Here is no option like this.

Use a different launcher...ie, Nova launcher

When I use different (SPB 3D Shell), google bar causing this **** on the top (huge black line). That's why I'm asking about that. Check attachment.

Did you try a factory reset

I think you can get into trebuchet settings via the app drawer if it doesn't show in system prefs

thanks for the reply but ad far as possible I don't want to install any external launcher and keep things more minimal

Touchwiz doesn't support auto rotation (some do but not ics or jb)
There is an app in the market, can't think of its name but it will force the launcher to rotate, however it can make widgets look awful and unsized.
If i find the app ill link it, in the meantime just Google for it.

Action Memo Icon

Dear all,
We got Note 3. And I can call out Action memo by pen. However, what about if I want to have an icon on desktop and just call it out using hand without using pen? Can I do that?
Thanks.
Download a launcher and add the shortcut.
Just put the action memo widget on one of your screens.

Yes there is an app Called I font that works. It installs the fonts in your current font folder and works just like stock fonts.

Android 4.4 launcher DPI

Anyone find a way to change the dpi of Google's new 4.4 kit kat launcher?
I tried changing the dpi of the launcher's app with no success. Also trying to change the dpi of the app drawer.
I was able to change novas dpi easily but this new launcher isn't quite as easy to change.

I'm interested in this as well now that I have a stable 4.4 running on my N4 but I suppose we should be patient. I know the crew at PA are working feverishly...
Pretty easy actually. First download app settings for xposed, then scroll down to google search and click dpi, then change to what you want
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using xda app-developers app
That's actually how I changed the dpi on Nova. Unfortunately, This method does NOT work with this launcher. Any other ideas?

These are my settings, but No matter what I change the dpi to, it doesn't change.

This works! !! Thank you, that was driving me crazy. I first tried changing the launcher settings and as everyone knows that doesn't work, then I tried changing the screen density in the build prop and that screws everything up. This worked!

When did this come out for our device?
400 dpi worked pretty good except the app drawer button was off center to the left.

You can change the dpi with Rom Toolbox Pro also.

The problem is..my Trebuchet launcher is perfect. But the icons on the N5 launcher are big and hideous. Even the App Drawer looks ugly compared to Trebuchet. Any help with this..? Thanks!

How stable is the launcher for you? I was getting FC on Hangouts and Search everytime I tried to use it. is MMS working in the Hangouts App?
If yes, any thread you can link us to that shows the stable version and install instructions for this?

For the google search fc you just need the place this lib in, system/lib. Dont change permissions. Of course extract first.

What other DPIs are you using ... 400 seems way too small , I'm at 350 now.
Hour are people saying 400 DPI? My 150 looks massive...I dare not keep it 400...

The only way you can upgrade to the kit kat on a att is to be rooted. They have not rolled out the unrooted way.:crying: The knox notification is driving me nuts.

what DPI are most people using? I'm at 350, seems ok , maybe a little small.

Display

Is there a way to make icons smaller?? (or change grid size?) Question is maybe stupid, but those "large" icons are getting on my nerve a little.

Yes on the home setting in display i think if not use nova launcher >.- nova launcher is obviously the best free launcher and you can resize icons and more with it. I use nova launcher for effects. >.-
Nova launcher is best fir this purpose....while u might also have to change your dpi to make your icons smaller

Try downloading the app "Lg flex solo launcher theme", Hope that will also help you

Looks a little better i guess.. i used 320 dpi. For some reason my screen started lagging tho. I still havent found a good setting. You can check your resolution with rescheck from the play store to confirm that its changed to 1080p.

hold onto the icon and there is a brush that pops up on the corner and you can change the size from 2x2 to 1x1. It makes them smaller like on the G2.
Wait.... Our screens are 720p but we can make them 1080p just by an app?
