I ordered that tuxedo case. I did the same when they did a similar promotion for the s3. The case I got in was garbage and not what was pictured.
Thought for $5 I would try Boxwave again but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Code deducts $5USD from the final price of the order...so shipping is only "free" on normal shipping...2-day and overnight are still $12USD, which with Prime would be much cheaper. Still $5USD shipped 3-5 business day for a TPU case is pretty nice.
These are just re-branded cheap ebay cases from China. Why even bother when you can get it $2-$3 cheaper and shipped free from China or maybe even US sellers? BoxWave is not an original case designer, it's just someone buying in bulk and re-selling it at a higher price, just like most of the other ebay sellers. And when sales are slow, they advertise on Slickdeals with discount code to push their inventory...
Just bought the BoxWave Samsung Galaxy Note 2 UniColor Case, $10 shipped to Canada, not bad.
Anyone bought one of these from here? Is it the real thing, or a counterfeit?

It's a FAKE. Go to "About" section of that website. It clearly spells out "we are China-based on-line retailer". Spigen clearly spelled out they do NOT deal with China retailers, those are all fake. Spigen cases are made in Korea (designed in US). And they are sold directly from Spigen through Amazon and eBay for the price of $59. Sometime they have sale on refurbished items.

cases are currently available at Walmart for $25 as a Black Friday deal. Picked up one last night. They also have the discount on Defender cases for other phone models as well.
I can't seem to get a case from them. I had a monarch black on order from Amazon since I got the phone. I just canceled it, got tired of waiting. They are even backordered on their own website. I don't get it, I never have trouble getting a case from them.

Must be a good seller or a supply problem. I too have never had a problem getting cases from them for my past Notes.
This time I ordered the Plasma before the phone was even released in the US. Shipped the next day & I still received it before the US N8 release date. At the time the Monarch said coming soon & was not available for order yet.

Ordered my crimson monarch directly from uag well over a week ago and still has not shipped.
Here's a tip for you. Look in your area for Verizon retailer stores (not corporate stores) they sell the UAG Monarch and that is where I purchased mine from.

I got my black monarch case from amazon. I made my order september 5th and received it october 7th. It is a really solid case, and really nice
I was trying to figure this out also, I think that Amazon had a supply, UAG could not keep up with the orders and then started filling orders from their website first instead of filling the Amazon orders. I went to their website ordered it direct and got it in 3 days.... Amazon still said out of stock.
I ordered from Amazon which stated to be reach in 10 days
Ended up receiving on the second day
I am waiting for my review sample from them
Amazon or Mobile Fun are the best for speed and availability in my experience.
