What do i need to know?

Hello there!
I have a Note on the way, i am just wondering if you had advice to give, good screen protectors, cases etc, just really anything you think would be useful for me to know!
Thanks
Oliver
Well, If you are really a phone dropper as I am you'd better buy a one of the Zenus cases http://www.zenuscase.net/galaxy-note.html
No I'm not a big phone dropped at all. Although reccomendationfor good looking case are welcome!
Sent from my HTC Sensation using XDA App
WOW!, Just been into a local phone shop and played with a demo note model, even more excited than i was before, pictures and such just dont do it justice!
But seriously, is there anything i should be wary of!
also what is a nice, protective but fairly compact dairy type case for it?
and a screen protector that wont take away from the s-pen?
Thanks Guys!
My first case choice was the noreve posted in the accessories area of the note forums. But noreve does not accept discover or paypal so I ended up going with Zenus, which there is another thread about in the accessories forum.
This device is very thin and has a large glass surface, so getting some sort of insurance on it is probably a good idea.
As far as screen protectors, anything that you put on the screen will slightly alter the input, but I just decided to go with a protector with good reviews on amazon and I am pleased with the fit and clarity, and the s-pen still works great. Don't remember the brand, but it was not steinheil/sgp, although i hear their ultra crystal protectors are the best.
Thanks, i have got insurance for it, hmmm, i'll have to look for those threads and i'll have to look atscreen protectors aswell.
Thanks!
i would tell you to add a good screen protector and if possible go get the Samsung leather case for this..
In India presently they are giving it for free with the phone

Screen protector/case for UK?

So, are there any good cases for the N7 that can be bought in the UK? I want something that doesn't add too much bulk; I prefer TPU/silicone cases that cover the back (Like the Switcheasy Colors series for iDevices). Also, does the screen even need a protector? I'm very nitpicky about scratches so if someone could help me out that'd be great.

The screen is scratch resistant, although it still can get scratched - so I would say get a decent quality screen protector for it. You can get a silicone case off eBay that's shipped from the UK that is similar to the Switcheasy stuff.
Only thing is I'm not sure which screen protectors are decent to be honest. I don't want another ZAGG one.
I'm keeping an eye out too.
I hate all the thick, fake leather, chinese ones that cover round the bezel.
Anyone know of any good screen protectors that can be bought in the UK? I like the wet apply ones but the ZAGG on my iPod had a little too much 'drag' for my liking.
Best skins ever you can't go wrong quick shipping as well us though.
Those XOSkins look really nice but I believe they're US only as well
I've got the terrapin dry application screen protector and the S line gel case (in clear). Both are widelty available on eBay UK for next to no money. All good

Which screen protector to buy?

What is the best tempered glass screen protector for the OP3 right now? I'm looking for as much coverage as possible, and I have looked at both threads about cases and screen protectors and I am left with these 3 who seem OK:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H8SK88U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
http://vifocal.com/tempered-glass-f...e-for-oneplus-3-oneplus-three-smartphone.html < i've read a lot of bad reviews about this site
http://orzly.com/orzlyr-3d-pro-fit-glass-screen-protector-for-oneplus-3.html
What's the big difference between these 3? What would you suggest me?
Thanks for helping out
I think you would be crazy to go for the one from vifocal.... as it is clearly using the images from the other two brands...
Orzly is getting stock in earlier so could go for them - thats why I ordered from them
I dont know how Pleson could have reviews if it isn't even in stock...
I'm wondering the same thing.
I ended up ordering a cheap one from amazon until my nillkin arrives from china. I have used nillkin on other phones with good success.
Im really waiting for xtremeguard to release theirs as they can be bought for dirt cheap and are just as good as the others
Other than this, i am of no help

True. I just want a company to release a curved screen protector.. I think i'll be going with Nillkin or Orzly rn, but I heard some bad things about them in the other threads.

I mean I'm waiting for a company to make a curved screen protector for the OP3. In the meanwhile, I'm looking for a good alternative which isn't curved.
Screen protectors are quite lucrative on eBay. I got a nice cheap one for my OPO there, so I figured why not do the same for my OP3, and took a chance on this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/322131452093?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=511048999996&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
I guess it's ok for what I paid.. The camera/cutouts are off, as a result there's a bigger gap on left side Like some of the other brands, it came from China, so I'm sure there is some repackaging/rebranding going on.. 0.26 thinkness! hahaha... (btw unlocking the phone yields another fantastically spelled message on boot as well).
I should have stuck to the factory one, though I hated how it attracted smudges. As noted earlier, a curved one would be nice. Oh well - steer clear of this one, and hoping someone finds a better one
I buyed from Ebay , Nillkin PRO 0.25mm in 7 usd

Appreciate that! I bought the Nillkin H+ and i'll report back with pics as well. I used to run Orzly on my previous phones but the Nillkin one is thinner.
edit: I see you've posted the review already. Good review, left a like.
does the Orzly protector curve with the curved screen edges of the OP3?

yes, that is why its rated 2.5D
Is it correct that the screen part of these screen protectors isn't stuck to the display? (So only the black parts are attached and the screen part is just laying over the screen)
Are there some non 3d-protectors out there? Would like to get the OnePlus one but it seems to be out of stock

I need screen protector, price is not an issue

Hello,
I am buying this device next week, and I need to buy a screen protector for it. What do you recommend? Price is not an issue. As long as the screen is protected, clear and responsive, the price is not an issue at all.
any other advice before buying the phone?
Thanks

Many swear by Whitestone Dome. Even in my country and I felt and look at it on my friend's phone, it's everything you asked.
Whitestone dome. I got a perfect install on my second install. Well worth the money no other screen protector comes close. Just make sure you have a compatible case.
Thanks for the reply.
I use IQ Shield film on my wife's S8+ and my Note 8 with no problems.

The best.
I'd recommend the whitestone dome.
I was skeptical at first, but the install is much easier than I thought. It installed for me on the first try without any bubbles, lint, or anything else under it. You can hardly tell it's on the phone. I've also seen great things about their customer service.
Good luck with whatever you choose!

These are great, full coverage, no oil slick, a very slight overlap on the edges though. Have worked fine with supplied transparent case, the official flip case and also this case which is a metal frame (wouldn't recommend though)

Thanks, actually nearly bought one of those cases last week just to try
