hello, just asking did anyone know about app which support group/conference chat on YM! ? i have tried Official YM!, Imo Messenger, IM+ Pro and yet. still cannot do conference chat even my friend have invite me to the room, i can't enter it.

Since yesterday i have been having alot of issues with Facebook app. I cant comment or like. Doesnt seem to show latest updates. Cant chat with my friends, i hear the facebook notification sound but window is clear. Is there a problem with my OB or fb app jus sucks? Thx.

Nope, OB is the only other device i use to login to FB other than my pc. When you say reflash, you reinstall FB app? Thx for the reply.
I've problems with FB app from LG.
Changed to FB original and all it's OK now.
Also you can try Seesmic or Tweetdeck.

Dont use lgs own crappy facebook app, compared to the crappyness of facebooks own app it is much worse. Best is to use facebook in the browser but then the chat probably wont work

I am quite surprised at how crappy even the official FB app is. I thought they were gearing up for dominating the mobile world by even releasing chacha and salsa but what difference does it make when their app sucks.

You mean an app that alerts you to fb happenings? Doesnt the fb app do that?
By the way, i use friendcaster and i get the same alerts on my Xoom and on S2.

Have you checked your app's settings?
I have always used Friendcaster to access my facebook instead the official app and it's much user friendly.
Xoom 's App for facebook working great but I wanna App to alert me when geting notification without opening the facebook

I think it just support mail , I have my yahoo mail configured and it is work as a charm

the first thing i did once i had my Note rooted and installed titanium backup was:
delete social hub

Yes if u have few mails account but at gnote they have remove the messenger features it was sad to do that....thats why I post the question hope xda can help ways to implant back this features...

Does the Atrix HD have the ability to send and receive group messages in a threaded format (like a chat room / iphone group messaging). I heard that it can, though I don't know of any other android that can do it without a 3rd party app so just wanted to make sure.

So it looks like I'm getting myself an N7 as my first Android device. I'm coming from using an iPad and it's built in messaging app to communicate with my wife and son via their iPods over wifi. What messaging app would you recommend we switch to once I have my N7 in hand?

Google voice for sms/ add grove ip to that and get full phone functions .
Tablet talk if you want to relay text and calls to and from your tablet thru your phone..
there is also tab text .. sync sms. and a few others out there..
IF your phone does not support tethering to do the above using your phone. You can try pda.net app from tablet.. I think it still works for most handset/tablet variations..

Agreed.
And more people should be using it.
A lot of people have an android phone and don't even know you can video or voice call using Gtalk.
