You can make these directories onto your sd card, and copy the sound files there (mp3 or ogg, it can be either of them).
It is simpler than your way

How did you make the directory? Becouse you don't have to make system on the sd, just /media, and into this dir make alarms, ringtones, etc...
It works, on my stock, i think it should work on all roms.

Did you mean, you have rooted phone and root browser?
My question was, how did you make the directories on sd?
What is the exact path of the directory which you tried?

It isn't in the forum, but I think the most already know that

How to make it work:
Change the ro.product.model=LT25I to ro.product.model=C6603 everywhere in your build.prop
Socialife download link: http://www.mediafire.com/?6rx7k59yta15yfc
Ps. you can't post only look at streams, but its nice to look nevertheless.
Edit: I just heard that there are more than one socialife.apk in the system/apps/ according to people who has an Xperia Z. Maybe if we get them all, it will work with posting too?

Works on stock based with NEXT kernel, bootanimation.zip in /system/media or /data/local.
An alternative method: backup /system/bin/samsungani as /system/bin/samsungani.bak and then rename /system/bin/bootanimation as /system/bin/samsungani

Use a file explorer with root access like root explorer or es file manager and look in /system/app for
HtcLockScreen.apk
Then rename it to
HtcLockScreen.apk.bak
And reboot
If you want to change back just remove the .bak from HtcLockscreen.apk.bak and reboot
A known Issue you have with doing this is that calls and text are not visible until you unlock the screen.

What ROM are you on? Also, did you double check that it was renamed? I did the same and ES File Explorer wouldn't do it. Had to use Root Explorer and mount as Read/Write.
Are you on the stock unmodified kernel? If so that's why htc has system write protection in the kernel any changes made to system get reset upon reboot.

theres 2 files on that google drive do we just need the apk for it to work?
I used both. But, I put the folder in to the priv-app folder and changed permissions. For whatever reason...drive isn't letting you download the whole folder from the dump. Not a problem, Create a folder named "MotoEmail2" (without quotes), put the 2 files into that folder. Move the folder to priv-app. The way I installed it was by changing permission on the MotoEmail2 folder to rwx-rx-rx, changed the permissions for arm64 to rwx-rx-rx and finally, the apk permissions to rw-r-r. Then reboot.
There's probably an easier way, but this worked for me. Anyone else can chime in here and elaborate.
