted to check if anyone has given any of these a try?
Would anyone know if all HDMI / USB-C adapters should be compatible with the Huawei P9?
I use one of these...
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Adapter-Fe...&qid=1463913348&sr=1-2&keywords=Aukey+adapter
There are cheaper ones around, but I think you should get one with a 56k ohm resistor... Something about laptops/phones being fried without one!
that's not for hdmi though?

My bad, misread the op as just a micro usb to type c adapter!
P9 doesn't have MHL so no, it won't work.

USB-C to HDMI Adapter

Hey all,
anyone knows a working adapter USB-C to HDMI?
Thanks!
Our phone does not support MHL...so no adapter for us...
