I have htc desire c. I do not see weather lock screen style in the personalize menu. How can I get that?? Does any one know??

Unfortunately, our device has cut Sense, such features as lockscreen widgets, anmated weather widget are unvaliable on Desire C
How they cut sense our device is already running sense 4 ?.. Is there any way to get that after rooting?
Hope is still exist))
It is 100% possible, but we need somebody brave enough to port & resize all removed features and also interested in it:laugh:

it could happen. You should check rom's which you can find in android development forum. Or you should try another way:
YOU should download Beautiful Widget from Google Play. It contains a weather widget which could help to resolve your problem.
What rom has to do with that htc sense lock weather style feature where can i find that file to download after i root my device?

You should check some forums and search for some tricks. I mean forums from One X or Sensation and try that way how is there.
I bought one yesterday but it's with 512 Ram and 1GB Storage, why so?

The desire C has 512 Ram, but it doesnt really have any internal storage... apart from space for apps..

i wana use it over desire stock foryo..........
you can extract the app from any hd rom you download,,,,
but - it wont work on a stock-froyo rom as it needs the whole htc sense framework...

So i send an angry E-mail to HTC regarding jelly bean on the desire c. Hopefully they will now realize that the desire c is more than capable of running jelly bean! The 512mb ram is no excuse!
The HTC one v is even more powerfull than the desire c and also won't receive the update also because the 512mb ram! Hopefully in the future they will release jelly bean for our devices(also the one v)

Forget jellybean , I dont think htc is gonna give our device sense 4+ . It would be better to ask for ICS 4.0.4 with sense 4.1 (This too seems unlikely )
Or at least some sources.

I am making a jelly bean rom for desire c, but it's hard to do and i am not a pro in developing for android only for windows!
So it will take a while and i can't post in the android developing section yet :crying:
So the developing of a rom will take a long time.
So stay tuned
And btw i need some beta testers in the future!

So i emailed htc about the source code they reacted with: that the source code should be on htcdev.com so i downloaded that. Looking at it right now!

The Pico's kernel don't look like ours!
The newer Pico kernels are kanged from golfu so that doesn't make sense

Is this really true? i can't see this update because i'm not on stock ROM anymore :silly:
It would be great HTC released an update, probably for bug fixing
I went back to stock, flashed stock boot image and recovery and relocked my bootloader, NO UPDATE
Also that software version number from the screenshot makes no sense, it is NOT a htc version from what I can see, I also checked for sources at htcdev
That is either a custom Rom, or build prop changes to make it look like another version.

Some random stuff
The screenshot is really badly photoshopped. Some proof:
If you were to take a screenshot, only the SCREEN would appear, not the entire device.
If you took a picture of your phone, then there should be some background. And some reflections off the screen.
The menus are not the correct size for sense for the Desire C.
Different resolutions between the phone and the image itself.
This is one of the most unoriginal troll/thanks attempts I've ever seen lol.
Also JB is gonna be great once we find a way to fix the WI-fi. My personal opinion is that sense should have never been created.

download a base rom. open with 7zip to the system/app folder and then delete and add apps.that all i know

Is there a custom rom like slimbean which has a transparent statusbar and the ability to turn off the lock screen.
I'm asking because I didn't find anything and the providerbug in the slimbean is really getting on my nerves..

You can easily turn off the lock screen in the lock screen settings lol. For the transparent status bar you can get xposed framework with gravity box OR Xblast tools.
With the rootbox I can't. Lol.

I've been searching on google for the AOSP stock email App but apparently each mod/build differs from ROM/device. So I would like to know if somebody has the .apk or a flashable .zip for our beloved device
I'd really appreciate any info or guidance you guys can provide.
BTW, I'm on Revolution JB ROM.

Have you considered flashing a custom rom? as there are bug free apart from wireless tethering as authentication is fixed now with N.O.P.E Kernel V2.6 as they are smoother and more battery efficient than stock sense

I'm currently on Revolution JB ROM, using N.O.P.E. 2.6, when I was on Revolution ROM the email app worked well but that's Sense based, so I really can't figure out why these don't work on CM based roms

Try LG UI 3 by addictz10 as it has the app preinstalled plus its smoother and im running it right now

He made a separate thread for each ASOP App, but those were for his sense-based Revolution ROM. I already tried flashing the email one and got no luck. On top of that @russell664 already left this device, so a new AOSP App HUB for the Desire C would be helpful.
