Wake screen using volume rocker on TX - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Good day. The power button on TX is on the left side and its hard to reach it always to unlock. Has anyone who own the TX found a solution to this? I tried using Widget Locker screen lock and it doesn't seem to function on the TX. Is there any other app that has the same function but works on the TX?

Xperia T - can you hide the bottom keys (Home / MultiTask / back)

I wonder if there is any way to hide the bottom fixed keys. For example when browsing would be good if it was possible to auto hide the bottom Home / Back / MultiTask keys? It would give back quite a bit of screen space by removing the black bottom bar
Is it possible?
Heh, it's about 5 threads below this one.
Here.
Closed. As said above it's already been worked on and in future can you please post any questions in the Q&A forum.

[Q] Can't remove Lockscreen Home and Back buttons

For some reason, the onscreen Back and Home buttons now appear in the lockscreen in the black space where the navigation buttons normally go. The Recent Apps button does not show in the lockscreen; only Back and Home. Before it was just a blank space when viewing any lockscreen. These buttons have no response and not even a haptic feedback when being pressed. It was bad enough that the black space was there in the lockscreen. How I have two buttons that don't do anything.
I have a TL with stock AT&T Jelly Bean firmware, but it also occurs on the generic .140 firmware.
Has anyone else seen this happen on their Xperia T/TL/TX? Is there some known setting or other thing that makes these buttons appear?
The back and home buttons appear when the notification panel is opened. Else it is just an ugly black strip. The functions are basically to close the notification panel after it is pulled down. As far as I know there is no way to remove it unless you completely disable the navigation bar and enable Pie Controls like me. (Or some alternate soft buttons).
If in your case the buttons are always displayed.. it could be a bug.
please

Yes, that is the solution. Smart Key app keeps those virtual buttons on in the lockscreen.

is there no way to keep the app and let the navigation bar remain invisible on lockscreen ..
or any alt app ?
Not that I'm aware of. Hopefully someone will discover a solution at some point.
Indeed I was the one who mentioned this problem, I also tried to address this problem to sony to update there app. But no response. Pleas all of you go to the play store and address this problem. Maybe sony will hear us this time.

[REQUEST] Control music with volume buttons

Hello!! I searched but not found a "mod" to switch music using the volume buttons. Like, keep pressing the volume up goes to the next song and volume down goes to previous song.
I thought for other devices but not for xperia Z.
If you have or know someone who works for the Xperia Z, please share with me and others ok.
Thank you.

download xposed framework & the tweakbox module. Install the framework & then the module & activate it. open tweakbox.....go to miscellaneous & there you will find volume to skip tracks option
btw i think your thread belongs in Q&A...not here
I'm looking for a mod that is done within the android even without having to use any application.
I think you're right about where I should post, I ask that any admin or moderator move my post to the correct place to be is possible.

Control brightness "blind"

Is there a chance to map Volume keys (only when screen is on) to control brightness?
Alternative:
Long press of home sets full brightness?
Dimmed at night, the display might be not usable next day. To adjust brightness usually you have to see the touchscreen.
I have searched for such an app, but didn't found it. Do you know one?
Please do not post questions inthe dev sections.

The Double-Tap to wake function is not able to make it to Xperia SP so far as Kernel Developers see it as a waste of battery life and the hardware for the phone simply doesn't allow the phone to have the function. So you might want to go for other devices if you want that function mate!
