Urgent !!!! Urgent !!! Urgent !!!!!!!!!!!!! Read this please !!!!

EDIT: OK Sorry for the insane title, i started this thread a long time ago and there has been no help. There has got to be another CM7 / MIUI user out there with a similar problem.
I have searched for a solution, but i didnt find one. Some one please shed some light on this. We gotta help one another.
Hey i need some help here folks, i have searched and searched for an app similar to "Samsung allshare " but i have had no luck.
The apps i have found are too confusing or just dont work.
Is there anyway someone can make the "allshare " app work on a non samsung rom??? Or even so is there an app (free) that can do the same without blowing my brain to smitherines??

well i would like to stream from my PC to my Phone, so i could watch some fishing videos whilst my girlfriend watches her soaps...
I have used Twonky, but that fails to play videos, Music and pictures are fine..
I do not know of any other apps i have searched everywhere

after searching the net for a long time i found the perfect alternative "gmote" its simple enough to setup.. hope this helps!!

haha... i have just downloaded gmote.
it lets me play movies on my PC fine lol... when i select the option to play on the phone, it gives me an error..
im going to download a compatible player and see if gmote will direct it to that...

got it working..... Downloaded Mobo Player, now Gmote directs the media to that and it plays
so happy of this outcome lol, couldnt believe it was so difficult. Now i just need to find a way of storing to the cloud, to watch anywhere in the world

and hey i have a doubt.. i am on simply honey 3.6.1.. i want to go to cm7.. but i'm also impressed by miui , can u suggest me which i should use ?? and also can u suggest anyothers tweaks i should perform to make the fone fast?( i know i cant use normal kernels like damian).. if possible list out the tweaks done in your fone after installing miui..thanks!!

MIUI is pre loaded with tweaks. the rom is blazing fast.
there is nothing you need to do with the rom, the latest release comes with tk glitch kernel which is incredible . also allows over clocking to 1.6 ghz, but this is so un necessary.
battery life has also increased in this newest release, and new updates coming a few times a week.
i cant recommend MIUI enough..... its the future of SGS ... the future of Android

If you do go over to miui you can add in the touchwiz framework and see if allshare works with that.
I haven't tested it, so I honestly can't guarantee it will work.

tried that the moment tw framework was added lol, it didnt work , although some samsung apps DO work... weird...

Anybody have issues actually running the game once downloaded? I get nothing but Force Closes. Uninstalled twice and re-downloaded the files too.

Yep same experience here... Gameloft is the king of GARBAGE!

The one from the market from what i hear it doesn't work.
Whats odd is they dont even list the game being available for NS when you visit the website from your phone
The i9000 version works fine on NS i got from their website a few months ago never had any problems

I got it to work by opening the game, letting it force close, then holding down the home button and selecting it from "Recent."

Got Nova2 this morning for £1 and was going to pick up this too but it disappears when you select the nexus S as your phone, so they know it's not compatible

Same problem here... it may be the ROM we're running... what ROM are you all running? latest MIUI here...

I got the galaxy s version from gameloft.com and it works great for me

Got mine straight from the market. CM7.0.3. How would I get the Galaxy S version? No way in hell am I paying for it again.

Tell them you somehow got the wrong version and see if they will text you a link to the right apk.

Yes it is, but sometimes the same game ISN'T available on both devices. Then you're in a pickle! Lol. I did that today. A game wasn't available for the note, I installed it on my SGS2, saved the APK and copied it over (and Dead Space works perfectly No errors, banding, or anything!). Almost all my purchased applications show up, too, directly on the note.

Are you referring to SF IV? Because i tried that. I got it to work but i get white textures. I mean everything was super except the background image. It was "white". I tried chainfire but no good. I believe i was on V20b back then. I forgot to test it Zeus v6. Might be irrelevant but i wanted to give it a try. Anyways may be someone else can try.

I've tried it but never went through "downloading resources" screen, but I read somewhere if you're having white textures you need to use chainfire with qualcomm plugin, or was it nvidia? don't remember but there's both plugins

I've tried them all. will go over it again when i flash Zeus v6 back.

a heck load of trouble to get it working without the white backgrounds and all.
bluetooth multiplayer does not work (force closes when i tried to connect with my friend who was using a galaxy note)
so i'll be holding off until the official version comes. sf is best played with friends if not it gets boring quickly

Can't install Netflix app

I have the SM N950N 256gb.
I cant find the netflix app on the play store neither install it through the play store when going on the computer.
NETFLIX is supported in Israel (where i live) and i had it on both my galaxy s4 and my oneplus 3t.
What could possibly be the reason?

Are you rooted? If so, that is the problem. Netflix no longer allows their app to be installed on a rooted phone.
There is however a workaround. Search for it using "install Netflix on rooted phone".

Have you tried , just throwing out ideas... A Netflix apk from perhaps a lower revision build of the Netflix app?

I havent. How do i get a safe apk of it?

Ok i installed an apk. It works great. Everything is fine as expected. It just bums me out that i have to go around and get an apk. Besides the fact it feels less secure than using the play store. Its also not gonna get any updates which is also annoying.
I just hoped i could fix it without having to go around

Wish I could have helped you more, I don't really use Netflix on phone at all. Hopefully someone will chime in eventually.

Netflix site worked for me. They provided apk.

I had issues with Samsung pay saying my phone was not compatible after a factory reset. Samsung told me to get phone warrantied. I knew it was software issue not hardware. I agree I hate trusting downloading apk off the web. But I had to since Google play store apk was the problem the play store version was compatible with my phone

just try using Shareit app from a friend that has netflix. also works for rooted phones, easy fix
