Hey bro! ..u changed the LCD density to 110, so many apps like tapatalk,poweramp,etc...are force closing!...
Can u not make a separate apk for the systemUI.apk or whatever apps are there to be modified?Like the phone.apk...

Did you patch it?
Because I didn't see any force close ..
BTW, LCD density not changed

u have reduced the lcd density to 110 , but that wont look gud with texts and icons

Stop posting these density changing "fixes". That's not a fix.

It's work for me (temporary), I Increased text size using third-party app from the market, and just want to share this temporary fix with others..
What's wrong with that

If you didn't change density, then why I'm getting so many fc's ? What exactly you did? Please explain... btw thanks meter won't help you get a job...

Dude try using poweramp or tapatalk!..

really mate, changing lcd density doesn't fix anything, only makes more and more problems it's simply useless

what is the need of this thread...therers already related to fixes...y not include it that...
also changing lcd density is not a real fix. ofcourse it solves our temporary issue, so i am happy

OK .. I installed poweramp and get fc, then launch again without fc.
Yes that's not a fix
I decombile systemui.apk but need hard work. I'm busy right now,
I do this temporarily until someone do it. I'll be thankful to him
I'm lucky because all apps I used are OK (no fc)

how about google search ? it also will force close when you change lcd density to 110

I fixed the carrier label (lockscreen layout) without changing LCD density
And right now I'm working on notification bar layout

I'm on last version of Helly and have no problems at all. Try first extracting and intalling de 2 apks that are on system/apps and then flash it, I did it that way.

It might help if I clear the defaults from the stock launcher....thank you!!

Nothing appears after flashing on CM 9..
When I try to install it (SecLauncher2.apk) manually it says that there is a problem parsing the package..

Flash it from recovery, and then change default launcher it will apear as an option.

Did just that myself. On CM9 (at the moment) myself. The option to change the default launcher does not appear.
Worked on CM10, though :/

Everytime I install this launcher, it turns out like this. What did I do wrong here? Do I need to change my phone's dpi in order to make the launcher fit the screen? Thank you ! I really like this launcher !

No, I'm already at 240 dpi ! I guess my problem is the navigation button, that make the launcher looks like that.

Normal color is white and on press is black... i want to reverse this.. but i think it's not possible.. 'cause color will be modified everywhere..or maybe i'm wrong

I have done some minor edit on framework causing the submenu text dark. As for background, I think that you can`t change it via xml, you have to edit png`s (off course, changes will be visible in all menus who are calling that specific png).

You download again the 10.1?, I upload it a new one yesterday, only have a glitch just before the rom finish the boot. You have the same?

No, I downloaded this one... All bootanimations in 7" CM10.1 does have an off screen in the first 10seconds.

Stop lying, you don't need NEXT to do this. This can be done with any kernel just by setting the ro.sf.hwrotation to 0. Talk to me when you have a fix for PORTRAIT.

sure, bootanimation is fixed but then you need a special init.d script or touch orientation is wrong. but try it if you want

add black pictures for first part of bootanimation, animation will start later and you can't see the bug

EDIT: Inserter 20 black images in part0 folder and renamed then in order... But it doesn't worked, it's like part0 was ignored

Maybe you need to edit the desc.txt
but it was only a joke because someone called me a lyer it makes no sense to make the bootanimation visible after 4 or 5 seconds.
i general don´t know why somebody has such a big problem with that bug ?!? if you are in bootloop for 1 hour i would understand .
(i edit my post before, added link for init.d information and hwrotation with other kernel)

But, the photos are all cramped... meaning they are all squeezed width wise ....
Is anyone else having this problem, the images looked squeezed from from left and right (width wise)

U cant measure any resolution.. Just select the full image. Thats all

I think it will work. Remove SemcPhone.odex and other odexed files related to the zip file then flash..
Make a nandroid backup up first

this is weird. i applied the mod but it seems like im not getting any signal out of this..
-odex rom but i've deleted the 2 odex files..
- settings -> more -> mobile networks -> force close..
anyway i've restored to my stock files..
