like where can i find a rom that can work on the aws frequency , ive heard people say that its doable but i cant find it

I would highly advise against this. Never give your imei to anyone you don't know especially these Internet companies. Just contact your service provider for the unlock code.

Any tool used to unlock this device for free??
At the tried all available apps in the market to unlock galaxy tab but nothing seems to work.... A custom ROM though might be our best luck. But no available at the moment. Still waiting devs :-D
Not that I need mine unlocked but would be nice to have the option. Maybe somebody will come up with something.
Hi. I used sim-unlock.net to unlock my AT&T Tablet. Not cheap at €35 but very quick service. Works well in Malawi, Africa.
None of the unlock apps work and the Hex edit method did not work for me.

Try this firmware site. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=33550162 look at the far right of the page and it should have a unlock button there. Make sure you pick your phone GT-I8190 for your region eg: UK,France,Spain Etc. USE MIDDLE LINK WITH GT-I8190 IN THE NAME.

It's not free, a couple of euros will give you a unlock code to free your phone to use other networks. You then have a sim free phone.

My network provider doesn't sim lock any of their phones, they did it at first but dropped it eventually. I just don't know why some of them still think it's necessary.
That's why I always buy SimFree phones, nothing but trouble with locked networks.

i have samsung exhibit t-599n from metropcs i need to get it unlock so i can use it with different network, is there any way i can do it without paying $40-$50 to get it unlock
Wing forum. But call your metro and tell them your going to another country for a few weeks and need too unlock it. If they say no threaten to go to another network lol

Call AT&T. They may give you the unlock code, but *only* if you are not under contract for the phone.
Good luck with that. I paid full price for mine and they refuse to unlock it.

Already gave my money away to one of those phone unlock websites (scam). With no results.
Any help on taking me to a thread (if there is one for my phone model) or explain me step by step (yes I'm new to Android lol) I will be deeply grateful.....

I checked reviews on their website and a lot of people has been ripped off.
They also used other couple names, Unlock-Code-Warehouse.com, Unlock-Code-World.com, TheUnlockDepot.com
Well unfortunately, there is no way to do it yourself without MI9 or earlier firmware. You will either have to contact AT&T or buy it from a legit seller.

I got my code for my galaxy note 3 from cellunlocker.net and unlocked my phone in one shot
It felt pretty good

I ordered a code also for my Note 3 from there and got mine unlocked too
I had great experiences with their customer support at cellunlocker

I agree, cellunlocker.net was very good in unlocking my phones I do recommend it if anyone is wondering about Cellunlocker.net
