[ROM][CM7 CORE HD KANG] [nandroid] - LG Optimus 2x

All credit goes to the CM team and whoever made this kang.
I don't know if this will work for everyone so please comment if all goes well or not.
I'm not responsible if you break your phone using this.
This is a nandroid backup from my P990.
Place directory in your nandroid folder and restore as you would a normal backup.
If you don't know how to do this, then don't.
I've tried every rom available and I found this one to have the longest battery life - let me know if this is true for you as well.
Don't thank me, thank RC.

[Theme]MetaMorph "BlackWidow"CM4.2.9.1

This Theme was originally done by armyranger251, and he said I could go ahead and update it for cm4.2.9.1- Hope you all enjoy it- Chris
Again I want to thank Stericson, Wes Garner, and DJJester for their continued assistance. I also have to thank amac25 and david1171 for figuring out the difference in market app versions and how they react to themes and using MetaMorph

One important note- this theme morphs the market app-this is great and you will get the results shown below ONLYif you have a version less than 1660 ( for instance I have ver 1620) You need to go into settings/applications/market and look at the top left of the screen for your version number. If you do have ver 1660 or greater, please see what you need to do to theme your market app courtesy of amac25 and david1171. You can see davids explanation right heredavid1171 has offered to taylor a vending apk specificaly per request, so I will let him run with it until he gets swamped. But if there is anything you really want, don't hesitate to pm me or [email protected]- Chris

[Q] CM7 - Screenshot showing up as blank page?

I'm running CM7 nightly #38, and just noticed that any screenshots I take just turns up as a blank black image. Is it a bug in CM7 or something I've messed up on my device? Is there anyway I can fix it?
I've tried ShootMe and screenshot from the market and used both jpg and png formats.
I was able to make screen shots a few nightlies ago using screenshot, I think, but I forgot which version I was on when I did that.
Thanks in advance.
It's a known CM7 issue. Not a high priority at the moment.
Thanks, good to know it's not because I screwed something up
I agree that this isn't a high priority issue at all.
They figured out the problem and there is a fix in the CM7 Dev thread, but it's not really intended for end-users. I'd expect Dalingrin's next kernel release to include the fix.

Can't wait, thanks for the heads up

Which rom and which kernel?

Hello,
I'm looking for a rom and a kernel which are the best atm for the following criteria:
Smoothness
Stability
NO AOKP! (<== this criteria is only for the rom)
Very energy-saving
Flash-compatibility
No AOKP because i hate its bugs (SmoothRom isn't working fine for me, long clicking on the homescreen lets the screen rotate, i've downloaded it 4x times) and logo.
Atm I'm using this rom and franco kernel.
Sorry for my bad english.
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
The best ROM and kernel are the ones that you try out for yourself and like the most. Read the threads, test drive the ones that interest you and form your own opinion. All in all a fairly easy process.

[ask] for maclaw

first, i would like to thank to you for the development.. lot of thank..
but i have a little problem with the hosting. since iam not allowed to post at the dev section. so i make this thread. i won't ask you something new. but, like i said, i have the problem with the hosting. because almost all the Roms i've downloaded are corrupted. i use IDM, so it's all downloaded completely but they are broke. yea i know i can fix it with winrar. but, it doesn't work either. it fix a lot, but says all of boot.img in almost all the roms i've downloaded was broke (before fixing it, there are more than 90 erors. just the remaining one after fix it). so i just ask anyone who have a boot.img file to provide it for me .
since i'm not willing to use it for any kind of "special purpose". i think it wouldn't violated maclaw's rules.
i have downloaded 5 roms, and only one that working. it was the AOKP kitkat. but when i was trying to flash the Gapps, it wouldn't boot properly. it won't boot at all..
here is the sample proof :

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
after i try to fix it, just remain one :
i need boot.img for these ROMs :
cm10.2_golden.maclaw.20140108
aokp4.3_golden.maclaw.20140110
slim4.3_golden.maclaw.20140112

[Q] SGP - s5300: Flash-able zip

Hello Pro-developers!

"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I just want to "create an flash-able zip" (for my android device, Samsung Galaxy Pocket - s5300) that can customize or modified anything I want! I want to modified first the icons, then the widgets, keyboards, and even the application itself(e.g. in Mms.apk, i want to change its bubble and in Facebook app, I want to make it transparent).
Anyone that could help me please?
Thanks! God bless! :angel:
Actually and honestly, I got some sort of flash-able zip for SGY-5360 namely Glow Legacy by Deck.zip, i've modified it to be compatible with the custom rom installed in my device and it works for the system app but not for user apps which I had installed from sdcard and playstore, while flashing and it says its completed, but it never return to recovery mode(because usually when we do flashing, after it is completed, it returns to it) and I want to change the details displayed while flashing.
Thanks! I hope you can help me, you know who you are!
Please! Anyone who knows to make these possible, please remove your doubt to help me please! Thanks!
