1. Download the gingerbread-2.3.6-root.zip file from my drop box.

I installed this ROM today. Look wise, its all same as in with 2.3.5 or any GB Stock ROMs.
But I'm really annoyed with the battery icon since GB 2.3.3, i felt too odd.
But see this icons :-

Its too cool, and its incorporated in EmanoN, CM7 etc. Why not in Stock ones!!

I don't know. However, it seems it doesn't support it since I couldn't find Arabic language in Locale and text settings.

After Odin says pass, remove your phone then, go to recovery mode and wipe data/do a factory reset. ANd then reboot your phone everything will be fine.

Can we use dta2sd script with this ROM... I have rooted my phone and installed CWM 5 thro odin.... dta2sd doesn't seem to work with this ROM or does it...?

no, dta2sd is for custom roms and it doesn't work in stock roms. It also requires init.d script support that is also not available in stock rom. So, only way to use a2sd is to use a2sd app from market or Install Manager Pro v3.2 or similar apps.

Thanks yagya for kind reply... you have made the flashing process super easy... I keep referring to your blogspot... Nice & very easy... I have flashed this ROM (Official) and it is very good I must say.. till now using CM7 RC4 by squadzone .. can we use Link2sd if we have ext3 partition everytime I run link2sd it says script can not be mounted .. How to mount ext3 partition after boot.

Its same for Every rom...flash a safe kernel...(LS7 Philz kernel is brick free)
3 Wipes and flash...
My recommendation is flash Abyss kernel or any CM kernel..reboot recovery, 3 wipes and flash away!!!

No need to flash whole rom. Just flash Aybss kernel through recovery...How did you flash LS7 rom in the first place...

As i wrote in OP, Kernel is binary patched and have phils cwm3 insert, so should be save of curse i wont give you any warranty

Just installed this... Went without any hickups and it's smooth!
Thanks for all the effort you put into your roms!
Set dpi to 240 and restored a custom launcher cell layout with a 5 x 5 grid and it works flawlessly!

@ first the themes app didn't recognize my themes in my MIUI folder so I had to "import them from SD card". Then it needed xiaomi account in order to apply these themes - a new MIUI "extra"
And I miss the CRT-off animation

Out of all Devs on N7000 out here, you surprise me the most. You generously reply to all the post or question asked. I know most of them do...but still i find you best on this. Great rom. Your rom feels so different from others (maye because of miui ). MIUI is my first favorite. Currently downloading. Yesterday download didn't complete, it got stuck in between.

Chinese firmwares are for Chinese phones with Chinese bootloaders

what about rooting can the phone be rooted after installing this rom

only english and china. Can be rooted. First look chinese version is faster and newer than lsr. So waiting next from india eg something else.

i dont know, i just downloaded Chinese 4.1.2 and uploaded via odin 3.07 after formating all cache,data,system,emmc in recovery mode with
GT-I9100G_ICS_ClockworkMod-Recovery_5.5.0.4
my phone is from Europe. And older Chinese version i couldnt upload with odin 1.87 i tried before.

How to add others languages to localize main ui in this rom. This rom doesnt support to make easy switch eg. via language enabler app.

Welcome to our very First ROM for the I9505G. This ROM is part of a much bigger project to bring you more and much better ROM's for our Google Edition phone. I am very pleased to have finally got our Mount Points correct in Cygwin so that we can use Android Kitchen. I am also building a ROM from source at the moment so things will come slowly but they will come. I like 4.2.2. it is much more stable without all of the bugs that 4.3 has and now without more of the bloat, centered the clock and added an Extended Power Menu, Autorun Manager to disable OTA, and Ktoonsez MFD 4.2.2 Kernel. This is the FINAL Update for this ROM but I like it and its my daily driver for now​.

Make sure you check these settings and uncheck the Google service Framework update as seen here this will block the 4.3 OTA Nag

Thank you for all your hard work! You're one of the few I've seem developing for the i9505g.

UPDATE: Its almost midnight here in Hawaii but I wanted to let everyone know I added an extended power menu, removed more junk, deodexed the ROM and centered the clock on the notification bar.
I have a few more edits and then I will upload the file tomorrow night. I may have one more basic update and then I am going to focus on my two other projects for this phone which is a from Source ROM and the TW port to give us some variety.

I can try fotakill and see if it works or look for another way to disable it

Yes, I am on the MH1 baseband and it showed the update on first boot. I may just restore 4.3 anyway until one of your other ROMs come out. 4.3 runs great for me. Are your in the work ROMs 4.2.2 or 4.3?

I am not getting the update I'm on 4.3 BB. I'm gonna keep trying to push it though not sure why I am not getting it. Can anyone else confirm?
Yes right now I'm working on 2 ROMs one is a TW port and the other is ASOP from source. They are coming along slowly but I can't give any ETA's though but they will come.

Keep up the good work. I don't see anyone else active on the ROM's yet. I was hoping that several people would be active by now on ROM's and kernals too.

That one should work on the GE phones.
For everyone else as to why there is so little ROM dev for the GE S4 it is because you should be able to use any ROM made for the international S4. At least any AOSP/CM based mod.

Troubleshoot​
So when you are typing a txt, email or browsing etc. the word you just typed changed when you hit the spacebar? here is how to fix.
1. Goto settings
2. Then goto "My Devices' then scroll down until you see "Language and input" and enter.
3. Then click the gear next to "samsung Keyboard" and turn off "Auto Replacement".

after updating from version 2.1 to 3.0 you might encounter a bootloop after "Android is upgrading... optimizing XXX of XXX. theres a simple fix
1. Boot into recovery
2. Once in recovery go down to "WIpe Data/Factory Reset and enter
3. Now once in there you should see "Primary Rom" and "Secondary Rom".
4. Lastly enter "WIpe Data/Factory Reset" directly under "Primary Rom" then press yes
.
if you got a bootloop from coming from a different Rom that's based of a Sammy Rom try the above method.

can you upload on mega? for me and many others mega is the only way to download on a decent speed. Only a mirror for us, thank you!

ill try my best to but mega is really sucky for me some reason. uploads and downloads freeze with only couple of minutes left
