The s2 version was a blatant theft of other roms files. Hence his thread being closed. Im suprised he is not banned to be honest.
I had to go round a load of foreign forums asking them to remove his latest rom when he took my entire policy.jar, frameres ,framework.jar and our custom settings app and passed them off as his own
I worked weeks on porting the ripple to s2 and this clown takes it and claims its his work. He even renamed our app to try to hide it. Here is what i found after decompiling his files...
Our app...as you see...com.ficeto...
He did the same to Legend95k and mirkoddd in his last release. Took the entire simplistic rom. He then laughed and said he would wait for their next release and take it again.
Is this the kind of person xda wants posting threads here?

Yeah i have a problem. Its that youre asking for donations for MY work on those forums.
They think thats ok. Hopefully xda will see what kind of petson you are.
Here is your android.policy.jar...with my teardrop lock files in it. You dont even have that working so it just proves you took my whole policy...

So with complete thanks and praise to dreamsforgotten for this vanilla GB mod located here. This mod worked on the rom out of the box. But signal bar reporting was broken on our device (since it was made for the nexus s4g on sprint). So I only credit myself for finding the proper smali edits to get the signal bars to work with our (fascinate) build of Vanilla AOSP Gingerbread from jt1134 located here.

****080411**** OK lets try this again. So notta was kind enough to fix a major bulk of the issues with the USB screen mount screen and usb icon and sync icon in the taskbar. But after looking at the images in the apk I realized that the wifi, sound toggle and rotation ids were still wrong and used the awesome tip from dreamsforgotten and figured out the wrong ids and made the proper smali edits.
****080511am**** Just tested on V3 080411 build. And all is well.
****080511pm**** Added version with text (credit notta on this one). Also sound image smali fixed for all vibrate/sound profiles.
****080811pm**** Fixed USB storage mount (only no text version at the moment)

Thank you very much. This was one of the few things missing from the vanilla rom. Now all we need is music controls on the lockscreen and battery percentage as number instead of icons.

Hmmm, strange. It's uploaded to the xda servers considering how small it is. And it does show up in the XDA premium app. Sign in from a browser maybe?

Also when you want to mount your phone, the options look messed up, not sure if it was user error on my part, but it started happening after I flashing this.

Chopper, decompile x classes.dex and systemui. Add my smali over, your classes, then add the missing items in your public.xml, strings, etc then recompile both.
Finally remap the ids in the smali to your public

found a bugs.. when you open maps or stock browser, the gps lock is the green download arrow...
I installed this over the 8/2 version of the rom....
that may be the problem, the zip here is dated 8/2 and I thought it was updated for the rom (it was updated on 8/2 also). If this is the issue just disregard my post and I will check back for the updated release.. it looks great by the way! nice work..

I have nothing to do with this ROM, just alerting XDA folks of the update. Oxygen is one of the most stable Nexus S ROMs out there.

Glad to see this ROM on xda. Its a great combination of lightweight and close to stock with most of the must have features of cm7. This is a fantastic daily driver rom.

2.3.7 was made for ALL Android devices. Don't let whether or not it was pushed over the air to your phone confuse the issue.

Well, I should qualify my statement: You can't just go flashing any ROM on any phone of course You need the hardware drivers and radio for your phone model. But that is separate from Android or Android version.

I think what really differentiates these ROMs is the customization. If it's still just stock Touchwiz, I doubt we'd notice any difference.
But good job. Maybe when you have a custom theme or post some screenshots

So this is basically a faster version off stock KL1 or KMM? I really wonder if it is possible to do a stock Google 3.2 for this...touchwiz just messes it up.

Actually its not. Its modified alot more and has more features. And you can't find stock 3.2 that will have drivers for this tab.

I've come across tons of great icon sets, and while I have used a lot of them sometimes I want one that truly matches (color wise) the theme I'm currently using. That's when I came up with an idea.
A simple yet nice looking icon set where I can let other users not just request icons for particular apps but also request a 2-3 color scheme of their choosing.

Officially I'm supporting Apex/Nova (well those are what I use to test but they'll probably work with some other launchers that I'll test at another time)...seeing as this was my first attempt in building apps if there's any problem with the apks let me know and I'll try to fix them the best I can.
I know there are some major apps that may be missing this time around so just point them out and those will be the first ones I add in the next release.
Also like stated above I'll take ANY color request as long as it's 2-3 colors...posting the hex codes will be a big help as well so I can get them exactly the way you want them.
I'll upload the zips tomorrow for anybody who wants them.

The previews are ones that I'm using/have used and depending on the response I get there will be MANY more to choose from when I officially release them. Now while I have see a good amount of icons I haven't seen them all, so if somebody else has something like this just point me to it and I'll go back to the drawing board (although the color request will remain the same).

Hey Mazda I didn't realize that was you I left the EVO too. Got myself a sgs3. Yeah I've been working hard to hoping it will start paying off.

PapaSmurf one of the mods in the EVO section got one recently! I think he's about to blow it up over there so look out for his work

3)ignore any errors and apply theme
4)reboot(most important step)
