[Q] music still playing after headphones pulled - LG Optimus 4X HD

After I plugged off my headphones while the music is still playing, the music plays through the speaker for a couple of seconds, then stop.
I'm using Google play music app. Any ideas for this problems? Thanks in advance

I think it is because of the app, because i got the same thing with the latest google play music, but not with previous versions or other players

[Q] Music stops playing while using GPS-software

Hi!
Has anyone else had this strange phenomena with Galaxy S and GPS? Randomly the music player stops playing music while I'm training and using Runkeeper with heavy GPS usage. Same thing has happened with three different players, PowerAMP, Winamp and stock player. Player just pauses the music being played. Sometimes it happens several times during my workout, sometimes maybe once.
Any help appreciated thanks!
This happens to me constantly. Doesn't matter which player I use the music stops once I hit the home screen button.
I'm running the bell froyo jk3 rom.
This also happens a lot to me no matter what music app I use. I generally listen to music in the car with the phone in my pocket so I'm not sure if particular gps software is being used while I'm moving, even if I'm not using Maps or Navigation.

Listening to music in earpiece while calling

Alright, i remember back then, around CM7 #48, I can call my friend and listen to music, via the standard music player in CM7. However, the CM7 now is unable to do that. Is there any idea how to enable it?
What i meant was: I start to play my music, then my friend called, i answered. The music continues to play via the ear piece. however, the music volume is lowered down. which means, i can listen to a soft background music while my friend is talking.
Cheers

Bluetooth Audio Skips/Freezes

My phone is driving me nuts.
I listen to music through my bluetooth earphones while in the gym. The music glitches every 20-30 seconds.
Also, if I skip ahead more than a couple tracks at a time, the music player freezes completely and stops playing music. The only way to get music to play again is to force quit the app, and relaunch.
I've tried different music players and it happens with all of them. Is there anything I can do to fix this? It's never happened with my other phones, only the HTC One M7, and this is the second one that does it.
Currently running the latest CM rom.
Any different ROMs that do it?

Lost Media and external speaker sound

Having issues with sound. Ringtones , notifications and alarms work but no media output or in app sounds. Eg. YouTube, play music or even touchpad sounds. Any ideas on how to resolve???
Bump I'm having the same issue. No videos or music plays from my speaker. I can't even hear the person on the other line but my alarm goes off and it's audible. Anybody know what might be wrong? I've flashed different ROMs, I tried to power cycle, and even did a reason dance.
Any help would be great!

Mine was because I was running Viper4Android on the M preview. Deactivated it and all my sound came back.

Ear buds not working with spotify

Buds play music fine but buttons won't pause / change song etc. They work fine on Amazon music.
Anyone experiencing the same and have a fix ?

I don't have the buds yet (hopefully arriving soon), but I've had this issue with my existing bluetooth earphones. The fix was to make sure Spotify isn't on the list of apps getting put to sleep - I think you do this through the battery settings area.

That would really suck. Spotify is my go to music app. Hope it's just an update for Spotify.

same here...
I haven't tried another music app yet to just make sure it wasn't my buds acting up.
EDIT: not working with YouTube Music either. The buds beep when I touch them (single tap or double tap) but don't do anything. holding down does activate google assistant on my phone but that's it.
EDIT 2: now they are working in YT Music but still not spotify. weird.

Ouch. Nasty find. Strangely skipping works on all music players I use except spotify. I tend to blame spotify not Samsung for that.
Edit: it actually works ! All I did was close spotify then tap once on the bud which started automatically spotify with skipping fully working :good:
Seems like Spotify needs to update their apps asap
Working without issues here with every music app, Poweramp, Spotify, Youtube...

Still working? I did get it to work for a minute after starting Amazon music first and then went right into spotify. But after a couple mins, they went back to not working.
I've noticed that when the buds don't work, the lock screen widget to pause/skip also doesn't work
