I got to see the official Note 2 pouches from Samsung at work today. This should be one of the first reviews, it's a pretty cool product:

They are on ebay, & Amazon. I just bought one in anticipation for the US release. Prices range from $17.50 to $25 shipped in USD.
Just ordered one of these from mobile fun for £14.99. Was gonna go for a flip case but having handled one I am a bit unsure if it will get in my way to much so going for the pouch protection instead.

Got one in black for £7 (+£4 p&P) from Amazon.co.uk. Says it's leather, pretty sure they're PU leather. Still good quality though.

I can't find a case for this phone anywhere online. I checked amazon and googled it. People were talking about samsung.com, but I don't see anything specifically for the note 2 there. Can everyone just post links of places they got their cases? I really want a case before I destroy the phone. Thanks!

Samsung.com.
Shop products -> Cell Phone Accessories. Should be 20 pages of stuff
Filter for "Cases and Holsters" on the left. Should be 4 pages now.
Go to page 4. Official Samsung flip cover ($40) and protective case ($30) are there in 2 colors each. Use the 50% coupon from thread at the top of this forum.
Also, there is always eBay, and I heard Sprint stores have cases in stock. My T-Mobile store had no accessories
There are not many US-based retailers that have cases for sale at reasonable prices. I have a slew of them coming through eBay but most of them are third-party and shipping from Hong Kong. I checked the T-Mobile store nearby only to find that they did not have any accessories in stock and did not have any idea when they'd be getting them in.
Samsung.com, when I last checked yesterday, did not have any of the flip covers in stock for the Note 2. I put in a backorder on them but have no received an email yet.
Amazon.com, has mostly third-party accessories as well and it's difficult to find the correct items. Keep in mind that you can search for N7100, N7105, SGH-T889, SGH-i317 and many other model numbers.
Hoping within the next week or two that more US retailers begin carrying accessories.

Just called up T-Mo again, and again, "sorry, nothing yet. Looks as we got the phones early or something". Sigh...I think I got a simple one that should be here by next Monday...from Amazon.com
Well that's lame I'd really like to protect my phone. Can you guys post links to the few cases you are finding? I mean why can't we buy from European retailers sites? It's like they aren't selling cases yet either...

More and more cases are showing up each day. I ordered that Poetic flip case myself last night. Got a notification that it had dropped to $4.95, and there was no shipping cost (even without Prime), so it was pretty much a no-brainer.
Saw that about the Poetic case myself too. Went to order it today and they wanted to charge something like $25 for delivery to Europe Thanks but no thanks. Pity.

I'm particularly curious to know, when that case and the Note 2 arrive, if it can handle the phone inside of a TPU.
Speaking of TPUs, I haven't heard back from Diztronic yet on whether they're making TPUs for the Note 2. TPUs don't get any better than Diztronic, imo.
Wish there was a seidio case out.. Or something like it.. That was a nice case that protected well

It is cheap and is relatively unobtrusive. It is thin and yet, sturdy enough to protect the phone from a drop from a table top. The sides wrap around the front of the touchscreen just enough to give it protection from putting it directly on a flat table top. The kick stand is very useful to stand this beautiful screen, especially for the kids to watch a show.

I got my note 2 today, and drove 25 min to another location that had cases. I have the body glove also and love it!!!!

Another vote for the great body glove case.
I'm really surprised sprint has this nice body glove you all speak of.. I'll have to see if my sprint store had it.. Usually they have some dinky cases that are wayyyyy over priced

I just ordered this in Sable Vintage. I can't wait for it to come. I am sure I will get it before my branded Verizon Note II comes. Will post a review when I get it. Just seems like it is hard to find good quality stuff for this phone. I also ordered the Samsung original protective case for when I don't need to carry it with credit cards.

i think theres another recent thread on this. I hate cases, but love my Samsung TPU case. Super thin, rubber sides, plastic back that looks like factory back. Most people have no idea I have a case on it. Paid $15 for it
Do u thinks they have tpu cases for this phone in the kiosks in the mall. Need something to hold me over until I can get mine from eBay. All they sell at the carrier stores are flip covers for 50 bucks.

I bought the JKase Premium Quality Samsung Galaxy Note II 2 GT-N7100 Streamline TPU Case Cover - Retail Packaging - Clear from Amazon. It was cheap and I was able to get fast 2 day shipping with Prime. (can't post a link yet since I am new)
This case and my Note 2 will be arriving tomorrow. I hope the case will be enough to hold me over until a better deal comes about on a name brand case. I'll be pairing this with a Spigen screen protector.

Same here. I also have the Proclips mount in my car, meaning I have to take the case off to use it. The Body Glove case comes off and goes back on very easily.
Also bought the body glove one from sprint. Was worried about cases and adding bulk but this seems to be minimal and my phone doesn't feel like it's going to slip out of my hand every time I hold it.

I went to several Sprint locations, and none of them had the body glove case. I was also hoping to get something with a belt clip.
The only case I found locally in stock for my Note 2 was at the AT&T store and it was a white/grey CaseMate with a built in kickstand I think it cost $38 and did not come with a screen protector. Wish Otterbox made a Commuter style with built in kickstand for the Note 2.

I bought the Ringke SLIM Soft Feeling Premium Hard Case. It's slim. adds very little bulk while protecting at the same time and got it off of amazon for 10.99 on sale from 25.00. I added the Spigen SGP Ultra Oloephobic screen protector and it's totally protected. I love them both.......

$5 Ionic Position folio-style case off of Amazon. Offers good protection, looks good, and doesn't have a magnetic closure (huge!).
I just purchased a Seidio Active-like case off of Amazon to use until the Seidio Active combo either comes down in price or shows up at Best Buy for 2/3rds of what it costs now.
I also just returned an Amzer Shellster because it was a piece of crap that broke three days in. Spending $6 to return an item that I'll get $14 back for, after spending $5 initially to have it shipped. Really thrilled about Amzer's customer service policies.

I got my friend to buy a UAG S3 case, over quality and build is nice. I actually like the new design better, sets it apart a bit, plus 10 bucks off with the promo code why not. I went through like 5 cases this one should be a keeper.
I ordered mine because I didn't like the otterbox commuter. This case looks good and seems rugged enough for my needs. That $10 off code seal the deal for me. I hope this one is a keeper.

For me its the feel and quality of the case. I don't like trendy hip cases. The design is what it is and I still bough the case because I have previously used a case from UAG. I would get an iPhone if I wanted cool design cases.

There are only so many TPU cases you can own before they go stale. haha. I really wanted a Speck Pixel HD case, but it's been a while and hundreds of votes later they didn't really care. So I moved on. UAG case looks fresh, while the Case-Mate Tough case looks a little boring. One thing i loved about their tough case was all their silicone colors! I used to have it for my 9700 way back in the day and it was awesome to have so many colors but now they make a few and that's it. So... Pay 47 dollars (with european shipping) for a black on black case that's a little dated, or pay 30 dollars (with free shipping, so 23 euros that was taken from my bank account this morning) for a new design. hehe. I hope this is the case for me!

Well, at least they ship to the Netherlands for free.
Just ordered a black one.
Now I have to search for a way to put a metal plate inside to use it in the car (magnetized car holder)
Currently I am using the Tetrax car holder, but that means a (small) metal knob on the back. This way the phone cannot lay flat on the table. So, I am searching for a car holder which can hold the phone with that metal plate inside. (I once saw something like that, bu can't find it anymore)

OP, thanks for sharing the info with us!! I had already been interested in the white Samsung TPU case, and considering getting it. When I saw this deal I just couldn't pass it up!! I already have the white Samsung Flip Cover, an Incipio case, and another case, so I'll probably rarely use this case but just had to have it. For every phone I've ever had I always buy way too many cases, and normally just carry the phone naked. Oh well, it's just money after all. Lol. Thanks for sharing! I've never dealt with either company before, so I'm hoping that shipping doesn't take too long. I'm looking forward to receiving this in the mail! Thanks again!!

Before I pull the trigger on this. I get to the screen where it says "purchase" but don't believe I had the option to pick the color. This is extremely dumb if I don't have a choice in this, white cover wouldn't go so nicely with my titanium note. Anyway is this just me or can someone confirm I'm doing something wrong. Thanks.
