[ROM][GT-P3100][4.0.4] -Stock - Base: IMM76D.P3100DDBLF3

For those of you having problems updating your P3100 via Samsung Kies, here is the .tar.md5 file which can be flashed via Odin.
*Tested on my P3100*:
NOTE: I am not responsible for bricked devices or dead SD Cards, you are doing this at your own risk.

Installation Instructions:
1. Download and extract the file, you will get a file ending with "HOME.tar.md5".
2. Download the appropriate .pit file for your P3100 from here and Odin3 v1.85 (or above).
3. Connect your phone in download mode (Volume Down + Power Button).
4. Run Odin and find the .tar.md5 file and mount it as PDA and the .pit file as PIT. You should see your phone in yellow labelled as COM:*something*. Tick the Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time options.
5. Lastly, Flash! (Don't forget to end Samsung Kies or any other process from the task manager that might interfere in the process.).
That's it, you now have the latest official firmware.
If your phone gets stuck at the bootlogo, enter recovery and wipe data/factory reset.
To root your phone running 4.0.4, follow this guide. (credits: Fz.hary)

This is the latest release. Build Date : 28.6.2012
The Build date for that one is 7.6.2012

Not too many changes. Just "improved stability" as always and there was some problem with the wi-fi connection in LF2 which seems to be fixed in LF3.

If u want ill root and de odex this but I can't post it till after work tonight.

to OP : sir if you can root this and give us as a odin flashable package ,then we will get root privileges in stock rom
Thanks to your effort once that is done ,we can use mobile odin to flash clockworkmod recovery and our binary counter wont increases.
it will be a huge help for us if this happens as planned .THANK YOU for your effort.

I think Kidney Poker is making one so there would be no point in making another.
Besides, I am using CyanogenMod 9, so I'll have to flash back to the stock ROM to dump the system and data files and I do not like it one bit because my SD card does not have much space so I can make a nandroid backup of only one ROM at a time, either the stock one or CM9.
So maybe you should wait a bit for Kidney Poker to release it.

Download speed from given link is very, very slow. Possible to list it on exitbit file-sharing site?

Flashing:
Copy the zip to ur sd card.
Reboot into cwm recovery.
Flash theme.
Reboot
Enjoy.
Make a backup before flashing so you could get back to the original theme if you want to.

I did everything right.. just open the zip.. i think the even the folders are not placed properly.. i guess it isn't even signed!

Hm. It got corrupt while uploading. I'll upload a new file by tomorrow. Cause if it wasn't signed, how could I flash it and have posted its screenshots? Lol.

i appreciate you uploading a new file but this not safe at all man.. some corrupt flash can brick the phone.. please always test a flashable zip before posting it even if you have full confidence with uploaded file.. I'm not saying you know less about android but we gotta make sure our devices remain okay! lol.

Mate are you using windows or ubuntu to develop Rom? Coz I 1st installed the cygwin but that gave me error of dlls missing then i removed that folder ie cygwin and after sometime i tried to install the same that is not installing, saying that no packages found after giving correct path also please help me. I am running windows 8

I am finally backup my stock Rom using onandroid.
But when restoring backup with MODED CWM i got 1 error...
I have restore system/cache/etc...(backup and restore>advance>etc...)
But not restore data (FIX This problem or

Mobile Odin Pro requires root access to function and the tar that you will flash will give you root, so as you dont have root you have to do it long way.. Pc odin and then triangle away...

Downloading What The Zip? I Kept Getting Failed Everytime I Tried To Flash And I Do Have To Be On MDL Right?

Try downloading from a different server (to the right of the green download button) and also make sure to wipe preload. Hope this helps :good:

When ur flashing are u on twrp? If u don't mind asking. If you are you need to change recoveries like Cwm by shabby as that worked for me for AOKP n Beanrom

Yea Im Using TWRP But If I Changed To CWM Will I Be Able To Flash W.e Rom Or I Have A Limit??

You should be able to flash as many as u want however u can always flash from one to the other hope that helps

Ok But I Have To Flash All The JFLTESPR With CWM Not TWRP Because Everytime I Flash A JFLTSPR Rom I Get A Fail All The Time Using TWRP
