Cruzerlite cases are now available at Amazon USA - Galaxy Note II Accessories

Available HERE
Mine hasn't come in yet, but I've ordered a few for the SGS3 and was more than happy with them. The only case that i would probably say is better are the ones offered by Diztronic. but when i E-mailed them asking if they planned on offering cases for the Note II they didn't seem that interested.
Contact Diztronic A COMPETITOR TO CRUZERLITE I AM IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH HERE

Had a chance to check out some of Cruzerlite's products today. Found out last night that the company is based 15 minutes from my house. Pretty surprised. I couldn't have been more impressed. I picked up a black, white, and clear case for my Note 2....and they are beautiful. The fit is perfect. Probably the most perfect fit I've ever had on a phone. The grip sides are great too. The buttons are perfect. The sprint store was commenting on how awesome the cases were. I'll have some pics up in a few days, but these cases are great. Excellent value and quality. The pictures don't come close to doing it justice. For under 10 bucks...no brainer. Thanks Joel!

How is it any better than any other tpu case? I just ordered the 3.33 one and trying to justify the orange one.

Having the Android guy embedded on the back with a different texture is cool..you can't get the vibe from the amazon pics, so I'll try to capture that in my pictures. Especially the black case. And these cases scream quality. They just look pricey. I've owned plenty of normal tpu cases for other phones. They were fine, but I feel like this case provides a better fit and a higher quality look.

Snapped pic of the black one with my phone real quick

I personally ordered orange blue and white. Will post pictures when they come.

All pics taken with my note 2. Not sure why xda rotated some of them.. I'll leave the cases unpacked if someone wants other angles. .can't take pic of case on the phone yet cause my camera is packed.

what are you talking about? i posted a link where people could buy cases, and then i encouraged people to E-mail their competitor so we had more decent options available to us.
If you think i'm 'making money from referrals' please explain how, and who is paying me. because i don't think Cruzerlite would pay me for encouraging people to contact a competitor. and i don't think Diztronic would pay me for telling people Cruzerlite offers decent cases.

Code above didn't work, try B2G1 instead for buy 2 get 1 free.... Thanks

There is another thread about a mod for the official Samsung protective case that allows you to use the case along with the flip cover case.
Are these cases "soft" enough that I might be able to cut one the same way (a "notch" on the left side) to allow me to use one with my flip cover case?
The website says they're "flexible" but I'm wondering how they might compare to the oem protective case which seems to have a pretty soft looking edge to it.
Any idea?

I had one of these cases for my GNex. It is a very nice case. I like the android dude on the back. It gives a good amount of grip to the phone. It did make my GNex noticeably bigger and with how big the Note 2 already is Im not sure if I want to get a case. I am very careful w/ my phones, though accidents do happen...
Either way, I like the Cruzerlite cases.

i get mine in the morningggg ill post a pic for y'all i ordered the teal one o; from amazon

High Quality Cases

So I was hoping we could talk about high quality cases that look good and may cost more than the usual cases found on ebay etc. Even though I understand cheap is good at times I do prefer my cases to be of a high standard to hold my precious Nexus 7.
Any high quality cases on the horizon?
I've been looking at a sleeve. I can't post a link, but it's leather and comes with a 100 year warranty. It's by Saddleback Leather and is the medium gadget sleeve.

Saddleback is GOOD stuff. Might have to see if they have one that will fit the N7, otherwise might be able to request one.
Someday I'd love to get a Saddleback Attache. They are beautiful and will last long enough to pass down to grandkids (I don't have kids yet)!
http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/products/kindle-fire-plush-sleeve/1992727
These are $19-25
Timbuk2 makes really great cases. They are currently on sale for the kindle fire. I have double checked the dimensions and it will def fit the Nexus 7. The great thing about the Timbuk2 cases are the functional design. They have a pillow style memory foam padding and ballistic Nylon outside, and a plush, velour faux fur lining for the inside. The faux fur really goes a long way to keeping the screen and body scratch free.
I have 2 on order. They have a couple of different color combos to choose from. I am def into the sleeve style cases. I don't understand why anyone would want to put their tablet or e-reader in a jacket. They are designed to be held, especially the Nexus 7. The rubber back just begs to be gripped.
I'm hoping for a nice case from Incipio. Love the case from them that I have on my Galaxy Nexus.
I went with the roocase super bubble and XOSkin screen protector. I will eventually get a TPU case but don't really like any that are out now.
Those handcrafted leather ones look amazing though! Very nice brand name for other leather goods, but I didn't know they made this line of stuff.

I've asked Oberon Design if they're planning to make one for the Nexus 7. http://oberondesign.com/e-reader-covers-4/siena-ereader-covers.html I've had two of their covers and they're amazing. Their tablet cover isn't intricate like their Ebook reader covers but the quality is definitely there.

Looking at the dimensions, the Nexus 7 should fit nicely. The quality is really drawing me in. But they're kind of expensive.

Actually, I got a reply this morning - a good one:
"We are looking into making a cover specifically for the Nexus. We have one ordered and once we receive it we will be able to develop our design. I don’t know at this point if the siena style will be an option or not. We will have to see. Stay tuned for more information on our website and facebook page.
Thanks so much for your interest."
I told her that I don't care which one it is, to keep me posted. I love their cases. :good::good:
DODOcase makes great handmade case for the iPad and Kindle. I contacted them asking about the Nexus 7 and they said,
Thanks for your interest! We don't currently have an ETA for release yet, but we are looking into a case for the Google Nexus.
You can keep your eyes peeled for new DODOcase products in the near future, and you can go to the below link to join our mailing list and to follow us on facebook and twitter, which will keep you updated on our latest products and editions.

Does anyone know if the official N7 case works as a horizontal kickstand?
I bought the Timbuk2 Plush Sleeve, which is designed for the Kindle Fire, but the Nexus 7 is within the maximum dimensions. I've always been a big fan of their stuff and this sleeve is no exception... super nice!
FYI... I can confirm the Plush sleeve for the Fire fits the N7 perfectly.
I also asked a G+ question to Vajacases.com. Genuine Argentinian leather products. I began using them on my Sony Clie back in the days of pdas
Awesome product, almost to the par of Oberon cases. I have one on my wife's old Nook but looks great.
There's also http://www.reauthored.com/, which was reviewed on rootzwiki a week ago. Pretty cool stuff but unsure if they will make one for a N7. I haven't asked them yet.
Edit: Looks like they do lol

Where the heck do I get a case?!

I can't find a case for this phone anywhere online. I checked amazon and googled it. People were talking about samsung.com, but I don't see anything specifically for the note 2 there. Can everyone just post links of places they got their cases? I really want a case before I destroy the phone. Thanks!

Samsung.com.
Shop products -> Cell Phone Accessories. Should be 20 pages of stuff
Filter for "Cases and Holsters" on the left. Should be 4 pages now.
Go to page 4. Official Samsung flip cover ($40) and protective case ($30) are there in 2 colors each. Use the 50% coupon from thread at the top of this forum.
Also, there is always eBay, and I heard Sprint stores have cases in stock. My T-Mobile store had no accessories
There are not many US-based retailers that have cases for sale at reasonable prices. I have a slew of them coming through eBay but most of them are third-party and shipping from Hong Kong. I checked the T-Mobile store nearby only to find that they did not have any accessories in stock and did not have any idea when they'd be getting them in.
Samsung.com, when I last checked yesterday, did not have any of the flip covers in stock for the Note 2. I put in a backorder on them but have no received an email yet.
Amazon.com, has mostly third-party accessories as well and it's difficult to find the correct items. Keep in mind that you can search for N7100, N7105, SGH-T889, SGH-i317 and many other model numbers.
Hoping within the next week or two that more US retailers begin carrying accessories.
Sprint
Anybody checked if Sprint has any accessories either?
Just called up T-Mo again, and again, "sorry, nothing yet. Looks as we got the phones early or something". Sigh...I think I got a simple one that should be here by next Monday...from Amazon.com
Well that's lame I'd really like to protect my phone. Can you guys post links to the few cases you are finding? I mean why can't we buy from European retailers sites? It's like they aren't selling cases yet either...
Just checked and Samsung.com is indeed out of the Flip cover, but they have the Protective cover in White and Black in stock.

I'm particularly curious to know, when that case and the Note 2 arrive, if it can handle the phone inside of a TPU.
Speaking of TPUs, I haven't heard back from Diztronic yet on whether they're making TPUs for the Note 2. TPUs don't get any better than Diztronic, imo.
Wish there was a seidio case out.. Or something like it.. That was a nice case that protected well

I have bought quite a few cases for my Note original, and then my S3, and now a few for my Note 2, but i always come back to using this one.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TPU-Gel-Sil...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item5d35b91c97
It is cheap and is relatively unobtrusive. It is thin and yet, sturdy enough to protect the phone from a drop from a table top. The sides wrap around the front of the touchscreen just enough to give it protection from putting it directly on a flat table top. The kick stand is very useful to stand this beautiful screen, especially for the kids to watch a show.

Diztronic SGN II case in stock

I had their case for my Galaxy Nexus where it provided great protection and was also lightweight. I just ordered their case for the GN II and I'm excited to receive it. I went to the sprint store the other day looking for the bodyglove everyone has been talking about but ended up buying some bulky and heavy case from ventev.
http://tpu-cases.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=42_83&products_id=326
No pics are up but Clay did provide me with some rough samples. This looks to be far less bulky than the ventev and otterbox cases. I'll post pics once it arrives.

My case shipped out yesterday so I should have pics by Thursday or Friday. As for cutouts there weren't any for the Galaxy Nexus and that did become a pain however with the few cases I've tried for the GN2 the lack of cutouts is not a problem.

ooh. looks like they will have a clear one too... don't want to hide that textured back of the GN2!
Just got my case in. I like it much better than the case from Cruzerlite.
Edit: First impressions. Love the matte finish and the smoothness of the back. I wasn't much of fan of the back of the Cruzerlite case, but I dealt with it. Vol Up/Down and power buttons seem a bit a "clickier".

Thanks for the reassurance. I'm waiting for mine. Bought mine on the 18th. Hopefully see it tomorrow as well.
Got the case yesterday and it is great! It doesn't slip, it's light, and offers very good protection. Without the case I would frequently hit the power button but there is less of that now. I wish I hadnt spent 30 bucks on that bulky ventev case from sprint.
If I didn't "need" a kickstand in a case, this would be my number 1 choice. Their case kicked ass on my Galaxy Nexus. This is the best slim type case with a great matte non slip finish, and the cost is always very reasonable. I wish Sammy made phones whose bodies were like this case lol.

Pics of my new case with pre-made cut-out for Samsung flip

I purchased two of these cases from a company called Strapya. They are made in Japan by a company called Rayout. I modified about ten cheap ebay cases to work with my Samsung flip case by cutting out one of the sides. They looked okay, but I'm a bit OCD, and I wanted something that is pre-made to work with the Samsung flip case. I was not disappointed in these, even though I ended up paying about $35 total after shipping for two cases, an orange and a black case. At about $18 per case (after shipping), it's true they are a lot more expensive than $2 TPU ebay cases, but they have a much different feel. The TPU has a spongy texture that isn't slippery. It's also thicker, tougher-feeling, and weightier than cheap ebay TPU. The cuts are obviously smooth and perfect. I am very satisfied.

The cases took about ten days to arrive.

The thread you pointed to is people modifying their cases. If I am not mistaken, this one is about not modifying a case. In my opinion it's not the same.
I appreciate this thread because I have been curious as to how the store bought cases compare to the modded ones. This info would have gotten lost had it been posted in the other thread.

Sure. I initially left out a link to the cases on the Strapya website, but I amended my original post. I bought two because the shipping cost is equal to the price of one case. If I recall correctly, you can get two cases, and the combined shipping is the same as buying one case.

Nice. Hard to tell from the pics; is it the proper shade of Orange?
I'm a Tennessee Vols fan. And it's pretty dang close to the color of our home jerseys.

Thanks OP, could you post pics of the black case? Curious how the black case on black flip cover looks...

The first pic is the back. Not sure what you are asking???
Update: Ok. You said black not back. lol I have had a few beers. I will do that for sure. I just thought orange would show up better.
BTW...Each case also comes with a screen protector. I have not tried it though. Using a Just Like Glass protector. Does a good job but took a month for the bubbles to vanish.

Sorry about how dirty my phone is. Just got home from Buffalo Wild Wings.

[TMO/Sprint]TUDIA Ultra Slim TPU case

I just got this off of amazon for $7 shipped. I must say the fit and looks are awesome for the price. I think the biggest thing I like about it is that finding the buttons on the back are MUCH easier with the case.I highly recommend it.

Can you post actual pics of it? Had this case in my cart for a while.
LG G2
Sure I will do it when I get to work. I'm considered a "case whore" by friends since I always buy a lot of em, lets just say I haven't even looked for another case cause I like this one so much

grip, protection...
what's the grip and protection like for your tudia case???
Can you try something for me?
Can you see if 1 Credit Card and 1 Drivers License fit inside the back of the case and still fit on the phone? Its a way to carry those things on the phone case.
I need a case that does this like I was doing with my current phone.
Thanks!

Its not slick if thats what your asking. I havent had one scare or fumble with it yet. The protection seems great for a TPU case. I have no doubts when putting it down on its screen with the cases bezels being the size they are.

I was able to get the case on with my DL and a CC in there. It doesnt fit very well, it creates a gap at the bottom and where the case meets the buttons on the back. Putting just 1 card in the case, you cant even tell its there. Keep in mind I have a AZ DL which is very thick compared to say a CA DL.

I have the black + black, sorry.
thanks, but 20 bucks shipping for a case sold at 7, or on sale 3, its a bit too much for me.

I totally agree
It's a decent case. I'm not a big fan of tpu style cases but this one is nice. I think it's a bargain at $7.
LG G2
If someone could ship this cheaper, we Europeans would appreciate since it looks great
But yeah, 20$ shipping (like, what the hell) basically cans the deal.
How does this case compare to diztronic tpu?
Sent from my LG-D801 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I've used a diztronic back in the gs3 days and they seem close. Diztronic is a shady company though so I'd never support them again.
If wondering what I mean, search xda in gs3 forums for Diztronic.
LG G2
I'm also not a fan of the "lip" on the front and back of the diztronic case for this phone. Seems like it would trap lint like crazy.
