Video at 22fps?!? - Nexus 4 General

Doesn't look like a mistake from the reviewers at Engadget...
Quad core 1.5.GHz and choppy videos. How is that possible!

Software, optimisation. If its like this at release then we have to worry

Next android release

What do you think google can improve with their next release of android?

I would want Quad Core optimisation. There is not much difference in the feel of Android in Quad Core handsets.
I want Google to do something that would make Apple jealous and when Apple sues Google for no reason, I want to see Google Win
I'm enjoying Jelly Bean, since its pretty new and 99% of Android users don't run it yet. Why are we talking about a new version already?

I think Google may develop a Voice Assistant like Siri built into Google Now. And am not a fan of voice assistants but it seems to be hot around. They may also do something for battery life.
Some of mine friends got iphone 4s and they have used siri for first two weeks, after that nobody was using it...just hype for nothing. Here ppl are looking at you like u were an idiot when you speak with ypur phone in public haha

I would like to have more battery life... Do you think it will be possible to improve it in the next releases?

Google has to get a standardized AirPlay equivalent across all their devices, that is TOP on my list. And I would like to see continued development and integration of Google Now.

Hasn't Android supported multiple cores since GB? Pretty sure because I remember all the talk about it. I had the Atrix and it was one of the first dual cores.

I talk to my phone all the time, it's much easier. I use to only when searching for things but now that I have Google Now I use it much more. Most of the time if I am around somebody they ask me what kind of phone I have. I mean I wouldn't use it at a funeral and I don't go to church or Walmart and usually never the mall, I try to avoid mass social situations unless there is a DJ/producer I want to hear.

THIS THIS THIS! A battery is not a feature of the OS, and while making the OS more battery efficient is always good.. I want to see some advancement in the state of batteries, the phone has improved so much in the past few years it's crazy, the battery needs to catch up. I'm talking at least 3 day+ battery no matter the use in all devices.

HTC One X Camera for Vivid?

I saw the commercial where the dad is pulling photos from recorded videos, I think this is a brilliant feature and I want it. Is it a possibility on the Vivid?

No. That capability is because of some additional hardware the One series has. In the future please post things like this to general or q&a.

There are apps that let you capture individual frames from videos

Crap that sucks. Of course its old tech, nearly a year old right? Haha. Sorry about displacing the thread.. hopefully a mod can move it for me.
What apps do that mg, do you use any you can recommend? Know of any camera apps that do this?

What can you tell me about the One.

Hi guys. Have gone back quite a few threads in here so apologies if this has already been asked.
I am coming up to the magic upgrade date and am very keen on the One. I have been on xda for nearly 2 years now and know that this community is the dog's and you guys can help me out. I know it all comes down to personal preference, but seeing as you have had the phone for a few months now can anyone give me any comments, likes or dislikes or reviews on the phone? I am asking the same question on the xperia z page as torn between the two. As you can see from my sig I'm using an ICS right now. I don't really play games, look and build quality is important as is the camera and battery life. How does the camera live up to other phones out there right now?
Peace out.

Wow. Amazing review man, really detailed. I've had virtually no complaints with my ICS. It may just come down to price when I eventually upgrade, and I kinda fancy something different to HTC, but this review really confuses me even more, so thanks man!
