I guess people got tired of stupid/noob questions being asked. Especially when they're being asked in the dev section. He probably would have gotten a normal answer if he only posted in the correct section.

First don't be to hard on new users/posters , there is a time in life we all are newbies.
Correct that this should be posted in Q&A but you could just ask a mod to move it.
Now about the question;
I recieved my official ICS update or you flash a kdz V30A file on your phone. (how? look in the dev section)
Then I installed the unlocked bootloader (with nvflash), then I installed custom cwm 5.028e(with nvflash). Now I made a full nandroid backup.
Now I got a full system dump where I can start and build in root and init.d support and........
Then I made a cwm flashable zip.............
The rest is up to you.

Help with magisk

Please close.

Hello! So I saw the thread for magisk, read it, and am a bit confused on how it works or what it does. I understand that it installs into your boot partition and can potentially make any mod systemless, but I'm confused on how it works for the most part, could someone explain in short what it is? Like I said, I read through the thread already, but still not sure. Thanks guys!

After an update to last cm, cm recovery overwrite twrp. Is there a way to have twrp again?
bgcngm said:
That is probably because you enabled an option in Developer options, namely "Update Cyanogen recovery". Again, read instructions and you will know how to flash TWRP.

This is offtopic. Google the instruction, there are a lot of sites available which can help, I am sure XDA has a dedicated thread. If you do not like to read search on YouTube.
This is what I found after searching 5 seconds. http://www.androidbeat.com/2015/12/how-to-install-cyanogenmod-cm-13-android-device/
Now please back to topic!

Cmon man, like, there's a whole guide of flashing TWRP out there. Even in this Mi5 forum.
You should really put an effort to read and search before you start asking retorical question in a wrong thread....

You have to install TWRP, we have guide on how to do that in this section. Then just wipe stuff and flash this zip (+gapps).

Well you're in a development thread asking for recovery installation instructions for a lot of devices people wouldn't help at all in this section!
