Please Help!!! Flashed rom now no signal! - Motorola Droid 3

Ok so really! I really got tired of my phone constantly rebooting because it didn't have service. So i decided to go with the Mav.Rom 5.4 to shake stuff up a bit.
Well It works really swell but I have no service. Every time i boot the phone it gives me this "Unable to find GSM Network, Switch to Global mode?"
Oh ya here is the best part. Now when i"m in stock i cant even get service!!!! Super F*&King Sweet!!!!!!!
I am running the:
droid 3
Xt883 Radio.img
Mav.Rom 5.4
I can't express how important my phone is as a college student!!!!
And I really feel like i"m about to climb a clocktower with a high powered rifle!!!!!! Someone please help me! 3 Years in the marine Corps, All i'm asking for in return is a badass phone that works!
And a little help on how to make that happen!
Thank you in advance!!!!!!

no, on your phone missing ESF settings (IMEI, MEID so on..), it can not be repaired at the moment, because the bootloader is locked

Flashing the new ROM wiped out the build.prop
You need to push a GSM compatible build.prop back into /system to get the baseband to work again.

Unknown baseband almost always correlates to an invalid build.prop for the XT883 radio.
Flash this attachment in recovery.

I've already tried it - did not help, as well baseband - unknown.
in my situation baseband "lost" when I flash a phone "[xt862] .906 1-click-sbf.exe + tools]", although before that I also sews "[xt862] .906 1-click-sbf.exe + tools "and it worked perfectly. After that I trying all radio \ build I found on the internet and here on the forum - nothing helped.
i have xt862 Verizon .906

You need the 883 radio.

I wouldn't flash that. It has more partitions than our US fastboot files, so once you flash to it, I don't think you can go back.

I did the chinese flash. Search on psouza4 posts. Not the 1 click root ones. You can follow his directions and run the script to install the 5.6.890 to your Droid 3. This process requires running from within the extracted directory and utilizes moto-fastboot rather. There is a link to download the swu.zip. Just follow the directions

I have compared ME863 and XT862 XML files, number of partitions is same,
me863 xml no mbmloader and mbm partitions.
I flash the XT883 cdt.bin(xt862 can also help),now the droid3 come back normal.

actually, the me863 rom has not been flashed in droid3,select normal powerup will boot in xt883 or verizon system, this is a temporary way to fix bootlooping.
to wipe out the problem, need re-flash recovery rom xt883 or verizon,or one file cdt.bin
I don't know that flash ME863 rom to xt860 what will happen, but someone say it will brick.
xt860 recovery rom has not leak yet,so can't recovery.so I suggest xt860 don't flash this rom.
I tried to flash the ME863, that's no way, and frankly the chinese forum message smell a little like a fake, he says has replaced just the xml file w/o even manage to change the md5 checksums.
BTW only system and radio are flashable.
Flashing just the system image will lead to an error on the first reboot.
Radio flash flawlessly and the phone works, but the baseband value in the control panel remains unchanged, so I guess it is replaced again on the first boot.

Well yeah just to get signal back. After I installed viper rom is when i started to get this probelm. Ive had the viper rom for awhile and if my phone died or i had to restart it would loose signal so basically i would have to restart the phone again to get it back but now for like the past 5 days it seems to have lost it for good

Any suggestions in how i could fix this??
You dug a deeper hole for yourself. Nice.
Well now you need to unlock bootloader, flash custom recovery, and adb push or adb sideload a rom to get booting.
YouTube is good for videos only.

at OP, please disregard 99MB """RUU"""" (not sure how many quotes i can put)
go with @SaHiLzZ
What are you talking about? The first post ask for an RUU. If it's not what's wanted then so be it. But when did compiling a kernel ever occur in this equation? Do you know how to use HTC dev to find ruu's? It's all in the same spot. Been that way since the website opened. If an ruu exist it will appear in all after search is done.
If a full one isn't there then it isn't there. But it's a good spot to look.

No its NOT a good place to find RUUs, and should not be the first place to look.
OP, best to look at WRITTEN guides (couple linked in my Sig) to get your phone booting.

[Q] [Help] Boot Loop using GPE 4.4.4

Hello all, looking for a little guidance.
My symptoms: My phone (non hk, m8) boots and then reboots after about 3-4 seconds. I can't get through the initial set up at all.
I unlocked using the htc dev option, I don't have s-off, I flashed twrp 2.7.1.0,
I flashed the GPE 4.4.4 from within twrp and as per the instructions, followed that up by flashing the boot.img using fastboot. EDIT*** I also wiped cache, dalvik, and data prior to initial boot.
Everything went smoothly and I started the initial boot, it gets past google logo and the boot animation and it even starts the initial set up, after about 3 seconds it reboots.
I came from latest everything totally stock. (the .10 radio, and 4.4.3 stock rom) I accepted all the OTAs on stock then started the switch to GPE.
Anyone else experience this or know what I should look into to resolve this?
- Thanks in advance.
Update: I am fairly certain this has to do with SuperSU - I will attempt re-installing and ensuring SuperSu is flashed and ready to go before booting.
Update: Final edit - RESOLVED
For anyone else dealing with this, it is a matter of ensuring that SuperSu is flashed prior to booting. Once you've installed the rom, flash latest supersu and then boot as normal.

You're not doing anything wrong... Firewater only works on some M8s. You should definitely not be trying it in the GPE rom. Stock is what you want.
If you continue to get that message on a stock ROM you'll need to use SunShine S-off instead (I have a feeling that going back stock won't help the issue but it's recommended to be as close to stock as possible).

Recovery log?

[Req] Stock recovery for ATT 4.4.2 needed.

I need stock recovery for ATT 4.4.2, 165.44.10 in flashable zip format.
I got my soak test for 4.4.4, but I am on vacation so I don't have a PC to revert back to stock recovery.
Can anyone help me out?

I seriously doubt you'll find that. Instead, (assuming you are rooted), download your choice of "Rashr", or "Flashify" from the market, and use it to flash the stock recovery.img file (attached). I had to zip it because the forum has a 10MB size limit. Just unzip it first and flash with Rashr/Flashify.
Also keep in mind that if you have made any changes to /system (including installing Xposed), the OTA will likely fail to install.
Personally, I wouldn't even consider trying to flash an OTA after having rooted and flashed custom recovery without a PC around. If anything goes wrong you're gonna be up a creek (if you get my drift) with no way to recover.
Good Luck
I signed up and got the email about the soak test, just wondering if they send another email with the update or if it will be an Ota. I just signed up a few days ago so who knows if I will even get one but I'd like to know what to look for thanks.

It was an Ota last time

The roll-out hasn't started yet. The current *best guess* given by 'those in the know' is that it will possibly start tomorrow night. If you signed up for the soak test, you will likely receive it once the test starts.

QQ Sam, will that recovery also work for the T-Mobile GSM Version?
Also after flashing the recovery you need to flash twrp again i`m assuming?

Here is the recovery for the T-Mobile variant. It may be the same - I haven't checked the MD5s.
I'm kinda confused as to why you need it though. The XT1053 has been on 4.4.3 for some time. Unless you are still on 4.4.2, and you want to update to 4.4.3....
The 4.4.4 rollout (or even the soak test) haven't started yet.
Regardless, this is what you need for when it does start. Keep in mind (as your probably already know) that if you have modified /system, the update might fail to install. Remember to uninstall Xposed if you are using that before you update as well.
And finally, yes, after you have successfully taken an OTA, you can simply flash TWRP back again.
So... Do I have the right kernel for Att?

Oh wow! That's interesting....
Every Moto X Kernel I've seen (that was signed w/release keys) thus-far has the "hudsoncm" build. Now I'm really curious what is different about this one...
Or are you unlocked and you flashed a custom kernel?? I bet that's it - are you using "faux" kernel or something??

Yes. The other one pictured by the other member posted does not appear to be stock. My guess is that they flashed a custom kernel at some point.
Yours appears to be the stock.
EDIT: upon further research, both appear to be stock Kernels. I'm wondering if the kernel in the SBF differs from the one in the OTA. That's all I can figure. You would *think* that every phone on the same build, whether updated via OTA or SBF/FXZ would have the same kernel build. Apparently not the case....

Is recovery carrier dependent?

[ROM] G4 H811 Global Port ROM v1.0

Here's a global rom I ported from the H81510C.kdz that I made to work on T-Mobile LG G4 H811.
If you own T-Mobile's LG G4 H811, and want to use it on another carrier, you need T-Mobile to sim unlock your device.
"THIS WILL NOT SIM UNLOCK YOUR G4"
Base: H81510C_00.kdz
Features:
**Rooted thanks to Chainfire's SuperSU
**Made a universal APNthat should work with some US Carriers for data. If you data don't work, just add your APN and enable LTE.
**Does NOT have WIFI-CALLING, as this is not use T-Mobile software.
**Mobile Hotspot should work.
Bugs:
**No HD Calling
**No LTE on calls
**4g icon=LTE
Prerequisites:
Get rooted here: ROOT
Get TWRP here: TWRP
#1 Backup first
#2 Full wipe.
#3 Flash via TWRP

Downloaded this and installed. Notice an immediate difference from out of the box. Phone seems to be super responsive to touch, very snappy, and runs beautifully. APN settings worked right off the bat, and am glad to be tmobile software free
Thanks!

So is it sim unlocked automatically? Or does this enable sim unlocking through paying for an unlock code or what not?

@paoloroeseke
I remember for the m8 the skydragon dev would port about every single base to work universally to see which one ran best. Ended up being a super random chinese base that had the best combo of battery life and speed. Any noticeable battery life improvements compared to tmobile base?

I ended up installing it and falling asleep. Lol. But I'll post back about battery life today. I'm curious about the unlock too, ill throw another carriers sim in today at work and see what happens.

Yeah would be curious about battery life everyone in the battery life thread it seems that the H815 people always had like 5hrs plus of SOT
Anyone who installed this able to get titanium backup to actually see their app backups? Maybe it's just me. Lol

If you delete AdaptClient and the rest of the T-Mobile crapware, your H811 will be just as fast and fluid. The crapware is what slows the phone down.
thanks a lot..installed the rom and it is running perfect.

haven't tried it with Tmobile because I bought phone and was planing to use with att... I noticed the "mobile networks" in the settings is blacked out and can't access it as well... Am I missing something ?
How much of H815 is ported? Can someone test the FM Radio app?

Its the whole kdz of H815. It does have the FM Radio app but probably won't work because it needs a fm enabled in the kernel to work. Were using T-Mobile's 10h kernel to make it boot and work on our H811.0

Odd. Seems androfanatic below has his working with AT&T. I have inactive sim's with Cricket and Verizon who can only do emergency calls only also, but I never got a sim locked error was I did with stock H811 software.

Do all your calls and data work good? LTE?
How is the reception, baseband and lte speeds with this rom? I feel like my g4 does a little better than my note 3 but not as good as Alcatel idol 3.
